Lucy: I'm very glad you're helping Ian with the final arrangements. I just know he couldn't do it by himself, you know. We're fine. No, I'm going to stay here, ok, and just be with Christina. Yeah, don't worry. I love you, too. Ta.

[Doorbell rings]

Lucy: Victor. Oh, hi. Oh.

Victor: I just can't believe Eve is gone.

Lucy: I know. I know. Come in. Come in.

Victor: I don't know what to do with myself. Mary keeps baking, and we've sent over food from the Recovery Room.

Lucy: And, you know, Ian really appreciates that. It's been great.

Victor: I just feel as if I want to do something, something to honor Eve.

Lucy: Well, that's terrific, but have you thought of anything? Do you have something in mind?

Victor: Yeah, yeah. There's the charity auction coming up at General Hospital.

Lucy: Oh. Do you know I completely forgot about that?

Victor: Now, what if this year was the most successful one ever? In Eve's honor?

Lucy: You're a genius. That's perfect. Oh, Eve would love that. That means so much to her, and Ian would really appreciate it. You're so smart!

Victor: I knew that's what you'd say. Everybody feels that way.

Lucy: That's great.

Victor: I've gotten so many items already, I'm running out of places to store them, and today, this morning, in fact, Amanda Barrington sent over this humongous shipment.

Lucy: Oh, well, that's great. I'm sure she's very --

Victor: Thank you, that's wonderful!

Lucy: Generous.

Victor: Come on, guys! Bring it on in!

Lucy: "Come on --"

Victor: Thank you.

Lucy: "Come on, guys?" "Thank --"

Victor: Oh, thank you so much.

Lucy: "Thank you for --" oh, my goodness!

Victor: Put it over here. Put it right over there.

Lucy: Hey, Jamal!

Jamal: Hey, Luce.

Lucy: What is going on?

Jamal: This is Ricky.

Ricky: Yeah, hi.

Lucy: Oh, hi, Ricky.

Ricky: Where do we put this?

Lucy: Nice to meet you. Well -- well --

Jamal: Right here?

Victor: Right there.

Lucy: Well, wait, no, no, no --

Victor: Just set them right there.

Lucy: Victor, what are you doing?

Victor: That's terrific, and here's a little money for you, and you bring in the rest, ok?

Ricky: All right.

Lucy: But --

Victor: Thank you.

Lucy: Nice seeing you, but, Jamal --

Jamal: Hey. Bye.

Lucy: Oh, ok. Bye. Oh -- oh -- what is going on?

Mary: Darling, you almost forgot this.

Amanda: Alison. What in the world are you doing? Don't tell me you spent the night here.

Alison: No, but I might as well have.

Amanda: Oh, don't be ridiculous.

Alison: Me being ridiculous? Who locked herself in her room last night and wouldn't talk to me?

Amanda: Look, there's nothing more to discuss on the matter.

Alison: "The matter?" Nana, you told me that my great-great-great-grandmother was a witch.

Amanda: Stop it, Alison. I told you the matter is closed.

Alison: Then can you just -- can you just please tell me where did you take her things?

Amanda: I'm going to do nothing of the sort. Everything that woman touched is dangerous.

Alison: But I don't understand what you're talking about.

Amanda: Forget about her. You have no idea what you're getting into if you don't.

Alison: Oh. I'm sorry, Nana. I can't forget about her. And I won't.

Jack: Wow. What's all this?

Livvie: Well, this cool old candle Alison gave me -- it belonged to one of her ancestors, and I wanted to light it in honor of Eve, and then I kind of got carried away thinking about her and lit every single candle in the house.

Jack: Hmm.

Livvie: What do you think?

Jack: I think it looks beautiful.

Livvie: Ok. Well, now, for the final touch.

Jack: Oh, oh, hold on. Let me take a look at this thing.

Livvie: What's wrong?

Jack: Oh, I don't know. Are you sure this thing's safe to light? I mean, it's kind of old.

Livvie: Yeah. Alison had one lit at her grandmother's. I'm sure it'll be fine.

Jack: All right.

Livvie: There we go.

Jamal: Oh.

Ricky: Hey. Look, check this out, man.

Jamal: Oh, man, I can't believe you snaked those. Those people are my friends, man. What's wrong with you?

Ricky: Come on, man. That stuff was donated? It's, like, free.

Jamal: What are you doing?

Ricky: Well, I'm going to check to see if there's any markings on it, you know, see how old it is, see if it's worth anything.

Jamal: Unbelievable. Huh.

Ricky: Look, I told you, I know what I'm doing.

Jamal: No, no, I'm talking about the scar on your face. I mean, how could it just disappear like that?

Ricky: I guess I'm just a fast healer.

Jamal: No, you ain't no fast healer, man. That's some kind of a -- some kind of a miracle or something.

Ricky: You believe in miracles?

Jamal: I don't know. But whatever kind of lucky streak you're on, I'm just glad to be riding on your coattails, you know?

Ricky: Hey, look, it was Casey who saved us from that fire, all right? It wasn't me.

Jamal: Yeah, I know. She came for you, not me. That's why i don't get why she bailed. I mean, I appreciate what she did and all, but she was out there. I mean, she was just really freaky, man. I'm kind of glad --

Ricky: Hey, hey! You ever talk about Casey like that, all right, or your face is going to need the miracle.

Lucy: Oh. Victor, I keep trying to tell you, I really -- I am sorry. I cannot keep all this stuff.

Victor: Well, it won't be here very long.

Lucy: No, you don't understand. I have too much stuff already. I've got Christina's stuff, and I've got Serena, you know? Oh, and when we're all here, it's a lot of stuff, not to mention the fact Christina's three. You know, she gets into every -- everything now, like those candles. I don't know, she might take a bite out of them or something. I can't do it. I'm sorry.

Mary: Oh, my gosh. You know, we didn't even think of that.

Victor: All I could think of was I was running out of places to put the stuff.

Mary: Well, we'll just find another place.

Lucy: Oh, thanks. I really apologize. It's just there's a lot of stuff going on right now, you know?

Victor: Oh, no! We totally understand.

Mary: How is Ian?

Lucy: Oh, Ian. I think he's in more pain than any person deserves, you know, but he is trying to be strong. He is staying strong for Eve, for Danny. But I keep telling him, I just -- I know Eve's up there looking down watching over them.

Victor: That memorial service tomorrow is not going to be easy.

Mary: Oh.

Lucy: No, it's not going to be, is it? Well, but I'm going to be there for him, and you're going to be. Everyone has to be there for him whether he wants us or not.

Mary: He is one stubborn man.

Lucy: You're not kidding. I think he's trying to absorb all of our pain for us, but I don't want him to do that. We need to be there for him.

Victor: We'll all be there for him.

Mary: Mm-hmm.

Lucy: Ok.

Mary: He and Danny will not go through this alone.

Lucy: Good. Thanks.

Victor: Well, let's get this stuff out of your way.

Mary: Oh, yeah, right.

Lucy: What are all these things really?

Victor: Oh.

Mary: Well, it's just, I guess, a bunch of stuff that was sitting in Amanda's attic.

Victor: Well, you know, probably never even been touched -- you know, the many forgotten purchases of the wealthy?

Lucy: You know what? I -- I think this candle is almost exactly like the one that I found on Ian's doorstep last night.

Victor: Well, they're clearly handmade and very unusual, I think.

Lucy: Do you know why they're here, why there are so many of them?

Victor: No idea. Amanda just had her movers drop everything off.

Lucy: You know what's really weird is that when I first looked at them, it looked like they were just all the same. But if you really look at them, each one's sort of uniquely different.

Jack: So, tired of the simple life yet?

Livvie: Never.

Jack: Hmm.

Livvie: You know, I wish we could slow things down for everyone because life changes way too fast.

Jack: Yeah, no kidding. I was thinking of Ian. You know, I don't know what I would do if I lost you.

[Knock on door]

Livvie: Are you expecting anyone?

Jack: No, no. I don't know who that could be. Maybe it's Chris or something.

Alison: Hi.

Jack: Alison.

Alison hi.

Jack: Hey.

Alison: Hi. Hey, I really need your help.

Livvie: What's wrong?

Alison: My nana, she gave away all of Rebecca's things.

Jack: Rebecca?

Livvie: You know, the ancestor I told you about. You mean all those candles?

Alison: Yeah, yeah, and the portrait and everything, and she gave them away to charity and she doesn't -- she doesn't want me to find them.

Jack: Well, hey, yeah, we'll be glad to help, but what if we go to your grandmother and ask her what charity it was and tell them it was an accident?

Alison: No, but it wasn't an accident. She gave them away on purpose. She doesn't want me to find them.

Livvie: Why not?

Alison: Because she thinks that they're dangerous.

Livvie: Dangerous? How could a few old things be dangerous?

Alison: Because my grandma thinks that Rebecca was a witch.

Jack: What?

Alison: Yeah. It's just -- it's really just a family superstition, you know. But I don't want it to stop me from finding her things.

Jack: Well, why are these things so important to you?

Alison: Because -- because they remind me of Rafe. You know, he's the whole reason why I started thinking about her again and --

Jack: Again?

Alison: Yeah. I used to spend a lot of time with her when I was young. I talked to her portrait. It's a really long story, but I really need to find her stuff, so will you guys help me, please?

Jack: Yeah. Yeah, we'll --

Livvie: No. No.

Jack: Livvie?

Alison: What?

Livvie: If that woman was a witch, we don't want to have anything to do with it, Alison.

Victor: We'll just move everything out of your way.

Lucy: Uh-oh. Wait, wait -- stop. Stop.

Victor: What?

Lucy: You can't go. Christina. You know, she drew these pictures. If she knew her grandparents were here and you didn't get these pictures, she would kill me.

Mary: Aw!

Lucy: I'd never hear the end of it. I'm going to go get them.

Mary: Oh, we'd love to see them.

Victor: Oh, of course. Bring them down.

Lucy: You know what? She fell asleep. Otherwise, I would have brought her down, but she's sleeping while I was reading, and -- you got to see these. You guys, you don't look anything like yourselves, but they're very sweet.

[Mary laughs]

Victor: Thank you.

Mary: Sweet.

Victor: We'll just --

Mary: Oh. Oh, darling, here. Here's one right here. Oh, wow, that's a pretty color.

[Mary gasps]

Mary: Wouldn't that look great in our bedroom?

Victor: Sold to the prettiest bidder.

Mary: You're kidding?

Victor: No, of course not, my darling.

Mary: Oh. Thank you. And I bet it smells divine.

Victor: Well, let's find out.

Mary: Oh.

Victor: The eyes may surmise, but the nose knows.

Mary: Let's see. Oh. Oh.

Victor: Have I told you lately --

Mary: Mmm.

Victor: That you are one hot, sexy babe?

Mary: Oh, and you -- you are -- you are one studly hunk of a guy.

Victor: I am having some very, very bad thoughts.

Mary: Good. Good -- oh! Mmm! Mmm! Mmm. Oh, Victor. Oh, victor!

Victor: Oh!

Mary: Oh, my God! Oh, it's so hot in here. Oh, darling. Oh!

Jamal: Chill out, man. I didn't know you and Casey were that tight, all right?

Ricky: We were, all right? By the end, we were.

Jamal: Ok, I didn't know.

Ricky: Nobody did. And she was cool. She was sweet. She doesn't deserve to be called a freak.

Jamal: You're right, ok? I'm sorry. I am, all right? I -- I didn't know her like you did.

Ricky: No, you didn't.

Jamal: Besides, what do I know about relationships, right? You really miss her, don't you?

Ricky: Yeah. I really do.

Livvie: I can't believe you would come here and ask us to help you find out about a witch, after everything we've been through?

Alison: Livvie, it's -- I told you it's just probably some sort of family myth.

Livvie: Yeah, but you don't know, do you? I mean, you don't know anything about this woman.

Jack: Livvie, please, all right?

Alison: No. Actually, Jack, it's ok. Livvie, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I just want to find my stuff.

Jack: She's not asking us to do anything dangerous.

Livvie: Yeah, but didn't you guys learn anything about Caleb? I mean, you don't know what this could mean.

Alison: Rebecca is not Caleb. Ok, and anything that might have happened was in the past. It was a long time ago. She's dead.

Livvie: Dead doesn't mean anything, Alison. You know that better than anyone. So please, please don't dig into this. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Alison: Ahem.

Jack: Hey, will you just give us a minute, please?

Alison: Yeah, of course.

Jack: Yeah.

Alison: I'll be right outside.

Alison's Voice: So this one day I was upstairs in the attic, and I was -- I was staring at the painting. I would stare at it for longer and longer, and the more that I did, the more real that it became, you know, until she actually came out of the painting and she sat down right beside me, right -- right then and there, right there in the attic. And we sat there and we talked for hours, just about random things, you know? She was such a good friend. That's so pathetic, isn't it?

Rafe's Voice: No, no.

Alison's Voice: I was such a loser.

Rafe's Voice: No.

Alison's Voice: I had no friends. That's why I had to go find one in a painting.

Rafe's Voice: I don't think it's pathetic at all.

Alison: Rafe, you helped me find my old friend again. I can't lose her now. Please, I won't lose the both of you.

Jack: I know we have horrible memories of Caleb, but this is not the same thing.

Livvie: How can you say that?

Jack: Because Alison's not looking for trouble.

Livvie: Well, I think she is.

Jack: No! No, she's just looking for something that's important to her.

Livvie: Oh, my God. You're going to help her, aren't you?

Jack: Livvie, Alison's hurting. And for whatever reason, this whole thing is helping her sort through whatever happened with Rafe.

Livvie: Yeah, well, she shouldn't have been with Rafe to begin with.

Jack: But she was. And she's got to deal with this and move on, and this is a way we can help her do that.

Livvie: Jack, if you walk out that door, you could be bringing a lot of evil back into our lives, and I won't let it happen.

Victor: Oh!

Mary: Oh, my God!

Lucy: She's up from her nap! Oh, my -- oh, my goodness. Excuse me! Grandma and Grandpa, what are you doing?

Victor: Uh --

Lucy: What are you --

Victor: Uh --

Lucy: I can see what you're doing, but why are you doing it here, on my couch, in front of your granddaughter? What are you doing?

Victor: Yes --

Mary: We thought she was sleeping.

Victor: Yes.

Lucy: Well, she's awake, you know?

Mary: I'm so sorry.

Lucy: Oh, get your shoe, Grandma.

Mary: Thank you, dear.

Lucy: Oh, my --

Mary: Hi, sweetheart.

Lucy: Say hi, Grandma!

Christina: Hi, Grandma.

Lucy: Hi, Grandpa!

Christina: Hi, Grandpa.

Victor: We'll just say goodbye.

Lucy: Goodbye, Grandma and Grandpa.

Christina: Goodbye, Grandma and Grandpa.

Victor: Goodbye -- oh!

Lucy: See ya! Oh, my --

Mary: See you.

Lucy: What are you doing? Oh. What -- wait a minute. What is this for?

Victor: The candle.

Lucy: No candle is worth 50 bucks.

Victor: This one is.

Lucy: Victor! Oh -- don't -- don't leave without this big thing taking up all this room!

Victor: All right, all right, right.

Lucy: Oh. Wow.

Victor: Goodbye.

Lucy: Ok. Say bye, Grandpa.

Victor: Goodbye, Christina.

Christina: Bye, Grandpa.

Lucy: Bye.

Victor: Bye.

Lucy: You know, I -- I think they were playing tag or maybe leap frog, you know? Or -- or -- checkers. Huh. Hey.

Jamal: Hey, I forgot to plug the meter. I'll be right back.

[Door closes]

Casey's Voice: Goodbye, Ricky. I love you.

Ricky's Voice: Casey --

Ricky: I'd give anything to have you back, Casey. "Desire." Well, here's to you, sweetie. I will never forget you.

Ricky: Casey! Hey!

Jamal: Whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you doing?

Ricky: Did you see her?

Jamal: See who?

Ricky: Casey! She was just out here!

Jamal: No, I didn't see anybody, and i especially didn't see Casey.

Ricky: Jamal, are you sure?

Jamal: Yes, I'm sure. Are you sure you're not imagining it?

Jack: Alison needs her friends to help her get through this.

Livvie: Yeah, jack, and I will help her. I will gladly help her get over Rafe, but not like this.

Jack: Hey, we can't let everything that happened with Caleb make us superstitious about everything.

Livvie: It's witchcraft, Jack! That's not too far removed from vampires if you ask me.

Jack: Oh, well, it just sounds like her grandma's hung up on some family legend thing.

Livvie: Well, that's enough for me. And why can't you just leave this alone?

Jack: Sweetie, look, I'm only going to help her find a few things.

Livvie: Yes, Jack, and I am asking you not to.

Jack: Come on, don't make a big deal out of this. It's not that big of a deal.

Livvie: Well, it is to me. I think you're asking for trouble.

Jack: Oh, you got to be kidding me.

Livvie: You know what? Forget it. I see your mind's made up already. Just forget it.

Jack: No, no, listen to me. Alison doesn't have anybody right now. I can't turn my back on her. She was there for me, and you know that.

Livvie: Jack, go! Just go. I know you're going to do it anyway no matter what I say, so go, leave.

Jack: Oh, boy.

Alison: Hey.

Jack: Hey. You ready?

Alison: Yeah. Where's Livvie?

Jack: She -- she just doesn't really want to come.

Alison: Jack, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset her at all.

Jack: No, no, no, no. It just brings up some bad memories, that's all.

Alison: God, I'm so stupid. I should never have told her what my grandmother said. I mean, I wasn't trying to scare her at all. It's just that, Jack, I really miss Rafe. I don't want to cause any problems or anything, I don't.

Jack: Hey, hey, look, everything's going to be ok.

Alison: Ok.

Mary: Ah! I feel like a teenager again!

Victor: My libido is definitely 17.

Mary: Oh. Do you want to continue this at home?

Victor: How fast does your car go?

[Mary chuckles]

Mary: You're going to leave all this stuff in the truck here?

Victor: I'll call a couple of bird-watching buddies to take care of it, unless you'd rather wait.

Mary: What's the speed limit these days?

Victor: Come on.

Mary: Come on!

>> Stay tuned for scenes from the next "Port Charles: Superstition."

>> On the next "Port Charles" --

Alison: Hi.

Jack: Any luck on finding that stuff yet?

Alison: No, no, not yet, but -- but I won't give up. I can't.

Livvie: You can't?

Alison: I won't.

Ian: Someone left a candle outside of our apartment. I lit the candle, and -- and everything changed.
