Elizabeth: She needs help!

Lucy: It's ok, I've got her.

Elizabeth: Ian --

Kevin: Lucy --

Karen: I'll get a gurney.

Ian: What happened?

Elizabeth: She was dizzy and then she said she was ok, but then she just passed out.

Ian: Her pulse is weak. How long was she out?

Elizabeth: Just a couple minutes.

Lucy: What is -- what -- what do you think's happening to me?

Ian: It's ok, it's fine, I'll take care of you. Get that gurney!

Karen: All right, let's get her on the gurney.

Ian: She needs another transfusion right away.

Kevin: Another transfusion? What's going on?

Ian: You're going to be just fine, I'll take care you.

Lucy: I know.

Ian: You're going to be fine.

Lucy: Ok.

Karen: Let's get a room prepped. I'll get it ready.

Kevin: You didn't answer my question. What's going on?

Ian: I don't have time for you right now.

Kevin: No, you may be her lover, but she's still my wife. That means I have a right to know.

Livvie: I'll always be poison to you.

Caleb: Don't say that. Don't even think that.

Livvie: Yeah, but if there's no cure then --

Caleb: I don't know -- there's more going on. I -- I can feel it. There's an antidote out there. We -- we just need to find it.

Livvie: No. Caleb, you got to stop. There is no antidote, there never was, and there never will be. When are you going to be able to accept that?

Caleb: What are you doing?

Livvie: I'm making this easier for you -- I'm leaving.

Rafe: You'll be ??

Alison: Yeah.

Rafe: Didn't hurt you?

Alison: No, I'm fine. How did you know where to look for me?

Rafe: I'll explain later, all right? I got to get you out of here.

Frank: You're not going anywhere, Rafe. Get him!

Alison: No, don't. Rafe -- no, don't! Rafe -- stop it! Agh!

Rafe: Frank --

Frank: One wrong move, Rafe --

Rafe: Let her go.

Alison: No.

Rafe: You can do whatever you want to me, just let her go.

Alison: Please --

Joshua: Well, what have we here? Shame on you, Franklin. You should've told me we had company.

Rafe: I came here for Alison, and I'm not leaving without her.

Joshua: Is that what you think? Well, you are going to be disappointed because -- how shall I put it? -- Alison is otherwise engaged.

Ian: This may come as a surprise, but Lucy hasn't been a wife to you for a long time.

Kevin: Not according to the state of New York, and as her husband, I want to know what the hell's going on.

Ian: Why, all of a sudden are you so concerned about her?

Kevin: I don't have to explain myself to you.

Ian: I think you do. You've made her life miserable for months.

Kevin: Well, from what I see, she's a lot worse off with you than she ever was with me. So what happened? Did your blood lust finally get the best of you? Oh, my God.

Ian: I'm going to go check on Lucy. When I get back, you better be gone.

Elizabeth: Don't let him bother you. Come on, I'll go get you a cup of coffee.

Ian: Hey.

Ian: I'm going to make this better. I'm going to find a way and I'm going to make this better for good.

Lucy: I know you will.

Ian: I -- I -- I'm sorry I wasn't there. I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I can't be there the way that I want to be there.

Lucy: You're here now. That's all that matters.

Karen: You need to say goodbye now. We're ready to start the transfusion.

Ian: No, wait, you know, I thought I'd stay and help --

Karen: Ian, Ian, I'm sorry, you know it's better if you wait outside.

Ian: I'll be outside, then.

Lucy: Ok.

Ian: Ok.

Lucy: Ian?

Ian: I love you.

Lucy: I love you.

Caleb: No one is leaving anyone. You and I are forever.

Livvie: Oh, come on, stop it! Stop pretending like nothing's changed!

Caleb: Nothing has changed!

Livvie: Oh -- how can you say that? You admitted that I wasn't enough for you and I never will be.

Caleb: I never said that.

Livvie: You don't have to.

Caleb: You did. You said that.

Livvie: You don't have to! I can see it in your eyes. I can feel it when I'm with you. I will never be able to give you what you need.

Caleb: You are what I need.

Livvie: No, Caleb, what you need is to be a vampire. You need for us to be able to feed on each other so you can be whole again. You know I -- I will never be able to turn you.

Caleb: Even if that was true, it doesn't matter.

Livvie: Oh, God, that's a lie.

Caleb: No.

Livvie: You told me last night when we thought we had the antidote that you couldn't wait to be turned, to have it all back -- your strength, your power.

Caleb: And I still want all those things. I want to make love to you the way we both crave. I want to feel your fangs in my flesh, and mine in yours. But if none of those things ever happened, so be it. It doesn't mean you can't fulfill me just the way you are.

Livvie: You say that now, but when enough time has passed, and you're -- you're still unsatisfied --

Caleb: Look at me. Look at me, look in my eyes. Why can't you see this? I love you. I love you with fangs or without. Don't you get it? It's you I can't live without.

Livvie: Yeah, I want to believe that so much, I do.

Caleb: Then believe it. Look, if we never feed on each other again, you're still part of me, and I'm part of you. We were meant to be together, nothing's going to change that, not ever. Not ever.

Livvie: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

Caleb: It's ok. It's ok. You're just scared, but you got no reason to be.

Livvie: I am. I'm scared to death. I'm scared that you're going to stay mortal and I'm going to end up all alone.

Caleb: That'll never happen. I'll never leave you. Not in this life or any other. I love you.

Livvie: I love you.

Caleb: I love you.

Rafe: Let her go. I said let her go.

Joshua: Let her go, Frank. It's not as if she's going to go anywhere.

Rafe: Yeah, that's what you think.

Alison: Rafe, don't! Please don't fight them.

Joshua: Why don't you listen to the lady, slayer? You are ridiculously outnumbered.

Rafe: You think I really care about that?

Joshua: This is all very noble, boy, and very heroic, but it's also getting to be pretty tiresome. Why don't you just go?

Rafe: Oh, right, yeah, ok.

Joshua: You'll have to accept Alison is where she belongs, and she is where she is going to stay.

Rafe: Over my dead body.

Joshua: Naturally, that can be arranged. In fact, I'd prefer it that way.

Rafe: Well, I'm not afraid to die.

Alison: Rafe, don't do this, please. I'm serious.

Rafe: You're not getting Alison, and not without a fight.

Joshua: What do you think, Alison? Should we fight?

Alison: No. no, I think Rafe should go and do as you say.

Rafe: No. That's not an option.

Alison: No, it's the only option. You have to do it, ok? You see Joshua's already won and -- and you've lost.

Rafe: No, I don't accept that!

Alison: You have to. It's over. We're over.

Ian: Give me a sign, would you? Some kind of clue as to what I'm supposed to do here. How can I help Lucy if I can't even trust myself to be around her?

Lucy: Water --

Lucy: Doc.

Kevin: Hello, Lucy.

Lucy: What are you doing here?

Kevin: How are you feeling?

Lucy: I feel better.

Kevin: You had a blood transfusion. I heard that went well.

Lucy: Yes, they always seem to make me feel better, more like myself.

Kevin: Speaking of yourself, you haven't called me "doc" in a while.

Lucy: I'm sorry. I know how much you hate that.

Kevin: Ah. That was then. Hearing it just now made me realize how much I missed it.

Caleb: You do believe me, that I'll never leave you, right?

Livvie: I believe you.

Caleb: The day will come when I'll know the pleasure of satisfying your hunger again. We will have all that.

Livvie: Yeah, someday.

Caleb: If that's going to happen, you got to help me. You got to help me fight.

Livvie: I'm willing to do anything, I just don't know where to begin.

Caleb: It's all about the antidote. Everything's tied into finding the antidote.

Livvie: Ok, but how do we even know that there is a real antidote?

Caleb: There has to be one. There has to be one, or none of this makes any sense.

Livvie: What do you mean?

Caleb: When you went to Joshua, and you convinced him to give you the antidote in exchange for Alison --

Livvie: Yeah, that's -- that's when he found out it was gone.

Caleb: Right, how did he -- how did he react when -- when he found out someone had taken it?

Livvie: He was beside himself. I mean, he -- he was furious.

Caleb: That means what Rafe took must've been real.

Livvie: I get it -- or else he wouldn't have been so upset.

Caleb: There's a real antidote, there's one out there somewhere.

Livvie: Ok, so how are we going to find it? I mean, maybe Rafe --

Caleb: No. No, when Rafe found out you'd give up Alison, the punishment was destroying the vial.

Livvie: Oh. Which means he had to have thought it contained the real antidote.

Caleb: It had to be someone else. Someone -- someone must've switched it on him without him knowing.

Livvie: Yeah, but who?

Caleb: Someone he trusted.

Livvie: Someone who wanted me to kill you. Lucy.

Caleb: Lucy.

Rafe: Alison, you don't know what you're saying.

Alison: No, I -- I do know what I'm saying. Joshua has won, and we have lost. You need to accept that.

Rafe: No!

Joshua: Leave them be.

Rafe: I won't let you do this.

Alison: You have to.

Rafe: No, I'm going to get you out of here.

Alison: No.

Rafe: I will, ok?

Alison: No, you can't. You can't. It's too late for me, but it's not too late for you. Joshua, I promise you, if you let Rafe go, I will stop fighting you and I will -- I'll consent to being your wife.

Rafe: No, no, no, no, no.

Alison: I promise, I promise!

Rafe: No, I won't let you do it.

Alison: I have to.

Rafe: No --

Alison: I have to! It is the only way that I can keep Jamal and my grandmother safe. I can keep others from being turned. Most importantly, I can make sure that you're safe and alive.

Rafe: I don't care about that!

Alison: Well, I do! I do. Your life was stolen from you and you fought so hard to get a second chance, and I want you to have that second chance at life.

Rafe: And I will, I will -- with you.

Alison: You won't. He will kill you. I promise he will.

Rafe: That's a risk I'm going to have to take, all right?

Alison: No, it's not just a risk. It's not. Rafe, you're strong and you're powerful, and you're a slayer and you are the only one left. Everyone's going to need you because there's more of them every single day. In the end, he'll end up killing you and he will have me anyway. If I stay, then you won't have to die.

Rafe: Well, that's fine, ok? I'll die! I will die before I give you up to that monster! Do you understand that?

Alison: No, no. Rafe --

Frank: Sorry, Alison, it looks like he's made his decision.

Alison: No --

Frank: Come on, Rafe.

Alison: No, don't. No -- Joshua! Stop it.

Joshua: Let him go.

Frank: Joshua, come on. You're not going to just let him go?

Joshua: See the slayer out, and don't harm him. That's a direct order, Franklin.

Alison: You swear? Do you promise you won't hurt him and he'll be free to go?

Joshua: If he stays away, I will let him be. You have my word on that.

Rafe: I won't stay away. You can throw me out of here, but as long as Alison's here, I'll keep coming back.

Alison: You'll just be wasting your time and your life, Rafe, because I won't go with you.

Rafe: No, you don't mean that.

Alison: I do. I need you to go, and don't ever come back here.

Rafe: No, but --

Alison: If you love me, you will go. You'll live your life without me, ok?

Rafe: No, no, no. No, I -- I don't have a life without you! I --

Alison: You don't have a life with me. Rafe, I love you. Goodbye.

Rafe: Alison --

Alison: Just go.

Rafe: No. No -- get off me! Don't let them do this! Alison, don't let them do this! I can't let you do this, Alison!

Elizabeth: Hey, did you -- did you talk to Lucy?

Kevin: Yeah.

Elizabeth: How is she?

Kevin: She's sick. She's very sick.

Elizabeth: I'm so sorry.

Kevin: I know Lucy's always been so strong. She seemed unstopable, but now --

Elizabeth: Well, I'm sure she'll get better.

Kevin: You know, we didn't fight. We didn't try to hurt each other at all. We just -- just talked.

Elizabeth: Good.

Kevin: Thank you -- for bringing her in.

Elizabeth: Well, I'm glad I could be of help.

Kevin: This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for him.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I know that you and Ian don't exactly see eye to eye.

Kevin: That's one way to put it.

Elizabeth: But I do have to tell you I was very glad that he was here -- for Lucy's sake.

Kevin: What?

Elizabeth: Well, you should've seen the state that she was in. She was so weak she could barely talk. Yet the whole way over here, all she kept doing was calling out for him, crying out his name, begging me to find him. Huh. I had no idea how much she loved him until now.

Kevin: Yeah, well, then I guess there's no reason for me to stick around, is there? Shall we?

Caleb: For me? Lovely.

Ian: Where's Lucy? What have you done with her?

Caleb: Lucy's fine. She's in good hands. However, if you'd like her to stay that way, you'll give me that antidote.

Lucy: What do you want?

Livvie: Like you don't know.

Lucy: You can't bite me. I'm a slayer.

Livvie: Yeah, that's true. But from what I hear, you're not much of a slayer anymore and I not only have fangs, but thanks to you and Ian, they're poisonous. Deadly and poisonous.

Lucy: Ok. What kind of crazy scheme have you concocted now?

Livvie: I told you not to speak to me. We'll just have to wait for Caleb.

Lucy: You know, if someone were to give out prizes for the person most likely to self-destruct in my lifetime, I think that prize would go right to you.

Livvie: Let me explain to you how this works, Lucy. You're the hostage. You are at my mercy. I don't think it's a pretty smart idea to insult me right now. So why don't you just keep quiet?

Lucy: I have a smarter idea for your sake. You leave now, and we'll forget this stupid kidnapping idea of yours.

Livvie: Oh, now it's all coming back to me -- how you never shut up, how you always get your way, and how you really sucked at being a stepmother.

Lucy: You're not exactly the prize of our family, are you?

Livvie: Hmm. That's right. Always putting me down.

Lucy: Come on, look at me. I'm the person who always, always tried with you. Don't you remember that? But what you're doing is you just keeping getting in your own way, yes.

Livvie: No, Lucy, you're getting in my way.

Lucy: I want you to back off.

Livvie: Yeah, well, I think it's time to end this little discussion.

Lucy: And I'm warning you -- stay away from me.

Livvie: What are you going to do? You don't exactly have all of your slayer powers right now, and you are just so annoying. I say I kill you now and get it over with.

Alison: Just get him out. Just get him out.

Rafe: No. No! Alison! no! Don't let him do this! Alison! Alison!

Joshua: You made the right choice, my dear. You just saved his life.

Stay tuned for scenes from the next "Port Charles: Desire."

On the next "Port Charles" --

Rafe: Rafe Kovich has officially retired.

Joshua: I shall depend on you to give me insight into the great mysteries of love.

Caleb: I'm done talking. No antidote, no Lucy.
