Donna walks into the show room at Forrester and remembers her conversation the night before with Ridge. That she wants to be there for Ridge in any way she can. Whatever he wants, whatever he needs. Let her be his Logan! He slips in and asks if she is excited about her debut? He tells her to just relax and reminds her what he told her last night; that she will be great. She starts to confess something about last night, but ends up telling him shes glad they ran into each other. He is too. If she hadnt, he wouldnt still be designing the new line. She asks if he is having any second thoughts? And, he reminds her they are going to make a great team.
Eric and Brooke are discussing it and inasmuch as it was her decision to make Donna the new spokesperson, she thinks she should make the announcement. But, she is surprised when he tells her that Ridge is no longer going to be the designer. She opines that she needs to talk to him then. Hes hurting and she knows designing for Donna will be different, but he cant just walk away like this. She has to convince him to stay.
In his studio, Dante slowly wakes up dishelved. He thinks about the kiss with Felicia. Bridget comes in and he asks what time is it? She tells him not too late for breakfast or an early lunch. She has croissants ..an olive branch. He grumbles that hes not hungry. Hes sullen and she realizes he is still upset with her. He feels justified she said she didnt want to have a baby with him. She realizes that a bag of pastries and an apology isnt going to solve everything, but shed like to please try to work this out.
Eric asks Stephanie and Felicia how things are going? Stephanie thinks they are all set up. He replies that no offense to Donna, but Brooke and Ridge are the Bedroom Line. Losing both of them could be devastating. If Brooke can not convince Ridge to stay on, this whole thing might be history.
Coyly, Donna asks for reassurance that Ridge really was glad hed run into her last night. She claims she was a little worried about things she might have said. About the role he played in her life. She can only imagine how it came across. He remarks, Donna, what happened last night was exactly what I needed. Ive spent far too much time licking my own wounds and feeling sorry for myself. Brooke barges into the conversation lamenting to Ridge that he cant just stop designing the line. She can understand why because it is THEIR baby, but this is a critical time for the company. They need him to stay on just a little longer until they can find a new designer. He happily informs her that hes not leaving; he changed his mind. Shes so relieved; shes absolutely speechless and especially when he tells her that Donna is the reason he is staying on. She thanks her sister. Donna returns the favor and thanks her with a hug for giving her this amazing opportunity. And Ridge adds one she is going to take full advantage of, providing he and Brooke can sell it to the press now. And hes going to make sure of it. The look passed between Donna and Ridge, Brooke seems to sense some vibes.
Bridget tells Dante that she doesnt blame him for being angry. He didnt want to wait to be married to start a family and she agreed. And she thought having a baby would be wonderful, but when she got the test results, she was just relieved. And shes really just being honest with the way she feels. Pouting, he tells her that hes really disappointed. And bellows how much longer is he supposed to wait when she says she just needs some time to think? Look what they did to Felicia. He practically dumped her at the altar because they couldnt live without each other .so if that is not how Bridget feels about him now ..he walks out saying there is a press conference and he has to go.
The three reporters meet in the showroom and the make-up artist tells Donna she looks perfect. Stephanie slips up behind her and also tells her she looks beautiful. Donna wonders if she is there to wish her luck? Stephanie remarks actually she was hoping she could talk her into bowing out. She goes on that she is a beautiful, young, woman, but shes never done modeling and knows nothing about it. Donna reminds her that neither had her sister and shed made them millions of dollars. Ridge joins the fray and says he has the experience and he thinks Donna has a wonderful future. She thinks its wonderful when he reveals to her that he has changed his mind and is staying on. He had just not wanted to produce substandard work. But, with Donna taking Brookes place in this, its not an issue anymore.
Brooke bursts in and says the reporters are here and she doesnt want to keep them waiting. There is something she has to say. Nervously, Donna says she hopes its a pep talk. Ridge tells her just relax and enjoy the ride. Brooke tells him she just wants them to know how much this line means to her. And shes leaving it in good hands. In that regard, she has no reservations in stepping down as spokesperson. Sadly, she says she wishes she didnt have to make that decision. She will be working from Marone Industries, but her heart will be here with all of them. Stephanie urges that they not get all teary-eyed. Why doesnt she just give them back the stock and they will call it a clean break? Brooke assures her that will never happen. In spite of Stephanies negativity, Forrester has become a home for Brooke .and its going to become a home for her sister as well.
Dante and Felicia slip off when she asks if hes like to talk someplace else? Before they leave, Stephanie catches up and asks to speak to Felicia alone. She pounces right on Felicia. Whats up with her and Dante? Felicia answers that hes just going through something. Stephanie offers that hes sleeping with her sister. Felicia quips since when is that something thats ever been a problem in their family? Stephanie tells her that she knows her. And when she gets strong feelings for someone, she gets obsessive. Felicia assures her she is fine and Stephanie has way more important things to worry about.
Brooke walks out to the podium and tells the three reporters that she is giving them an exclusive. She proceeds to tell them that she is making some changes and because of the recent tragedy in the family, she didnt think it appropriate with a huge fanfare. But, as of today, she is stepping down as spokesperson for the Bedroom Line. They are aghast. She continues that it will continue to be one of Forrester Creations most lucrative and popular ventures. However, her image will no longer be used. Jarrett points out that her image has made Brookes Bedroom Or Nothing At All campaign the most successful marketing effort in Forresters history. Another reporter asks why would they change now that sales are going through the roof?
Brooke offers that thanks to the Bedroom Line, they are in the middle of an incredible resurgence. Thats why she needs to focus her attention on her duties as CEO. And that brings her to her second announcement. Shed like to introduce them to her new face of the Bedroom Line a very beautiful, very alluring woman whos going to do justice to Ridge Forrester designs .my sister, Donna Logan. Immediately they bombard her with questions of how she got the job other than being related to the boss? Ridge speaks up and defends by saying the spokesperson cant just wear his designs. She has to embody the vision ..the vision inspired by Brooke Logan. And Brooke adds that just like her and her customers, Donna is very hard-working, very savvy woman who knows how to take care of herself ..just like she knows how to take care of her mate. There is light laughter among them. A lady reporter asks how does it feel to step into her sisters shoes? Jarrett quips doesnt she mean slip into her sheets? Donna admits its a little overwhelming, but Ridge gave her some good advice. Just relax and enjoy the ride. Jarrett asks Ridge if the Bedroom Line has always been about he and Brooke .she as his inspiration .his muse .can he design a successful line without her?
Ridge answers that his inspiration comes from beautiful women. Donna Logan is definitely that. When asked about the slogan, he contemplates and comes up with this, Forrester has a new Logan, Donna Logan. They clap and everyone looks pleased except Brooke who has an apprehensive look on her face.
Alone, Donna tells Ridge she was terrible although he claims she was not. Brooke was nervous when she started. And Donna remarks they were more interested in what was happening with Ridge and Brooke. He tells her that is what happens when you live your whole life in front of the media. You have to answer rather than have them speculate. To remember that be honest and be yourself and youll knock em dead. He hands her an outfit and tells her to go put this on. Enthusiastically, she says she cant wait.
Felicia joins Dante and asks how did things go last night with Bridget? Did they figure something out? He tells her he didnt go home. He spent the night in the studio. She offers that he should have said something; she would have stayed. He remarks he just needed some time, thats all. She asks for what? Because he didnt go home reeking of guilt? He confesses he doesnt have anything to feel guilty about. She agrees exactly. The only one who should feel guilty is Bridget for playing with his affections this way. When he begins defending Bridget, she goes even further by saying she has been putting him off since they met. Thats no way to live, Dante. Believe me. Happiness should never wait until tomorrow.
Brooke comes into Ridges office and he tells her if she is looking for Donna, she went to change. Brooke says she came looking for him. Was he just trying to hurt her? Surprised, he asks how? She replies by getting a new Logan. He sloughs it off as Forrester has a new Logan the company. Still in a huff, she replies that he has a new muse, a new her! Is she that easy to replace? He asks her what is going on here? They asked for a new slogan and he gave them the first thing that popped into his head.
She remarks that deep down, he just wants to get back at her. He justifies that he isnt. But, if he did, he felt it would be justified. It was her decision to give up modeling for the line, to be away from him and their future. Hed done everything he could to convince her not to give up on them, but she had married Nick anyway. Now, hes just trying to make the best of it. She reminds him how much the Bedroom Line means to her. How hard it was for her to give it up. He offers too that it wasnt easy for him, without her, but Donna finally convinced him that he could. Not to hurt her or make her jealous, but because he loved the work. He says he feels like hes damned if he does, and damned if he doesnt.
Brooke, what do you want from me? Tell me, what do you want?" Before she can answer, Donna waltzes out in the skimpiest of skimpy, a sheer white little nothing and asks, Ridge, are you ready for me? Brooke looks back and forth to the two of them with a enough said look on her face.
