Gus tells her that he feels boxed in, and no matter what choice he makes he’ll never be able to change it. Gus asks why he has to pay the price for Harley’s past. Harley tells him he doesn’t have a choice that it’s her baggage. Gus asks her to drop the “Phillip Spaulding” thing and the “Alan-Michael Spaulding” thing because it’s like a suit of armor for her. Gus tells her he can’t get through it. Harley tells Gus that who he is, is what she can’t deal with. Harley tells Gus that she can’t do it the way things are, and that only he can make things ok for her if he walks away from the Spaulding’s, testifies against Alex and fights against Phillip. Alan walks in on the two of them talking.

Alan asks about Harley and Gus reminds Alan of Lucia and how he’s doing what he has to do. Alan asks if he’s sure and Gus tells him he’s not, but as he can’t have what he wants he’s going to do what he needs to.

Bill and Harley pinky swear on their deal to bring down Phillip. Harley asks if Olivia’s cool with everything and Bill tells her that she is. He also tells her that Olivia probably wants Phillip’s head on a stick almost as much as Harley.

Danny tells Michelle that he didn’t have much of a choice when it comes to selling the house. Danny asks her not to make things any harder, and she tells him she won’t and that they’re going to have to deal with something that’s been brewing for a long time – them going their separate ways.
