Phillip is in his office reading the local news when Gus walks in wanting to know where Alan is. Phillip shows Gus the paper, and mentions that he’s going to have to have a talk with Holly Reade as the headline (“Corporate Giant set to Bulldoze Local Eatery”) is biased. Phillip tells Gus that it’s not so much the headline that bothers him, but that the article talks about a Spaulding insider, Phillip also goes on to mention that the person leaking the information has to be high up. When Gus asks Phillip who he thinks it is Phillip tells him, straight up that he thinks it’s him (Gus). Gus looks shocked at this accusation.

Inside Company Marina is watching Zach, and together they are making ‘pretend’ sundaes. Beth walks in and tells Marina that she was hoping that they’d be open one last time. Marina tells Beth that unfortunately they are closed for good. Beth tells Marina how sorry she is and Marina tells her that she doesn’t need to apologize. Marina realizes what time it is and tells Zach that they need to get going so that she can bring him to his father’s. Zach proclaims that he doesn’t want to go to his father’s because he’s mean.

At the farmhouse Tammy is walking around the kitchen and calling out JB’s name. She thinks back to the night before when she told him she wasn’t ready and looks as though she regrets it. Suddenly she notices a note on the kitchen table from JB that says “Later babe.” Tammy shrinks her nose at the sentiment.

Reva walks into Towers and right past JB who is sitting on a chair. JB stands up and says “hi mom, long time no see.” JB then motions for a waiter and points in the general direction of Reva. At another table in Towers sits Blake, who is on the phone with what appears to be Roger’s voicemail. Blake lets Roger know that once again if he needs anything to let her know and that she thought he’d meet her at Towers, his old stomping grounds. As Blake is on the phone Dinah walks in and goes straight to the bar. Meanwhile Reva goes over to Blake and asks if she (Blake) is waiting for anyone. Blake tells her that she’s waiting for Ross so that they can all celebrate Dinah’s release. Jeffery walks into Towers and goes over to Dinah, tells her he got her message and wants to know what she wanted. Dinah makes some sarcastic comments about how she’s fine and glad he checked in on her last night after she had to hitchhike home. As it looks like Jeffery is about to leave Ross walks in and asks Jeffery what he’s doing at Towers. Back at the table Reva notices that Ross is finally here and tells Blake that she thinks the ‘party’ can finally start. Blake rolls her eyes and wonders why Cassie let Dinah go free, and says that she hopes someone will take care of “that murderous little twit.” Blake looks down and sees her father’s name on the back of an envelope, and we flash to a man dressed in black carrying a box getting into an elevator. We don’t see his face.

Marina and Beth try to tell Zach that Phillip loves him (Zach) and would miss him if he (Zach) didn’t go see him. They tell Zach he can go play for a little while before going to see his father. Marina tells Beth that they’re always careful about what they say in front of Zach, and Beth tells Marina that kids are very receptive. Beth looks like she’s come to some sort of epiphany when she says that Phillip wouldn’t want Zach to be put in the same position that Lizzie was put in, with all that was witness when she (Lizzie) was little. Beth runs off and tells Marina that she will talk to her later.

Meanwhile back at Spaulding Gus tries to tell Phillip that he’s not the leak. Phillip acts like he doesn’t believe him. Gus informs Phillip that a lot of people hate him (Phillip) so anyone could be the leak. Phillip threatens to start firing people until he finds out who is the snitch. Gus tries telling Phillip that people usually prefer to help others that they’re not afraid of. Phillip sees the point that Gus is trying to make and agrees to try things his way. Gus leaves Phillip’s office and gets a phone call as he’s just outside. Gus tells the person on the other end that their story was a good one, they will be the first to know about further acquisitions and that simply put he and his brother see things very differently. As he’s on the phone Beth comes up, overhearing the conversation. Beth accuses Gus of being the snitch.

At the farmhouse, JB strolls back in. JB laughs at Tammy’s idea that he took off simply because they didn’t sleep together. JB hugs Tammy and tells her that guys don’t walk away from someone like her and that he’s exactly where he wants to be.

Ross tells Jeffery to leave his daughter alone, Dinah sticks up for Jeffery and tells her father that if Jeffery is there he can at least see that Dinah isn’t up to anything. Blake hears this and makes a comment about Dinah being a witch and Ross lets it be known that Blake won’t ruins Dinah’s first day of freedom. Blake decides she needs some air and Jeffery decides he needs a drink.

Reva is on the phone with Josh and tells him to give Shayne a kiss for her. The same waiter that JB was talking to earlier gives Reva a slip of paper. Reva looks at it and goes to leave.

Outside Blake wonders where her father is, just as the man in black comes up behind her and asks if she is Chrissy.

Tammy and JB are making out in the living room of the farmhouse, when Tammy offers to make breakfast. JB tells her he’s not hungry and to get back over on the couch, he then notices that she’s tense. He tells her not to be worried, if it happens it happens and if not that’s ok too. JB offers Tammy a drink to calm down, and tells her if need be he can be romantic, but regardless it will be good between them. Just then they’re interrupted by a knock at the door, Reva tells Tammy that she got a note from Cassie to check on Tammy. She shows Tammy the paper (which is the one the waiter gave her from Towers) and walks in. Reva sees JB sprawled out on the couch, and he tells her hello. Reva asks what is going on and JB tells her that they’re hanging out and offers for her to join.

Beth tells Gus she won’t tell Phillip. Gus wants to know what she’s doing there then and she tells him that Phillip needs to realize what his actions are doing. Inside his office Phillip hears that Olivia is back in the country and is angry. He demands to know how it happened and is so mad that he takes his letter opener and slams it into a nearby fruit basket.

Dinah asks Jeffery to join them for breakfast and tells Jeffery that she would like to bury the hatchet.

Blake turns around and apologizes, telling the man in black that she thought he was someone else. The man says that he knows she thought he was her father and introduces himself as Sebastian Halls. She realizes that he’s the man who picked up her father’s phone a few times, when asked if he works for Roger he tells her ‘not really.’ He also tells her that her father is dead. Blake tells Sebastian that her father can’t be dead, that he wrote her a letter. Sebastian tells her that Roger wrote the letter, but that he (Sebastian) sent it, and that as much as Roger wanted to come to Springfield he couldn’t because he was too sick and dying. Blake, visibly upset tells Sebastian that she doesn’t believe him. He tells her he was with Roger until the end; Blake tells Sebastian that it doesn’t make sense as Roger would have wanted her there. Sebastian tells Blake that Roger wanted Holly and Blake to remember Roger by his strength. Sebastian tells Blake that he has Roger’s ashes and brought them to her at his (Roger’s) request.

Blake knocks and Phillip’s office door and he tells her it’s not a good time. Beth remarks that it is never a good time with Phillip anymore because he’s always angry. Phillip tells Beth that he’s not going to see the error of his ways regardless of what Beth says. Beth mentions Zach and the fact that he’s part Cooper, and Phillip tells her that all her children will be fine. Beth goes outside to the hallway to see Gus. She tells Gus that she’s never seen Phillip like this and she’s now willing to help him. He mentions that short of making Company a landmark there is nothing they can do on the legal end. Beth tells Gus he’s not as dumb as he looks and leads him away, telling him she has a good idea.

At the farmhouse Reva introduces herself to JB and offers her hand to shake. JB slaps it away and Tammy tries assuring her aunt that nothing was happening besides them hanging out. Reva tells Tammy that she’s coming home with her (Reva). JB walks over to Tammy, puts his arm around her and tells Reva that Tammy is all grown up. JB and Reva get into a war of words over Tammy.

Jeffery tells Dinah that he’s not as gullible as her father so she can cut the sweet act. She tells him she’s trying to have fun and doesn’t want the animosity between them to continue. She also tells Dinah that she’s in the driver seat and can tell Cassie at any time all about his little secret. Jeffery hollers out to everyone in the restaurant that Dinah has a secret she wants to share with them.

Reva tells JB he’s being disrespectful and JB apologizes for ‘rubbing her the wrong way.’ Reva takes Tammy outside and tells her that using JB to make everything that happened with Joey better isn’t going to work. JB comes outside and Tammy decides that they (JB & Tammy) should get going. Reva tells Tammy she wasn’t finished speaking to her and JB, sticking up for Tammy tells Reva that Tammy already made up her mind of where she wanted to go. Reva, enraged asks JB what his problem with her is since from the moment she walked into the farmhouse he was nothing but rude to her.

Outside of Company Beth tells Gus to look up and asks him what he sees. She tells him that the trees outside of Company are ones that ‘nesting warblers’ use and that though they are hard to see, Company and the area around it is part of their migration pattern. She tells him that she knows this as she’s part of the Springfield Wildlife Society. Gus tells her that she’s genius and the two run off.

Marina drops Zach off and then asks if ‘it would feel as good as he thought it would?’ Phillip takes Marina outside and tells her to go make a scene elsewhere. Marina goes to raise her hand to Phillip and he grabs it. Zach comes running out of Phillip’s office telling his father to leave Marina alone.

Dinah wants to know what Jeffery is doing and why, he lets her know that if she’s going to tell everyone she might as well do it now. Ross comes over; wanting to know what is going on. Dinah takes the blame telling her father that she accused Jeffery of doing something in his past that he didn’t do and Jeffery told her to put up or shut up. Dinah asks Ross for a moment alone with Jeffery. Ross goes off to check on Blake. Meanwhile Blake is in tears while Sebastian tells Blake about Roger’s last wishes. Sebastian informs Blake that Roger didn’t want a funeral because he didn’t want his enemies to be dancing on his grave. He also tells her that he has a letter from her father, but that he can’t give it to her.

JB tells Reva that he doesn’t have a problem with Reva and that as far as he knows since she didn’t invite him she can’t uninvited him either. Tammy tells Reva that JB didn’t mean to be a jerk. Tammy leaves with Reva while JB walks on.

Phillip & Marina tell Zach that they were just having a disagreement, and Marina takes off with Zach in tow for a juice. Gus and Beth walk into Phillip’s office, show him a picture of a bird and tell him that’s the reason he can’t tear down Company. Phillip accuses the two of them making it up. Gus threatens that the EPA is now involved and Phillip tells him that it’s not over. When Marina brings Zach back he doesn’t want to stay with his father and tells him to his face that he is mean. Phillip agrees to let Zach go with Marina and tells him he will see him later. As soon as they’re gone Phillip calls Ross and tells him he needs to see them immediately so he can review his divorce agreement with Harley.

Sebastian tells Blake that Roger had specific wishes about getting the letter and that Blake and Holly have to be together to hear the letter. Ross comes outside and Blake lies to him, telling him that Sebastian is an old school friend. Blake promises that she’ll be fine while he goes to see Phillip.

Jeffery tells Dinah that she was one of the biggest mistakes in his life and he’s not intent on repeating it. Ross comes over and tells Dinah that he has to go to see Phillip and that she’s best to stay away from Jeffery. Dinah watches as Jeffery leaves and mutters that she knows exactly what she wants.

At the farmhouse Edmund is unlocking the door and Dinah appears telling him that she was hoping he’d be there.
