Rafe: You dragged me away from Alison to ask me advice about a guy?
Casey: Well, you're a guy -- sort of.
Rafe: Oh, thanks.
Casey: I mean, before you were an angel, ok? I mean, you got to know something.
Rafe: Whatever. Can we speed this up?
Casey: Relax, man. Goldilocks isn't going anywhere.
Rafe: All right, see you later, Case.
Casey: Ok, wait, wait, wait -- ok, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Rafe: What do you want to ask?
Casey: Ok. How do I make a guy like me? I mean, ok, what do guys like?
Rafe: So you're having problems with Ricky again?
Casey: I don't know what works, man. I mean, I try making him jealous. I've tried impressing him.
Rafe: All right --
Casey: It's --
Rafe: Why don't you stop trying so hard and just be yourself, ok? No, scratch that. Don't be yourself. Try being nice for a change.
Casey: Go to hell, man.
Rafe: Hey, you know what? Do you want my advice or not? All right, now, why don't you try asking him to a movie and just seeing how it plays out.
Casey: That's it? Invite him to a movie?
Rafe: I'm just saying that you can't force things, and that's what it sounds like you're trying to do.
Casey: Yeah, but we only have about three weeks left.
Rafe: Really? I didn't know that. Look, don't you think in that time that we have left that it's better to get to know someone right? Casey, I was kidding before. You're just fine. Let him get to know the real you. What is it?
Casey: I want to, but --
Rafe: But what?
Casey: I don't want to get too close.
Rafe: Because of the fifth chair.
Casey: What if I get really sweet and nice with Ricky, all right, and that ends up being why he dies or if he dies?
Rafe: We can't second-guess who's coming back with us. Don't you see? No one knows whose time it is.
Casey: Yeah, but don't you ever wonder? I mean, aren't you afraid that because you're all up in Alison that she might be the one who dies? Unless you want her to. That's it, isn't it? You're planning on taking Alison back with you.
Kevin: She's running a high fever, and she got sick in the car on the way over.
Karen: Her temperature's 104.
Karen: We need to get it down.
Kevin: She just had a slight cold for a few days.
Karen: Well, when did it start getting worse?
Kevin: It wasn't.
Kevin: Honey, it wasn't. We thought it was getting better. This came out of nowhere. Don't worry. We're going to take real good care of you.
Lucy: Doc --
Lucy: Hi. What's happening? What's going on?
Karen: I'm working on getting the fever down, Lucy, and I've also called for some tests so we know more.
Lucy: Hi, Punkinhead. It's Mommy. I'm here. Hey, are you doing --
Christina: Mommy, why can't I hear you?
[Captioning made possible by ABC, Inc., and SOAPnet]
Rafe: I can't believe you would even say that. I never want Alison to die.
Casey: Whoa -- but you're in love with her. And if she did, you would spend eternity with her. Oh, please, Rafe, don't even tell me you never even thought about that.
Rafe: No, no, I haven't, you see, because I want her to live a long and happy life.
Casey: Whatever you say. But you and I both know that in about three weeks, you lose her. So don't even tell me that I'm acting crazy because --
Rafe: You know what? You are crazy. You are. And I don't have time for this, Casey.
Casey: Right, so, go ahead! Spend your little precious time with Alison! Thanks for nothing.
Jamal: Those fools didn't even see what hit them.
Ricky: I was good. When it comes to craps, I know what I'm doing.
Jamal: Oh, yeah. Yeah, Ricky, it was all you. You just have the magic touch, don't you?
Ricky: Hey, dude, whatever it takes, all right?
Jamal: Ooh, whatever it takes. Right.
Casey: Ok, I can -- I can be nice. Hey, guys.
Jamal: Look, I'm going to split, all right?
Ricky: Yeah, yeah, I'm right behind you.
Casey: Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait -- ok, ok, ok. Look, I know you guys both think I'm kind of crazy, right? But I just want to let you know that I'm -- I'm totally trying to change. And I wanted to say that I am super sorry for trying to cut the brakes on your bike, Jamal. And to you -- I'm sorry, too, for, you know, a bunch of other things. You want to go out to a movie?
Jamal: She's all yours.
Casey: Look, I know -- I know that the, you know, movie thing was kind of lame, but we could do something else.
Ricky: Look, Casey, I like you and all, but you're a little too psycho for me.
Casey: Oh, wait, wait -- no, no, no. Look, I'm done being psycho. I swear.
Ricky: Yeah, every time I think that, you go and do something else stupid --
Casey: No, no, no, wait. I just -- look, I really like you, all right, a lot, and I was just hoping that maybe we could just try again. So, what, we're cool?
Ricky: Look, I don't know what we are, ok, Case?
Casey: Well, why don't you go buy me a pizza and we can go figure it out?
Ricky: You don't quit, do you?
Casey: Well, what else are you going to do with all that cash you were waving?
Ricky: You noticed that, huh?
Casey: Hey, how can you miss that big a roll? What'd you guys do, con some dumb thugs out of it?
Ricky: Yeah, pretty much.
Man: Talking about us? I came to get my money back.
Lucy: What is it? What's happening to her? Why can't she hear me?
Karen: Well, her ears may be plugged up because of the head cold.
Lucy: It's not just that. She can't -- she can't hear me at all.
Karen: Lucy, you know ear infections are common with kids.
Kevin: But those can be serious.
Karen: Yeah, but usually they're not.
Lucy: "Usually?" "Usually?" What does that mean?
Karen: It means that they can be treated with antibiotics.
Kevin: If we know that's what it is, but right now we don't.
Karen: No, not yet. But that's why I ordered a C.A.T. Scan and getting blood work done. That way, we'll know more.
Christina: Ow, mommy. My head hurts.
Lucy: Ok, ok. I want Alan. I want Ian. I want Ian in here to help her.
Karen: Lucy --
Lucy: She's in pain, Karen. I want it to stop. I want Ian. Doc -- please get him. Hey. It's going to be ok.
Rafe: Hey, I'm back. Sorry I left -- why does it smell like -- oh, God. Alison, come on. Wake up. Come on, Alison. You can do it. Come on! Wake up! Let's get some air in here. Alison -- Alison -- Alison, you ok? Come on. Come on, wake up. Wake up. Come on. You can do it. Come on. Just wake up. Take a deep breath. Please, Alison, wake up. Come on.
Alison: You remember how to do it, right?
Rafe: Right. I think so. Just remember, I'm kind of new at this.
Alison: Right. Ok. Ready? Set. Go.
Rafe: I can tell you this -- I've never felt this way before.
Rafe: No. Not when I was alive. Not when I had the magic and the powers. Not ever. Because when I'm with you, I feel like I know what it would be like to live a whole lifetime. I just -- I know it in my heart what it would be like to just be with you forever and love you forever. I know what it'd be like to have a family and start a home and, you know, have a little house -- like this one.
Alison: Everything is just perfect. I feel so --
Rafe: What? What?
Alison: Feel really loved.
Rafe: That's the idea. You know, to feel loved and special and wonderful. I've never been happier than I am at this moment. There is nothing in heaven and earth just so glorious.
Rafe: Yeah, glorious.
Alison: It's glorious!
Rafe: I'll love you forever.
Alison: We spent so much time, you know, trying to get everybody else together that really I -- I think that maybe it was about us coming together. I mean, you do always say --
Rafe: Everything has a reason.
Alison: I want you to be alive.
Rafe: Well, you already have. No one, Alison, could ever, will ever, has ever made me feel alive as I do right now. And this moment with you -- you. It's all you.
Rafe: No. No, now! I need you to send the ambulance now! My gosh, Alison, wake up. Wake up. Come on. My girlfriend is dying, ok? Now!
Casey: Why don't you crawl back from whatever hole you came from because Ricky's not giving any --
Ricky: Hey, hey, hey -- I can handle this.
Casey: Yeah, but I -- sorry.
Man: Your girlfriend's tougher than you are.
Ricky: That's not my girlfriend, all right?
Jamal: What's up? Is there a problem or something?
Man: Hey, no problem.
Man: I just want a chance to win back my money.
Ricky: No, forget it. We won. You lost. Game over, man.
Man: Afraid of another challenge?
Jamal: Well, I'm not. I'm in.
Jamal: Yeah, come on. You and me, right now.
Ricky: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa -- hold up, hold up.
Jamal: Let's do this.
Ricky: Come here. You crazy? We already cleaned up on them.
Jamal: Yeah, and? Nothing wrong with making a little bit more green, is there?
Ricky: Are you forgetting how we won?
Jamal: No. No, you still got the loaded die on you, right? Well, we're back in business.
Ricky: Yeah, well, that might've worked last night, but what if these guys are on to us?
Jamal: No, come on, come on, what -- what are you talking about, man? I thought you were supposed to be some kind of big tough guy, huh? Come on.
Ricky: Hey -- I'm not scared, all right?
Jamal: Good. Because playing it safe don't get you nowhere. Trust me on this. I know. So, come on, what's the deal? Are you down to gamble or what?
Rafe: Come on, Alison, wake up. Come on, come on.
Rafe: This is all my fault. I left the gas on, and then I left with Casey, and I -- come on. Come on. Alison, wake up. Come on. Oh, my God, your breathing is so shallow.
Frank: What happened?
Rafe: The fireplace -- the gas was escaping.
Frank: Yeah? Are you ok?
Frank: Hey, Bill, just one victim. I can handle it. Ok. How long she been out?
Rafe: I -- um --
Frank: Come on, Alison. Come on. How'd this happen, anyway?
Rafe: I was just trying to start a fire, and it didn't work, and then I left her alone --
Frank: With the gas still on?
Rafe: I forgot! I forgot. God, what have I done?
Casey's Voice: Don't you ever wonder? I mean, aren't you afraid that because you're all up in Alison that she might be the one who dies? That's it, isn't it? You're planning on taking Alison back with you.
Rafe: No. No, this can't be happening. I know I said I wanted to be with you forever, but not like this. No, not like -- Alison, come on, angel. Come on. Come on, wake up. Come on. It's ok. Come on, wake up.
Lucy: Hey -- you're going to get all better, ok? We're going to do something to make your head and your ears stop hurting. Christina, we are. Do you hear me? Christina?
Kevin: She's scared because she doesn't know what's happening.
Lucy: I know. Hey, hey, we're going to get the doctors to give you some medicine, and it'll make your fever go down, and you'll get all better. You'll be ok. Christina? Punkinhead? Doc, what do we do? She doesn't hear.
Kevin: I've got an idea. Christina, honey, remember when we used to talk about Dumbo? And Dumbo had these big ears, remember? And he would have all kinds of problems with them. Sometimes they'd get tied up in a knot, or sometimes -- sometimes he would trip over them and he'd fall right down and go boom and it would hurt. But then, after a while, he learned what a wonderful thing his ears were, and he could do all these things with them -- like he could fly over the hills and do things that nobody else could do. And, so, after a while, he learned to love his ears in good times and bad.
Lucy: Thank you. Oh, Doc -- I don't think that she could hear anything you said, but you really -- you got through to her. You calmed her down.
Kevin: I just wish we knew what was wrong.
Lucy: I just wish we knew why would -- why would this happen? Why is it happening?
Kevin: I don't know, Lucy. I mean, one minute she was fine, and the next she was like this.
Lucy: You know, I thought it was just that cold. She was getting better, right?
Kevin: We both did, but we didn't see anything like this coming on.
Lucy: I should have brought her to the hospital right away. I should've known sooner.
Kevin: Lucy, we didn't see any symptoms like this. You couldn't have known.
Lucy: It just doesn't make sense, does it? It doesn't make any sense at all.
Kevin: Let's just wait for the tests. Maybe it is just a minor infection or a virus like Karen hoped.
Lucy: Right. What if it's not? What if it's something worse. Oh, Doc, it can't be happening to her. Why -- why would God let this happen to her? She's been through so much already. It's not going to happen to her. I won't let it. Doc, please, let's do -- we have to do something. Just let's do something.
Kevin: I'm calling Ian on his cell.
Lucy: Good. Good. Good.
Christina: Mommy, am I going to heaven to be an angel like my other mommy?
Man: So you changed your mind? Think you're on a lucky streak?
Jamal: See, only losers call it luck. It takes skill.
Man: Let's play and see. Same stakes.
Ricky: What are you doing?
Casey: I want to help.
Ricky: Thanks but no thanks.
Casey: Come on, man, I'm not some spaz. Look, I can be cool.
Ricky: Later, ok? Just get out of here.
Casey: Fine, all right? But you know what? It's your loss because not only am I a cool hottie who doesn't deserve to be treated and dissed again, but you know what? I'm actually pretty good at this game.
Ricky: Hey --
Casey: You're so busy not trying to pay attention to me that you haven't even noticed.
Ricky: Noticed what?
Casey: That ever since I picked up your stupid die, I've been rolling nothing but sevens. Nothing but sevens. Huh.
Man: Skill, huh? It looks like you two have a death wish.
Lucy: No, you're not going anywhere. You're not going anywhere ever. You have to stay here with mommy, who loves you very, very much, and Kevin, who loves you, and all the people -- and Serena. You're just going to get better and better and better and be ok. You're not going anywhere.
Kevin: I can't reach Ian or Alan. I'm going to go see what's keeping Karen.
Kevin: Ok -- ok, honey. All right. She's never done that before.
Lucy: I know.
Kevin: Wow, I didn't realize how much I needed this.
Rafe: Please don't do this. Don't take her away because of me.
Frank: The oxygen mask is working. She's breathing normal.
Rafe: So she's ok? Why isn't she waking up?
Frank: I don't know.
Rafe: You don't know?
Frank: Her vitals are fine. She's responsive, and everything is normal.
Rafe: How is that possible? She's still unconscious.
Alison: I love you so much.
Rafe: I love you, too.
Alison: And you're already such a part of me that I really do think that someone up there always knew that we were meant to be together.
Rafe I've never felt this strong a connection, either.
Alison: That's because it's supposed to last.
Rafe: Alison, no --
Alison: Rafe, shh. Listen -- if I never wake up from this dream, then we won't have to say goodbye and can be together forever.
Rafe: So, what is it? What's going on?
Frank: I don't know.
Rafe: Is it a coma? What?
Frank: No, no, she's responsive to my touch. Her reflexes are good.
Rafe: What's stopping her from waking up, then?
Frank: All I know is that Alison body is fighting everything I've tried to do to revive her.
Rafe: So, what do we do?
Frank: Get her to the hospital and let them run some tests.
Rafe: The -- what is it you're not telling me? Come on, just tell me what you think is happening, ok?
Frank: It's like she's in some sort of altered sleep state.
Rafe: Like a dream?
Frank: I know it sounds bizarre, but it's like she doesn't want to wake up from it, like she's fighting coming back. Can you think of any reason she might do that?
>> on the next "Port Charles" --
Rafe: Please, just look at me. Open your eyes. Look at me. Just talk to me, please?
Lucy: What do you think? Can you help her?
Ian: I haven't seen her blood work yet, but I think I know what's wrong with her.
Lucy: It's bad, isn't it?
Amy: You couldn't take Kevin back with you, so did you go after Christina?
