Alison: Oh, my God, you fixed it!

Jamal: Yeah.

Alison: That's so great!

Jamal: Well, this is not the surprise.

Alison: Well, then, what?

Jamal: We're going out.

Alison: Where?

Jamal: Where isn't the point. All right? It's about the ride. And I'm going to take you for the ride of your life, girl. Come on.

Ian: Sit down for a bit.

Arianna: Thank you.

Ian: Ok. You all right?

Arianna: According to Dr. Neumann, I'm feeling the way a woman is supposed to when she's pregnant.

Ian: Hmm. Do you understand everything she was telling you?

Arianna: Yes.

Ian: About exercise and proper nutrition and all that? Good. Well, these are your prenatal vitamins. There you go. You may as well start taking them right away. Let me get you some water.

Ian: All right. There you are. What's the matter? You having second thoughts?

Arianna: About having this baby?

Ian: Under the circumstances, that's understandable.

Arianna: You mean because I was raped.

Ian: Yeah. If you're considering an abortion --

Arianna: No. That's not an option for me. I heard the heartbeat.

Ian: Did you?

Arianna: There's a baby growing inside of me. But how am I going to take care of it? I have no home, no money --

Ian: Don't worry about that, all right?

Arianna: How can I not worry? What am I going to do?

Ian: Well, I'm going to help you.

Arianna: You will?

Ian: I will do everything I can.

Arianna: You don't know what this means to me. How could I ever thank you enough for letting us live here with you?

Lucy: Oh! Yeah. Wow. I am so over this place. Really, really over it.

Lucy: Don. Hey, it's me. Listen, I want you to drop whatever you're doing and call Wyndham's. I want you to tell them to have Chantal come over here right away to the hotel and tell them to make sure she brings everything she picked up in Milan this year. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, and what's that guy -- you know the one we met at the fashion show that everybody's raving about, that stylist that has that weird hair? Siegfried! Yes! Have him sent over, too, right away. And -- oh, and, Don, I want a realtor -- somebody really good. The best in town. Have them sent over, too. Oh, I'll tell you what's up. Me. That's what's up. Well, I'll take that back. It's not really me. It's the new me, you know -- the new look of me, the new feel of me, the new place to live of me, you know? It's -- it's good. Change is good. Oh. Well, um -- I'll tell you what brought it on. Never mind. You know what? You know what really brought this on is it's a new millennium -- you know, the real one for a change. All those fireworks of last year -- forget about that. This is time for me. This is my millennium, the new start for me, because, Don, I want to spread my wings. I want to fly out there solo. It's time for me to really get a life, you know? So chop, chop, Don. Do it right away, ok? Go, go, go, go, go. For me. Ok. Ta.

Lucy: Ok, it's time.

Lucy: Voila.

[Door creaks]

[cat meows]

Karen: Oh. It's just a kitten.

Eve: Let's just check and make sure that's all it is.

Eve: Oh, God. You know what? What was I thinking? What were we thinking? The police have already been all over this place. There's no way Harris would ever come back here.

Karen: Never thought you would, either.

Eve: I had to. I had to come back here and find out what happened between Ian and me. If anything happened.

Karen: Eve, are you remembering something?

Ian: Well, I've been meaning to talk to you about that -- about you staying here.

Arianna: Oh, don't worry. I'll pay for myself somehow. I'll cook and clean for you. I will --

Ian: That's not what I meant.

Arianna: I'll get a job if --

Ian: No, no, no, that's not what I meant.

Arianna: What, then?

Ian: I don't think you should stay here.

Arianna: Oh. I'm sorry. Of course you would feel that way about someone like me.

Ian: Someone like you? What are -- no, no, no, no, no. You did nothing wrong. You were raped. It was not your fault. I don't care what your family says.

Arianna: Then why don't you want me here?

Ian: It's not that I don't want you here. I don't -- I don't think it's safe.

Arianna: My brother is going back home to tell the family everything has been taken care of, that he carried out the honor killing.

Ian: And you believe him?

Arianna: He loves me. I can't believe he would go back on his word to me.

Ian: Let's not take any chances. There's a baby involved.

Arianna: I know why you don't really want me to stay here, and it has nothing to do with Ben.

Ian: What are you talking about?

Arianna: It's about Eve. You don't want to share your home with another woman when you still think there's a chance for you two.

Eve: I'm just remembering what it was like being here, thinking that I'd never get out of this place, that we'd never get out of this place alive. And every time Harris or one of his men would walk through that door, we thought they were here to kill us.

Karen: Ok, we should go. We never should have come here.

Eve: This is where the lab was. This is where we had to work 24 hours a day to find a cure to save his life, knowing that we would die if we didn't. And over here -- this was where the wash basin was, where every night I would wash the filth of this place off of me.

Karen: And where was Ian when you were washing up?

Eve: Well, he was here in this room. Harris was nice enough to put up a screen.

Karen: And where did you sleep?

Eve: Here on this bed.

Karen: What about Ian?

Eve: Well, he -- he slept on the bed, too, but -- but -- but I was underneath the covers and he was on top of the covers -- only until Harris gave us an extra cot.

Karen: But, still, you shared a bed for a while.

Eve: Yeah.

Karen: In a small room for weeks.

Eve: What?

Kevin: Well, maybe you weren't imagining it. Maybe you and Ian really did -- you know. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that.

Eve: No, no, it's ok. Because I was just thinking the same thing.

Lucy: Tell the dealer I want something really fast and very sexy, you know?

Woman: It is as if she make it just for you, no?

Lucy: Oh, no. Oh, no, no, I mean oui. Oui, oui. You know, I love it. I will take it, ok? Yeah, you got an idea? No, I don't want a Hummer. No, come -- I want something sleek and really red -- bright, bright red, you know? Set the test drive up and then just put it on my calendar. Ok. All right. Ta. Oh! Yeow! That hurt.

Man: Madame, I am so sorry. Can you find it in your loveliness to forgive me?

Lucy: Oh, of course.

Man: You will drive the man in your life wild with desire.

Lucy: Man in my life? No -- no, no, no. See, no. There is not a man in my life. I don't want a man in my life. I don't need a man in my life, ok? I'm changing. Time to change.

[Knock on door]

Lucy: Oh, entrez-vous. Come on in, per favore.

Chantal: May we help you?

Man: I'm looking for Lucy Coe.

Lucy: Armando -- 86 the last thing I said about men, you know. Could you just hang on one teeny second? I'll be right with you. Ok. Oh, for heaven's sakes. Ok. Um -- hi. Oh. Excuse me. I'm Lucy Coe. And you are?

Man: Darrell Gordon.

Lucy: Oh, Darrell Gordon. Oh, the Darrell Gordon of Gordon Properties, the realtor.

Darrell: Yes, your assistant said you needed my services.

Lucy: Oh, boy, oh, boy, do I ever. Oh, Chantal, you know what? I'm going to take everything you brought. I love it. You're a dream. And, Armando, you know what? Let's just fit me later. Shall we? Here, take these little doohitchies here, and I'll call you and set up an appointment in my book. Just leave all that. It's fine. Arrivederci, au revoir. Ta-ta. Adios, amigos. Ok, grazie, grazie. Ok. Wow. Sorry about that. Mr. Gor-- could I call you Darrell?

Darrell: Of course.

Lucy: Oh. Good. Ok, Darrell. What do you have for me?

Darrell: Whatever you want.

Lucy: That's the perfect answer. You know what? Do you know what I really want? I would like to get out of here. I am sick of this place. I'd like to go somewhere fun, maybe, and have some drinks?

Darrell: Sounds great.

Lucy: Oh, it sounds great to me, too. Shall we?

Darrell: Yes.

Lucy: Ok. Let me just -- I'm coming. I mean I'm going to -- I'll be right there with you. Let me get my things, ok? Ok.

Alison: You were so right.

Jamal: About what?

Alison: The ride. I have never felt this way ever.

Jamal: That's how you should feel every day. Your heart should race. You shouldn't be able to wait for the next minute to come.

Alison: Come on, let's go.

Jamal: Where? Where?

Alison: We're going to go find another hill --

Jamal: Whoa, whoa, whoa. No, no, no, no. Do you want to kill yourself or something?

Alison: No. I just don't want this feeling to end, you know?

Jamal: There's other ways to keep it going.

Alison: Like what?

Jamal: Your heart's still racing.

Alison: I can't wait for the next second.

[Jamal laughs]

Alison: Oh, my God. Oh, it's snowing!

Jamal: What, you want to head back? Huh?

Alison: You?

Jamal: Uh-uh. Come here, girl.

[Rock music plays]

Lucy: So, welcome to the Recovery Room. Sort of an appropriate name for me. I'm going to have my usual, please. I don't have a usual, so is there something you like to drink?

Darrell: How about a cosmopolitan?

Lucy: Oh, that sounds yummy. Ok, two -- two cosmopolitans, please. Thank you. So, tell me, what kind of music do you like?

Darrell: I'm a jazz man.

Lucy: Jazz man.

Darrell: You don't like jazz?

Lucy: No, no, I do. I really do. I mean, I love jazz. It's just that it sort of reminds me of somebody.

Darrell: Somebody you'd rather not think about.

Lucy: Exactly. So, how about R&B?

Darrell: R&B.

Lucy: R&B.

Darrell: R&B.

Lucy: Ok, I'll be R&B-ing over -- ok -- there. Right. I'm going. Ok. Ah, let's see. Ah. There we go.

[R&B music plays]

Lucy: Ooh, those look good. Thank you. Thanks. Ok, so, how about to good times?

Darrell: And good things to come.

Lucy: Oh, um -- what did you have in mind?

Darrell: Well, actually, I brought some brochures of some of the listings we have.

Lucy: Mmm, mmm. Of course.

Darrell: Do you have any particular type of style of house you're looking for -- craftsman, maybe, or Victorian? Brady Bunch?

Lucy: Well, as long as it's not a firehouse or a lighthouse.

Darrell: I think that should be pretty easy to accommodate.

Lucy: You'd be surprised.

Darrell: This -- one of our prime listings. Just came in yesterday. I haven't even shown it yet.

Lucy: I love it. It's adorable. Ok, I'll take it.

Darrell: Don't you want to see it first?

Lucy: I see it. I -- it's right there. I love it.

Darrell: What about the price?

Lucy: No object.

Darrell: Wow. You're pretty easy to please.

Lucy: All depends on who's doing the pleasing.

Darrell: So, I suppose our meeting's over.

Lucy: Yeah, so, I guess it is -- unless you have something else you'd like to show me.

Darrell: Well, you did mention something about a good time.

Lucy: Is that an invitation?

Darrell: Are you accepting?

Lucy: I'm accepting. What are you doing?

Darrell: Let me have this dance.

Lucy: Oh, oh, you know, I --

Darrell: Yeah, yeah, yeah --

Lucy: I haven't danced in so long, and --

Darrell: I know, I know, I know, I know.

Lucy: I don't even know -- uh-oh. Wow.

Ian: I don't think it's safe for you to stay here. It's nothing to do with Dr. Lambert.

Arianna: Where else should I go, then?

Ian: I'll think of something.

Arianna: I guess I'd have to leave Port Charles, find a place where my brother wouldn't think to look for me. If I only knew where that was.

Ian: Well, maybe I do. Let me find out. You'll be fine.

Arianna: You're sure?

Ian: I think so. Let me see if I can work this out. Ok. I will call you in a bit. Do not open the door for anyone. Promise me.

Arianna: Ian -- thank you. I don't know what I would do without you.

Ian: You'll be fine, you and your baby both. I'll be back.

Karen: What's that?

Eve: What?

Karen: Here under the mattress. Hold on. Here.

Eve: Oh, my God.

Karen: What is it?

Eve: "Dear Kevin, I can't tell you how much I miss you, how much I want to be home in your arms right now. If this letter somehow manages to reach you, just know that I love you and I always will." Oh! There we go!

Karen: That is a good thing, right?

Eve: Yeah. Well, sure. I mean, because, you know, I wouldn't have written a letter like this if I was having an affair with Ian, right? I mean, I don't think I would.

Karen: Probably not.

Eve: No. No. Ok, you know what? This is a good thing, and I think I need to -- I need to be alone right now and just --

[Karen sighs]

Eve: Yeah -- no, and just try and remember as much as I possibly can. Please, do you mind?

Karen: Ok, ten minutes, and I'll be right back to get you.

Eve: Ok. Ok, thank you.

Eve: "I love you and I always will." Well, if I love Kevin so much, then why can't I get Ian out of my head?

Alison: I do not want this day to end.

Jamal: You liked the ride that much, huh?

Alison: I just like how much closer it brought us. I was so sure that I knew all that there was to know about you. Until this. Today, I mean, it really shows me how much I have to learn.

Jamal: You know what's important, though? What's in here. That's what counts, baby.

Alison: Jamal --

Jamal: Shh. I love you so much.

[Music plays]

Lucy: Oh!

[Lucy laughs]

Lucy: Oh, my goodness. Oh, thank you. Thank you very much.

Darrell: This is by far the best business meeting I've ever had.

Lucy: Oh, what a coincidence. Me, too.

Darrell: What do you say we just make it a date?

Lucy: A date?

[Slow music plays]

Darrell: Oh, I'm sorry. You're probably already seeing someone.

Lucy: No. No, actually, I'm not seeing anybody anymore.

Darrell: Then you are free to go out with me.

Lucy: Um -- yeah. I'm free as a bird.

Darrell: I'm going to go get the car. I'll be right back.

Lucy: Ok. Wow. I'm having fun. I am really, really, really having fun. But what are you doing? What are you doing? What is your problem? You can't go two minutes without a guy on your arm? Although he is an incredible dancer and incredible-looking and -- oh, what the heck. I am free -- free to do whatever I want with whomever I want whenever I want to do it. And that's the way it's going to be from now on, right? Right.

[Door opens]

Arianna: Ian?

Ben: It's me, Arianna.

Arianna: Ben. How'd you get in here? Ian locked all the doors.

Ben: I don't like this, either, but you brought this on yourself.

Arianna: No --

Ben: Sorry, little sister, but you can't run this time.

Eve: I love Kevin. I've never stopped loving him, and this letter proves that. I belong with Kevin.

Eve: Karen?

Ian: It's me. I thought I might find you here.

Eve: I had to come back. I had to know for sure.

Ian: All you have to know is that I love you and that we belong together.

>> On the next "Port Charles" --

Lucy: It's satisfying just to think about just me and not anybody else. Well, of course, except you, Kevin.

Darrell: My name's Darrell.

Eve: I wasn't expecting you.

Kevin: Who were you expecting?
