Thorne stands over Darla’s grave, inscribed tombstone – beloved wife and mother. Reverently, he leaves flowers and a picture that Allie drew. He thinks back on happier times – the engagement ring, the wedding, birth of Alexandria, the last birthday party. He tells her that he misses her so much. He bends to the ground and tells her that Alexandria is starting to ask questions. A little girl’s mommy. How could this happen? He tells her he loves her. As he sits on a nearby bench, he spies Phoebe coming also to visit the grave. He sees her cry and hears thoughts that he doesn’t understand.

Hector literally drags Taylor to his front door. She tries to pull away and does not want to go in. Forcefully he tells her that she almost told Thorne what happened, and he can not let that happen. She argues that Thorne is looking for answers, and she is the only one that can give them to him. She is the one who killed Darla. He goes on and on that of course Thorne is hurting, but telling him the truth won’t help. It will only make things worse. She laments, “a child just lost her mother. Thorne lost his wife. Things don’t get any worse!”

Felicia parks the stroller by the fountain in the courtyard. Dino is sleeping, and she knows how he loves the fountain. She comments that his daddy is from Italy and he loves fountains too. She thinks of joyful times with Dante and meanwhile he is sitting in Eric’s living room smiling and thinking of similar times. The repairman comes downstairs and talks to Eric about looking at the security camera at the side gate; it hadn’t been working for a couple of months. Eric eases Dante’s discomfort by saying he’d talked to Bridget and she had told him it was over between the two of them. And frankly he is a little bit relieved because it was too soon for her to get involved in another relationship. Eric opines it has been a pretty hard year for Felicia too, the way things turned out. Dante tells him Felicia is the reason he is there.

The repairman can’t help but notice the place and jokes to Eric that it must take a King’s ransom to run this place. Dante confesses that he came to L.A. because he was infatuated with a beautiful woman – Bridget. Then he met Felicia, well with a proper introduction and having a son with her is truly amazing. It’s taken him a while to realize how much he really loves her. He states that he is IN love with Felicia and if Eric will give him one more chance to prove himself, he won’t let him down. Eric tells him he appreciates that, but he’s not the one who needs convincing, Felicia is and she is out in the guesthouse. He extends his hand in support.

Phoebe cries to Darla that she can’t get that night out of her head. Alexandria lost her mother, but Phoebe can’t lose hers too. Thorne approaches her and calls out her name.

Hector shows Taylor plane tickets to Mexico for Taylor, Phoebe and himself. He tries to convince her that they need this. He has a little time off and they all need to clear their heads. Or the secret will eat away at her. He tells her everything will work out and that he will take care of her if she will just let him in.

Dante sees his son just before meeting Felicia at the door and she’s happy to invite him in. A pair of man’s hands picks up Dino and takes him.

Thorne doesn’t understand what Phoebe meant about losing her mother too, but he tells her to look out for her. It’s been hard on her with the divorce from Ridge. But, Hector has been a good friend. Phoebe isn’t so sure.

Taylor remarks that a vacation isn’t going to change anything. Her thoughts won’t be washed away by sunshine and margaritas. She laments that she is the one who killed Darla. She is the one who ran her over with her car. And Thorne is out there looking for the ‘bastard’ who did it. But, it’s NOT a man, it’s her. And is she an honest person? Is this someone she wants her daughters to grow up and be like? Or is she a liar; someone who runs from the law – a murderer? He argues that it was dark and foggy, Darla fell into her car. This wasn’t her fault, but it wasn’t Taylor’s either. She reminds him she was drinking and that changes everything.

Dante flatters Felicia by telling her that she is pretty and she remarks what – absence makes his heart grow fonder? She’s been busy at work. And she giggles that she believes he is trying to flirt with her. But, doesn’t he remember what a handful she is? He remembered that just before they said ‘I do’. He tells her he was wrong about a lot of things. And he compares her to Van Gogh. He looked different, he acted different. At times he was locked away, thought crazy. She quips she is not cutting off her ear if that is what he’s worried about. He continues that Van Gogh was sent away and his art was shelved, but he was considered a genius. He was one-of-a-kind, very much like her. She laughs that if he is trying to lather her up with his compliments, it’s working. Maybe she should go get Dominick and put him down for the night? She goes outside and then yells, “oh my God, he’s gone.” Dante goes running and they go off to the pool to look.

We see Dino in a car seat in the backseat of a car.  We don't see who is driving the car.

Hector continues his harangue that he had risked his life more than once to save someone else’s. Even moved people into his house, never asking anything in return. And now he sees everything in his life about to be lost – reputation, freedom, things he considered sacred. “No, a decision has been made.” But, Taylor tells him no too, she can’t do this anymore. She can’t eat, she barely sleeps. Every time she closes her eyes, she sees Darla. And all the people who depended on her. And then she thinks of Alexandria who is holding her mommy’s dresses and wishing she could come back home. And then there is Thorne, laying there at night thinking of all the things he wants to do to the terrible person who has done this to his family. Hector warns her again about Phoebe. Her life will be ruined and she will lose Taylor. He asks her if she doesn’t think she deserves forgiveness or wants to burn in hell? Is that the way she wants to live her life? She remarks maybe she should burn in hell. She counsels people all day in her office, who’s lies are eating them alive. And she tells them to get peace by being honest. And now her profession is even a joke! Why can’t she take her own advice? Why? Is she that weak? Keeping this a secret isn’t right. The truth is supposed to set you free. And Thorne will never be free. He’ll keep trying to figure out who did this. He’ll never be free until he knows the truth. He HAS to know. Hector tells her telling him will hurt two families. Does she want to be locked away, because he doesn’t. She implores him, she can not do this. She is sorry he got involved and she will help him if she can. She did not want to do this and she should have said no from the beginning. She should have just told the truth. He takes her by the shoulders and tells her to stop talking like this.

Thorne walks in and asks what is going on? He asks Taylor if she is okay? Rudely, Hector tells him he’s not welcome here. But, Thorne says to hell he’s not. She’s trembling and he asks Taylor again what is wrong?
