Karen: Frank, I'm fine.
Frank: You're still recovering, and I've got just what the doctor ordered.
Karen: I'm the doctor.
Frank: You're going to love these.
Karen: "The Time Machine?"
Karen: "Somewhere in Time?" "Many Mansions?"
Victor: Interested in time travel, huh? Fascinating subject.
Frank: If he only knew.
Karen: You know, I still can't get over it that you actually did go back in time --
Frank: Shh. This is our secret, remember?
Karen: I'm sorry. I just can't believe what you did for me -- how you believed in the impossible, that you took that leap.
Frank: It was easy, knowing you were on the other side.
Joe: Hey, you two.
Frank and Karen: Hey.
Gabriela: Hey. Did you hear about Eve and Ian?
Karen: Are they all right?
Joe: They're back.
Ian: Are you nervous?
Eve: A little.
Ian: Arianna's going to love to see you.
Eve: No, not about Arianna. Chris, you know? I mean, he proposed to me.
Ian: Yeah. I'll deal with Ramsey.
Eve: Um, we'll deal with Ramsey together.
Ian: Together, huh?
Ian: That's what we are now.
Eve: That's what we are. But you know, on occasion, I might need reminding every now and then.
Eve: Mm-hmm. Oh, that'll do.
Eve: For now.
Ian: Let's go.
Eve: Ok. Hi, Deneice.
Ian: We're just going to check on Arianna.
Deneice: Sure, go ahead. Oh, no. Wait.
Chris: Denny, hey. Got the scoop on Jack? Great. I want you to meet me at the Recovery Room in a half-hour. See you then.
Livvie's Voice: He promised he'd never leave me. He promised me.
Jamal's Voice: He's gone, Livvie.
Livvie's Voice: No.
Jamal's Voice: I'm sorry, Livvie.
Livvie's Voice: No! No. No! He can't be! He can't be! He can't be!
Alison: Here. It's decaf.
Livvie: I can't stand this waiting. Where's Jamal?
Alison: Billy's. He's probably giving him the dirt on Zach right now.
Livvie: Yeah, well, it better be enough to nail that bastard.
Alison: Well, Jamal seems to think so.
Livvie: If not, we're going to have to do something else because Zach is going to pay for what he did to Jack one way or another.
Jamal: Hey, Billy. What up?
Billy: This isn't a good time.
Jamal: What are you talking about? This is the time we set.
Billy: Something came up.
Jamal: Well, it can wait. All right. Let's get to it.
Billy: I don't know what to tell you, man.
Jamal: Sure, you do, man, just like what we talked about -- fixing the races, how he sabotaged the bikes and everything. Hell, how you ended up in the chair.
Jamal: Ok, look, so I found out Zach's real scam, ok? How he's using the riders to pony hot goods across the border.
Billy: I don't know nothing about that.
Jamal: Look, Billy -- Billy, look at me. It's cool, ok? My cousin's the D.A. She'll grant you immunity and everything.
Billy: I don't need it. I didn't do nothing.
Jamal: Well, how'd you end up in the chair, then?
Billy: An accident.
Jamal: Look, listen to me, I don't know what the deal is here, ok, but you're never walking again. Ok, my buddy out there, he's dead because of Zach. Ok, so come on, man. It's payback time, bro.
Billy: I got nothing to say to you.
Jamal: Well, you had plenty to say when we were on the phone. You wanted to take down Zach just as much as I did.
Zach: He changed his mind.
Ian: Where is she?
Eve: Ok. Maybe Deneice knows.
Ian: All her things are gone.
Eve: Well, they may have moved her from room to room.
Ian: Or she's --
Eve: No, come on. Don't jump to conclusions. When you left her, she was still recovering. Yes, hi. This is Dr. Lambert. I'm looking for a patient -- Arianna Thornhart.
Victor: You won't find her here.
Ian: Where is she?
Victor: She was moved out of here.
Ian: By whom? Her family? What?
Victor: No. My people moved her.
Ian: Then she's --
Victor: In a protection program.
Ian: Victor, she just had a liver transplant.
Victor: She was transported by a top medical team. She's in good hands.
Ian: I don't care how good they are. It's too soon to move her.
Victor: I spoke to her myself. She insisted.
Ian: You should've waited for me. I never got to say goodbye.
Victor: This was how she wanted it, Ian. It was very important to her that you move on as she has. She gave me this to give to you. I have to get back to work. It's better this way. Trust me.
Eve: What is it?
Ian: Annulment papers signed by Arianna. And this. It's addressed to both of us.
Eve: What does it say?
Ian: "Dear Ian and Eve -- thank you for so much -- my life, most of all. And my freedom. The least I can do is give you both yours in return."
Jamal: So how much did you pay this fool? Billy, how much are your legs worth to you? Huh?
Billy: Man, leave me out of this, ok?
Zach: You'd be smart to let this go.
Jamal: Jack is dead. You killed him.
Zach: Look, I had no reason like you did. I got six guys outside that'll dust you before you land the first punch.
Jamal: Yeah, it figures. It figures. You don't have enough guts to travel anywhere without your boys.
Zach: And I don't think you want to be putting you and me on tape.
Jamal: Yeah, well, you know somebody's going to talk.
Zach: Won't be you.
Jamal: I wouldn't count on that.
Zach: Man, nobody is asking questions. No one even knows Jack's dead. You got out of it clean unless you go running to the cops.
Jamal: Well, if I take a rap, might as well be for a reason. You know what I'm saying?
Zach: Just chill, Jamal, all right? Ok, I didn't exactly come out on top here. You know, I lost big bank when Jack tossed those diamonds. So let's say we call it even. You got your bike shop, your little blonde hottie. Go live your happily ever after. Isn't that what you wanted?
Jamal: Yeah, but that was before you killed my homey, and you're going down for it.
Livvie: So I -- I went down to the water to Jack's and my spot to try and -- try and feel him somehow, you know? And what happens to me? Some -- some jerk is standing there watching me?
Alison: Wait -- a guy? Livvie, did he hurt you?
Livvie: No! No, it just made me mad that he was there, ok? Like, not even at him, really. At everything. I'm just -- I'm just so mad right now! I just want to hurt someone the way I'm hurting!
Alison: I know you do, ok? I know, but it will not make any difference. It will not bring Jack back.
Livvie: I don't care. I can't -- I can't help feeling the way I feel right now. I got to go.
Alison: Where are you going?
Livvie: I just -- I need to get some fresh air, that's all.
Livvie: Who's there? Is someone there? Come out where I can see you! Get away from me! Just -- just stay away from me!
Alison: Livvie --
Livvie: Leave me alone! Just leave me alone!
Alison: Livvie, what --
Livvie: I don't know.
Gabriela: So did you hear about Joe and me?
Joe: We're married.
Gabriela: Not really. But we were both out sick on the same day last week, so rumor got around that we eloped.
Joe: Yeah, what are they going to think when we go up to the Falls next weekend?
Karen: I'd like to be around for that one.
Frank: Hey, you just concentrate on recuperating.
Joe: Looks like you got a lot to keep you busy.
Gabriela: Hey, what's this? Oh, "The Time Machine." What a great book. Can you imagine what it would be like if we could really time travel?
Frank: Never crossed my mind.
Karen: Me, neither.
Joe: Hey, time for refills.
Frank and Gabriela: Yeah.
Frank: Be right back.
Victor: We had quite a time.
Joe: Victor --
Victor: Yes, sir.
Joe: Another round, please?
Victor: Another round. That would be three drafts and a root beer.
Frank: Yeah. What's with the getup? You auditioning for "Survivor III"?
Victor: Frank, Joe, I'd like to introduce you to Judge Kurland. Abe is an old fishing buddy of mine. We've been planning this excursion into the great outdoors how many weeks?
Abe: Too many. It's great to finally meet Mary's boys. Victor's told me all about you. Hi.
Joe: It's all his fault.
Victor: All right. Here is my last order, and I am officially off duty.
Joe: All right, thanks.
Victor: We're out of here, Abe.
Joe: Nice to meet you, Judge.
Abe: Nice to meet you, boys.
Victor: Take care of everything.
Frank: Happy fishing.
Joe: Don't forget your hat.
Abe: Bring you back some. Got it.
Frank: So you and Gabby are heading up to the Falls?
Joe: That's just for the weekend.
Frank: That's right after your last HIV test, right?
Joe: I'm hoping I'll have something to celebrate because I'm so ready to move on.
Frank: With Gabby?
Frank: You know, you two are good together.
Joe: Yeah, you and -- you and Karen are, too.
Frank: Thanks. You know, maybe this time we both got it right, huh?
Karen: So when Deneice said she was going out with her friend Alice, everybody thought she meant Alex.
Gabriela: Yes, and, boy, did the fur fly because it turns out Marcela has a little thing for Alex, but Alex has the hots for Colleen.
Karen: Who I know is hot for Ian.
Gabriela: Well, please, every nurse in the hospital has the hots for him.
Frank: Talking about me again?
Joe: Oh, give me a break. They're talking about me. Right?
Karen: Oh, please. We are all the woman either of you can handle.
Frank and Joe: Aw.
Gabriela: Got that right.
Karen: Hey, look who's here. Eve!
Eve: Karen! Gabby! Hey, everybody!
Karen: Oh, I am so glad you're back.
Eve: Not half as glad as I am. Wow. You look fantastic. How are you doing?
Eve: Oh, thank God. You know, I don't know what would've happened to Arianna if it hadn't been for you.
Karen: So, where you been? Where'd you find her?
Ian: Well, I had just about given up when I ran into her in a monastery in the woods.
Gabriela: My God, that sounds so romantic.
Karen: Shh. And?
Eve: Ok. And I met this priest who was kind of enough to take me under his wing and he let me stay with him for a little while.
Frank: What, he was there by himself?
Eve: He's renovating the monastery.
Ian: Yeah. And he almost convinced the good doctor here to go to the Appalachians to work in a clinic.
Eve: Yeah. I feel really bad about backing out, leaving those people.
Joe: How many -- how many doctors do they have?
Eve: Well, they have one there right now, and he's going to be gone by the end of the month.
Joe: Well, what kind of support staff do they have?
Eve: There's a part-time nurse, and --
Chris: Hey. Don't stop on my account.
Eve: Hi, Chris.
Chris: Hey. So you decided to come back.
Ian: With me.
Chris: Well, calls for a toast. I believe the honor is mine.
Alison: Did you see someone out there?
Livvie: Uh, no. I -- I've just been feeling like this -- like I'm being watched ever since Jack died.
Alison: Well, maybe it's just your nerves.
Livvie: No, that guy at the river wasn't my nerves.
Alison: Well, do you think that that was him?
Livvie: I don't know. I don't know anything anymore. Maybe he wasn't even there and maybe I just -- I made him up and I am losing my mind like the rest of my family.
Alison: Look, Livvie, you loved Jack, ok? He died in your arms. If you weren't falling apart right now, I would be really worried about you.
Livvie: Hey, Jamal, how'd it go?
Alison: Did you get what you needed from Billy?
Livvie: What happened?
Jamal: Zach was there. Got to Billy, bought him off.
Alison: So we're back to square one?
Jamal: We'll think of something. Livvie, it's not over.
Alison: Yeah, we have to. Ok? And we will, I promise you. All right?
Livvie: Look, I've -- I got to get home.
Alison: Are you going to be all right?
Livvie: Yeah. I'm just going to take a walk or something. I'll be fine. I'll call you later.
Alison: Promise you'll call, ok?
Alison: So what now?
Jamal: Oh, you know, I've been thinking about that, and I can only come up with one thing.
Alison: Ok, and?
Jamal: We go to the cops.
Chris: Eve, Ian, in honor of both of you, an Irish toast. "I wish you health, I wish you well, and happiness galore. I wish you luck for you and friends. Could I wish you more?"
Gabriela: Hear, hear.
Joe: I'll drink to that.
Eve: Thank you.
Chris: You know, I want what's best for you.
Eve: I know.
Ian: Would you like to join us?
Chris: Thank you, but I'm meeting someone. I mean it. Be happy.
Eve: You, too. Ok. I have a toast now. To new lives for all of us because we deserve it.
Eve: Here you go.
Denny: Hey, you ok?
Chris: Yeah, I'm fine. What'd you find out about Jack?
Denny: Well, he was in this off-road race over the border. Jamal Woods was supposed to ride but didn't show.
Chris: Jack rode in his place?
Denny: But never finished. Nobody's seen him since.
Chris: What about the biker chick from the hospital?
Denny: Samantha Norris. Tough piece of work. She runs with Zach Vernon's crew.
Chris: Am I supposed to have any idea who these people are?
Denny: Zach's kind of an operator. I don't know what he does exactly, but I'm sure it's not legal.
Chris: What happened to Jack?
Denny: Could be anything. He might've jumped parole in Canada, or maybe he owed somebody money.
Chris: Denny, I'm not paying you for guesses. I need answers. I want you to find out what happened to my brother.
Denny: The last time you hired me, it was to do a number on him. What changed?
Chris: I don't know, he's family. Maybe I figured out what that means.
Alison: You want to go to the cops?
Jamal: Yeah, just tell them the truth -- tell them that Zach killed Jack.
Alison: But before you were afraid that the police wouldn't believe you.
Jamal: Yeah, I know. I know. It's a chance we're going to have to take. I mean, Chris is snooping around and Livvie's going crazy, and we're all lying to Kevin and Lucy.
Alison: I know.
Jamal: And Jack -- left his body out there where we buried him. Sweetie, that's no kind of grave, ok? It's not right.
Alison: I know. I was thinking the same thing. But then I get scared, Jamal, because Zach's going to make it look like you did this.
Jamal: Yeah, it's a sure bet he will. Ok, and his boys are going to back him up, too. But I can't run from this, ok? I owe it to Jack.
Alison: I know.
Jamal: Yeah. You ok with this?
Alison: Yeah. As long as we have each other, we can get through this together. But Livvie -- she's all alone, Jamal.
Man: Yo, Zach!
Zach: What's going on, man?
Man: Someone's looking for you.
Zach: What's up, baby?
Livvie: I need to talk to you.
>> On the next "Port Charles" --
Kevin: So how far along are you?
Eve: Well, I think we'll be expecting -- hi, Lucy.
Lucy: You're having a baby?
Zach: Hey, hey!
Livvie: You are not going anywhere, Zach, except straight to hell.
