Lucy: Hey.

Kevin: Hey.

Lucy: You never came to bed last night.

Kevin: Yeah, well, I wanted to help Ian plan the memorial service. Plus, there's -- there's so much paperwork to do for the county. I just wanted to take some of that off of his shoulders.

Lucy: Yeah, I know. Hey -- you are the very, very, very best man I know. But while you're so busy taking care of everybody else, oh, Doc, who's taking care of you?

Kevin: I'm fine, Lucy.

Lucy: No. You are not fine. I'm not fine. Everybody is not fine. For God's sakes, Doc, Eve is dead.

[Door opens]

Jack: Hey. I thought you might want some company.

Chris: Sure. We're having a party, bud. How about a stiff one? Hmm?

Jack: Before breakfast?

Chris: I'm sure it's happy hour somewhere in the world.

Jack: Yeah.

Chris: No, no, no, not there. That chair belongs to the lady. Here.

Chris: Doctor's special. One or two olives?

Jack: I really don't think I --

Chris: Several. You get several. Here you go. Come on, man. You can't stick around if you're not willing to play.

[Danny cries]

Ian: It's all right, I'll get him. Ok. It's ok. It's all right. I got you. Come here. It's all right, it's all right. Stop crying. It's ok. See, I got you. It's all right. You want your mommy, don't you? Yeah. So do I. So do I. It's ok. Don't cry, ok?

Alison: Good morning, Rebecca. Hi. I slept downstairs last night in my old bed. I just didn't want to go back to Lucy's without Rafe, you know? It was just sort of a little too much. And plus, you know, we spent some time here, which was really sweet. So I just sort of wanted to stay close to everything -- oh, my God. I blew this out last night. I know I did. If this burned all night, then how come none of the wax is burned down?

[Captioning made possible by ABC, Inc., and SOAPnet]

Kevin: I know that Eve is dead. That's why I didn't sleep all night, ok?

Lucy: Ok, that's a relief. At least you're --

Kevin: Because there's so much to do. Now, look, I promised Ian that we would come by this morning. I think we should probably pick him up some coffee, maybe something to eat because I doubt he's thinking about food.

Lucy: What are you doing? Why won't you just to talk to me?

Kevin: All right. Ok. Ok. Go ahead.

Lucy: Ok, fine. You want me to talk? I'll talk. I -- I am so angry that a person so young and vital had to die. And I'm -- I'm so sad that that little boy doesn't have a mother anymore. I'm so sad for Danny. And I guess I'm feeling a little bit guilty because all the bad things that Eve did to me, I would retaliate every time, you know? I had to get her. And I'm so glad that at least we had the chance to put some of that stuff in the past before she died. Ok, I said what I feel, a little bit of it. Can't you give me a little bit back? What are you feeling?

Kevin: I'm feeling that you should drop it.

Lucy: Oh, my God! Doc! Please. You were married to her. She was your wife.

Kevin: No, no, she was married to Ian. Now, drop it, Lucy.

Alison: Oh, my God. Ow! Ow, ow. Ouch. This is real.

[Knock on door]

Alison: Uh -- just a second! Just one minute! Don't want to catch that on fire. Come in!

Livvie: Hi.

Alison: Oh, Livvie, I thought you were my nana. Hey.

Livvie: I -- I tried you at your house last night, and Rafe wasn't there, either.

Alison: I know. That's because he's gone.

Livvie: Alison, I'm really sorry.

Alison: Are you?

Livvie: Yeah, of course I am. I don't like seeing you unhappy.

Alison: Good, because, you know, I could really use some support right now.

Livvie: Actually, I -- I came over for another reason. My father called me this morning. There's been an accident.

Alison: Who was hurt?

Livvie: You know how icy the roads have been lately?

Alison: Livvie, who was hurt?

Livvie: Not hurt. Eve Lambert was killed.

Alison: Oh, my God. She was killed?

Livvie: Yeah.

Alison: Oh, my God. She was the fifth chair.

Livvie: What are you talking about?

Alison: Rafe, he -- he told me that when he was supposed to go back, that he was supposed to help somebody cross over. And there was supposed to be an empty chair waiting, and they were supposed to sit in that, the fifth chair. He thought that it was supposed to be me and that I was supposed to die.

Livvie: Rafe told you that?

Alison: Yeah, no, he told me lots of stuff. Oh, my God. Livvie, I need -- I need to go see Ian and tell him that I know what it's like to lose somebody that you love --

Livvie: Hey, no, no, no. Alison, you can't be serious. You're comparing your loss with Ian's?

Alison: Well, I guess you just wouldn't understand --

Livvie: Have you lost it completely, Alison? You've had this fantasy boyfriend for, like, five minutes, and you have the nerve to think that it's like Ian losing his wife or Daniel losing his mother. Now, that is sick.

[Phone rings]

Ian: Well, I don't know where it went. It's a little box your mom gave me. She said not to open it before the honeymoon, and I don't know where it is. I put it down -- maybe not her words exactly, but --

Ian: How about up here?

Eve's Voice: Leave a message for Eve, Ian, or Daniel. Bye.

[Answering machine beeps]

Colleen: Ian? It's Colleen. I was wondering if there's anything you might need. Anything at all?

Ian: No, it's all right, Red. We got it covered.

Colleen: I'm so sorry for what you're going through, Ian.

Ian: Me and the boy, we got it covered. We're on a mission.

Colleen: I was very fond of Eve.

Ian: Ok --

Colleen: We all were.

Ian: It's got to be here somewhere, right, boy? Unless it grew legs.

Colleen: So please call and let me know if there's --

Ian: It didn't just grow legs, did it? We'll find it. It's ok. It's ok.

Colleen: And kiss that beautiful baby for me.

[Answering machine beeps]

[knock on door]

Ian: I wonder why people can't just leave us alone, give us a little respect. What do you think?

Kevin: Ian, it's us.

Ian: Hi. I can't find it.

Lucy: Find what? Find what? Hi, Danny. Come here, sweet pea.

Ian: Eve gave me this box that, you know -- it's a little box. I put it somewhere. I don't know where it is. I think she trusted with me something. I --

Kevin: Don't worry. We'll help you find it. We'll help you find it.

Livvie: You hit me, Alison.

Alison: I know. I'm so sorry. I just -- you made me so mad. I'm so sorry.

Livvie: Why, because I don't think you losing Rafe isn't the same as Eve dying?

Alison: Listen to me, ok? It doesn't matter who hurts the most. Livvie, pain is pain. And whether or not that you think mine is important or not is no matter to me.

Livvie: Ok --

Alison: It's just that my heart is breaking, ok?

Livvie: Ok, listen -- I'm sorry. Ok? I'm sorry.

Alison: Please don't -- don't trash my relationship with Rafe, ok?

Livvie: Ok. I'm sorry, but, like, we're both upset. Everyone --

Alison: I know.

Livvie: So what is all this stuff?

Alison: It's my great-great-great-grandmother Rebecca. You know? She actually made all of these candles and stuff and --

Livvie: Wow, they're really beautiful.

Alison: Actually, I lit this one for Rafe. I'm sure you probably think that's really stupid, though.

Livvie: No. Alison, listen, I'm sorry. It's just that you are my best friend and I love you and I don't want to see you hurt. It's just that it seems like every time we turn around, somebody is losing someone, and it hurts.

Alison: I know. I know.

Chris: She was such a sucker for me. She would always tell herself, "No way. No more martinis with you, Chris Ramsey. No way." And I'd always come up with some kind of stupid excuse to, you know, to get her to drink with me. "Hey, it's Tuesday. How about a cocktail?" Or, "Hey, I didn't wake up with a hangover. Let's drink." It was classic. You would have loved her.

Jack: Yeah, I know I would have.

Chris: You know I actually tried to get her to marry me?

Jack: And she said no? It's kind of hard to believe.

Chris: I should have pushed it. You know, pressed a little harder. Who knows? Maybe she'd still --

Jack: Chris, don't go there.

Chris: "Don't go there." Ok, girlfriend, I won't go there.

Jack: Hey, you know what? Why don't you let me take you home.

Chris: Oh, no, I'm good.

Jack: No, no, no. I don't want you to be alone right now.

Chris: I'm fine, really.

Jack: You sure?

Chris: Yeah.

Jack: Well, I'll call you later and check in with you. Ok?

Chris: Yeah, you got it.

Chris: Besides, I'm not alone. I'm with my best friend.

Lucy: Did you find it?

Ian: It's not in the bedroom, either.

Lucy: You will find it. Maybe you left it at the hospital.

Ian: Yeah, maybe I did. Maybe I did.

Kevin: You've got a lot of help right now, Ian. Victor and Mary will be sending a week's worth of meals over from the restaurant. And Lucy and I will make sure that someone gets over here every day to help with Danny.

Ian: Palmer's Beach. I drove all night to watch the sunrise.

Kevin: That's quite a drive.

Ian: Oh, it was quite a sunrise. She didn't want me taking this picture. She was all embarrassed, but I couldn't take my eyes off her. Isn't it funny how somebody can be so alive one minute and then just --

Lucy: She's not gone.

Ian: Yeah. Enough with the platitudes. I can't handle it.

Lucy: Maybe not, but I need to say it. I don't think Eve's gone at all. I think she's up there somewhere looking down right now on you and Danny.

Ian: The only comfort I could have right now is to hold my wife in my arms. If you can't help me with that, then let's -- let's not have that conversation, ok? Ok.

Livvie: You know, this one is really beautiful.

Alison: Yeah. You know, blue's your color. You should take that one.

Livvie: Oh, my God. Thank you.

Alison: Oh, you're welcome. Watch out, your hat.

Livvie: Oh, gosh. You know what? I have to -- I have to meet Jack.

Alison: Oh, right, I forgot. I'm sorry to keep you.

Livvie: Call me if you need anything.

Alison: Livvie, I'm so sorry about Eve. And I'm really sorry --

Livvie: Forget it. Ok?

Alison: Ok.

Livvie: Ok.

Alison: Ok.

Livvie: Call me.

Alison: Ok. I will. Bye.

Livvie: Bye.

Alison: Oh, my God. It was Eve. After all that time of worrying, it was -- it was Eve. I can't believe it. God, I can just picture you. You're both up there right now. You're just probably cracking up. You are so lucky, eve, to have Rafe up there in heaven to help you. That must make it so much easier, you know? Oh, but Ian. Oh, my God. This is not going to be easy for him at all. Oh, I forgot -- I forgot to check to see what Livvie's candle said. It's probably, like, "comfort" or "beauty" or "strength" or something. Where is that one? Where is it? Oh, here it is. She didn't take the "comfort." Oh, good. This one. Ok, let's see here, candle. Let's see if you can work your magic for somebody who really needs it right now. Ok.

Lucy: It's a candle. Wow. Oh, it smells wonderful.

Ian: Who's it from?

Lucy: I don't know. I don't see a card. Someone must care a great deal about you.

Ian: Ok.

Lucy: We'll call you, ok? Ok.

Ian: Ok.

Lucy: Hey, could you just look at me for a minute?

Kevin: Lucy, I'm fine. Really, I am.

Lucy: Doc, if you're fine, that means you're lying to me or you're made of stone. Please. Would you please, please just look at me? What are you doing? Are you being strong for me? Are you being stoic to somehow protect me? I don't need that, Doc. I need you to let go. You loved Eve, I know that. And she changed your life. She changed all of our lives. We owe her this. So please, will you please let go and just grieve? For me? Please grieve with me. Doc, please.

Ian: I can imagine you walking through the door right now. Can you do that for me?

Ian: I looked on this couch a hundred times.

Ian's Voice: "To remember the lives you've nurtured instead of the ones you've lost. All my love, Eve."

Ian: I can feel you now.

[Alison gasps]

Alison: Oh, my God. Oh, my God! Where -- where's all my stuff? Nana?

Amanda: Oh, there you are. Now, that's much better.

Alison: Where is all my things? Where's my stuff?

Amanda: You mean Rebecca's things?

Alison: Those were antiques.

Amanda: They were trash.

Alison: Oh, my God --

Amanda: I gave them all to charity.

Alison: What? I was only gone for a few minutes.

Amanda: Well, Terence came and took them all away. It didn't take long.

Alison: Oh, my God.

Amanda: I'm really very relieved. All those old candles around here -- it was nothing but a fire hazard.

Alison: Nana --

Amanda: Oh, and that painting. Ugh!

Alison: Why? Why do you hate her so much? I don't understand. She was grandpa's great-grandmother. Ok? And she was beautiful, and she was talented. And what is so awful about some old candles and clothes and things?

Amanda: She was evil.

Alison: Oh, Nana, really! She's been dead for, like, over 100 years. How would you know that she's evil?

Amanda: Everyone knew. She was a witch. She cast a spell on everything she touched. That's all I'm going to say.

Alison: But --

>> stay tuned for scenes from the next "Port Charles: Superstition."

>> On the next "Port Charles" --

Jamal: She was just really freaky, man. I'm kind of glad --

Ricky: Hey, hey! Don't you ever talk about Casey like that, all right?

Alison: Where did you take her things?

Amanda: Forget about her. You have no idea what you're getting into if you don't.
