Stephanie: [Sighs] What took you so long? I thought you'd never get here.

Jeremy: Sorry, babe. I got tied up -- business. So, how did things end with your old man?

Stephanie: Be glad you bailed when you did.

Jeremy: So I take it I won't be shooting pool and grabbing a beer with him any time soon.

Stephanie: He's just so -- ugh, I could scream!

Jeremy: Sit down. Tell me what happened.

Stephanie: I told him that, yeah, you made mistakes, but that you've changed and that you deserve a second chance. And then he gave me this bull about second chances needing to be earned.

Jeremy: He's got it in for me, Steph. He's not gonna fold.

Stephanie: Can you believe he ordered me not to see you anymore?

Jeremy: Sure I can. He's into control.

Stephanie: I told him there was no way in hell I'd stop seeing you. I really let him have it.

Jeremy: Way to go.

Stephanie: I'm so out of there.

Jeremy: Well, it is about time you got your own place anyway.

Stephanie: I-I have a better idea. Why don't I move in with you?

Nick: Chelsea. Whatever it is, I want to fix it.

Chelsea: Nick, I'm not about to jump. Come on. You know me. I just got the shoes.

Nick: [Laughs] Well, I didn't think you were about to jump.

Chelsea: Thank you for coming. Though I have to admit, I'm surprised. I thought you'd be on your honeymoon right now.

Nick: My honeymoon?

Chelsea: Yeah, you know, to that slut. I mean, the lovely person that you met in Vegas.

Nick: To be honest, the whole thing is kind of a blur. But, um, as far as I know, I'm still single -- totally available.

Chelsea: That's good.

Nick: Yeah?

Chelsea: Yeah. I mean, 'cause I would hate for you to make the same mistakes I did.

Nick: What did you do?

Chelsea: I trusted Jett Carver.

E.J.: Can I get you a newspaper, Father?

Stefano: You're being quite solicitous, my son. Quite a contrast from earlier today when you allied yourself with our enemies -- the Bradys.

E.J.: Look, I was just doing what I needed to do to protect the children.

Stefano: The children? The children that don't even belong to you? You are an embarrassment. Do you know that, Elvis? I just cannot look at you right now, so go -- go somewhere else, all right, and mourn your lost twins.

E.J.: Those twins were just a means to an end for you, weren't they? Maybe you should understand something. They were my family. They were my future.

Stefano: Don't compound your failures by lying to me. It was never about the children. You could not care less about being a father. All you care about is Samantha.

E.J.: Well, it's a bit of a moot point now, isn't it, because she's gone and wants nothing to do with me. I've got nothing left.

Stefano: For God's sake. Eh? Act like a man! Where's your self-respect? You are a DiMera.

Nurse Jennifer: He's still in v-fib.

Doctor: Clear.

Nurse Jennifer: I think we have a rhythm.

Doctor: Check for a pulse.

Sami: [Sobbing]

Lucas: Shh. Shh.

Doctor: Get him to the O.R. now.

Marlena: Doctor?

Doctor: It's pericardial tamponade, Marlena.

Marlena: Thank you.

Sami: [Sobbing] What? What is going on?

Marlena: Your father has excess fluid around his heart. They have to drain it.

Sami: They're going into his chest? Daddy!

Lucas: Wait a minute. It's gonna be fine. He's gonna be okay.

Sami: No, he's not! The DiMeras have killed him!

Marlena: Stop that! Don't say that. He's gonna be fine. He will pull through this.

Lucas: Your mother's right.

Sami: You don't know that, neither of you. And even if, by some miracle, he does pull through this, they're just gonna come after him again. This is never gonna stop. And you know what? I am not gonna sit around and wait for them. I'm gonna do something.

Stefano: "Oh, woe is me! What will I ever do? I lost the love of my life!" You are a disgrace to the DiMera name. Oh, Elvis. [Sighs]

E.J.: Clearly you have forgotten what it is like to feel the passion for a woman, Father.

Stefano: Ha! Passion! You call this passion? A man of passion is a man of action.

E.J.: And what, exactly, do you suggest that I do, just walk in there like a caveman and grab her by her hair and pull her out?

Stefano: If that's what it takes.

E.J.: And how the bloody hell do you expect me to lure Samantha away from Lucas? As long as he's in the picture, I don't have a chance.

Stefano: Then take him out of the picture.

E.J.: What do you mean, "take him out of the picture"? Are you suggesting that I -- that I kill Lucas?

Sami: I swear to God. If it is the last thing I do, I will make sure --

Lucas: I know you're angry. So am I.

Marlena: We all are.

Lucas: You can't get yourself worked up like this. It's not helping anybody.

Sami: Dad, Dad, you're gonna be okay. The doctors are gonna make you all better.

Marlena: Samantha, calm down.

Sami: I'm gonna make them pay, Dad. I promise you.

Lucas: Marlena, do you want me to call john?

Marlena: Yes, please tell him I'll be in the O.R.

Lucas: Okay.

Marlena: Oh, Lucas. One more thing. Keep an eye on Sami. She's gonna really need you now.

Lucas: You got it.

Doctor: Dr. Evans?

Marlena: Yes.

Doctor: Can I have a quick word?

Lucas: Sami? Sami, we got to -- we got to call -- Sami!

Nick: What did Jett do?

Chelsea: He lied to me. He's been lying to me and everybody else since the moment he got here.

Nick: About what?

Chelsea: If I tell you, you have to promise not to say anything.

Nick: I promise.

Chelsea: He's an undercover ISA agent.

Nick: [Laughs] Are you kidding?

Chelsea: No, Nick. He has a badge and everything.

Nick: I thought he worked for the airline. I thought that was his job.

Chelsea: No, it was just a cover. See what I mean? You think you know somebody.

Nick: What is -- what is he investigating?

Chelsea: I'll give you a hint. It's a certain business partner, and it's not Max.

Nick: Jeremy.

Chelsea: Yep. My gut was right about him all along. I just can't believe that I was so wrong about Jett.

Nick: Wait, I'm confused. I thought you were saying that Jett was one of the good guys.

Chelsea: Nick, he's been leading me on. The only reason he hung out with any of us was to get the dirt on Jeremy.

Nick: What's Jeremy doing?

Chelsea: How should I know? I just serve drinks and caviar and pâté and stuff.

Nick: It must be pretty bad if the government is involved.

Chelsea: Yeah, I know. But the worst part is that Jett wants me to find out what he's doing.

Nick: How?

Chelsea: By using my friendship with Stephanie.

Jeremy: [Laughs] You really had me going there for a sec, Steph.

Stephanie: I'm serious, Jeremy. I think maybe it's time we shack up together.

Jeremy: You know, I saw a bunch of great apartments when I was looking for mine. You know, the building down by the waterfront looks pretty good -- screening room, fitness center. Oh, what about this? Large, one-bedroom with loft, wood floors, fireplace. Oh, washer/dryer in the unit. Sweet.

Stephanie: Because you know how much I love to do laundry.

Jeremy: But you'd have a fireplace, babe. I mean, think about it. I could stop by on a cold, winter night. The two of us could camp out in front of a nice, warm fire, be naughty.

Stephanie: Yeah. But if we live together, we can be naughty all the time.

Jeremy: I don't have a fireplace, babe.

Stephanie: You know what I mean. Come on. It's stupid to pay two rents, two cable bills, utilities, all that stuff. Think about how much money we'd save by sharing. One shower, one bed.

Jeremy: Don't go getting your hopes up about this, okay?

Stephanie: Why not?

Jeremy: 'Cause I don't think living together is such a good idea.

Nick: Jett wants you to spy on Stephanie?

Chelsea: Yes. Basically, he wants me to do the same thing to her that he did to me.

Nick: Was he really pissed when you said "no"? Or did you tell him "no"?

Chelsea: I couldn't. He kept pushing and pushing. And then he said that when he brings Jeremy down, Stephanie's gonna go right there with him, unless we can prove that she's innocent.

Nick: They can't pin this on Stephanie unless she's somehow involved. Oh, my God. Is Stephanie involved in this? Sorry. Of course not.

Chelsea: The problem is that Jeremy's gonna do whatever he has to, to protect himself, even if that means throwing Stephanie under the bus.

Nick: You're right. I think he would do that.

Chelsea: She's not exactly little miss perfect, and the cops would have her in jail faster than you can say "Paris Hilton."

Nick: So, basically, you actually might be protecting Stephanie by --

Chelsea: If I spied on her. What if this is all just a setup? I mean, what if Jett is using me again to do his dirty work?

Stephanie: Not a good idea? Why not?

Jeremy: Steph, listen. I just moved out on my own.

Stephanie: Jeremy, that's what couples do. They live together.

Jeremy: Listen. Let me explain. Do you remember those friends of ours, Sam and Marie? The second those two moved in together, it was the beginning of the end.

Stephanie: So that's automatically gonna happen to us.

Jeremy: No. I just think we might be rushing things a little. Steph, I love you. And, believe me, I do want us to live together...someday.

Stephanie: But right now, I'd be cramping your style.

Jeremy: No, it's just --

Stephanie: Jeremy, I don't care that you drink milk from the carton or that you leave the dishes in the sink. Just don't bring another woman home.

Jeremy: I thought we got that straight. Max just got it all wrong.

Stephanie: I'd be cool with how you live. That's all I'm saying.

Jeremy: That's what makes you so different from any other girl I've dated. Baby, you're special. And I really don't want to screw this up.

Stephanie: Jeremy, it's not even that big of a deal.

Jeremy: I just want to take it slow, you know, really do it right.

Stephanie: Come on. Please? Please? My pouting always works.

Jeremy: Steph, are you sure you're not just doing this to piss your dad off?

Stephanie: No! Come on, Jeremy.

Jeremy: The thing is, if we jump into this, we're only giving your dad more ammo. Do you really want to make him an enemy for life?

Stephanie: I guess not.

Jeremy: That's my girl. Besides, when we do move in together, I'm kind of hoping it's as husband and wife.

Lucas: Sami. Sami! Damn it!

Marlena: Excuse me. Lucas, what's the matter?

Lucas: She took off.

Marlena: What do you mean? What do you mean she took off?

Lucas: She's gone. She's gone, and I think we both know where she's headed.

E.J.: Good God, Father. Are you mad? How on earth could killing her husband win me Samantha's affections?

Stefano: I don't recall saying anything about killing, but you certainly can remove him without your hand being seen.

E.J.: Look, if that boy has the sniffles, she thinks it's my doing.

Stefano: You're even more pathetic than I thought.

E.J.: And you're out of touch with reality.

Stefano: I don't think so. What I do know is that you are a disappointment, Elvis. But who knows? Perhaps I'll be lucky. I'll find out you really are not my son but the gardener's mongrel.

[Doorbell rings]

Stefano: Bart! Bart!

Bart: I got it. I got it. I'll clean it up in a second here. It'll just take a second.

Stefano: The door, you imbecile.

Bart: First the door. First the door.

Stefano: [Sighs]

Sami: Get out of my way.

Bart: Hey, if it isn't Rocky Graziano.

Sami: I'm here to see Stefano.

Bart: That's tough, baby. You almost did permanent damage to my eye.

Sami: And I'll do permanent damage somewhere else if you don't get out of my way.

Stephanie: Oh, my God. Jeremy, are -- are you proposing to me?

Jeremy: Oh. No, no, Steph. That's not what I meant. I --

Stephanie: Oh.

Jeremy: Don't be sad, baby.

Stephanie: I'm not.

Jeremy: Look at me. Look at me. Come on. We're too young to get hitched. And, besides, you haven't even finished college yet.

Stephanie: So?

Jeremy: And we've got a good thing going here. Why screw with it, right? Find some places that look interesting. We'll check them out tomorrow.

Stephanie: How am I supposed to afford rent and tuition? I'll be lucky to find a place with indoor plumbing.

Jeremy: Go cold turkey on shoes.

Stephanie: Not funny.

Jeremy: You spend more in one month than anyone else spends in a lifetime.

Stephanie: How am I supposed to afford this? It's not like I can go to my parents for money.

Jeremy: How's this? Get a crib you like, pay what you can, and I'll cover the rest.

Stephanie: No way.

Jeremy: Trust me. I'm not hurting. Let's hook up later. It's gonna be all right.

Stephanie: [Sighs] Hey, Aunt Adrienne. It's Steph. Yeah. I'm sorry. I know it's kind of late. I just -- I have a problem. I really have to see you.

Chelsea: Seriously, Nick. What do you think that I should do?

Nick: Go with your gut.

Chelsea: My gut has been completely wrong about everything up to this point.

Nick: I knew Jett was bad news.

Chelsea: Yeah, you did. I should have trusted you instead of him.

Nick: I don't know. I mean, I've lied to you about stuff, too.

Chelsea: But you did it because you didn't want to see me freak out. You didn't do it because you were using me.

Nick: Doesn't necessarily make me a better man.

Lucas: I left her alone for, what, two seconds?

Marlena: No, it's my fault. I saw that look in her eyes.

Lucas: Going after the DiMeras -- what is she thinking? She's got a child and two on the way.

Marlena: She's thinking about the family that she's already failed, Lucas.

Lucas: We both know that's not true.

Marlena: No, of course it isn't, but that's how Sami feels. That's what's driving her to do something heroic for the family.

Lucas: Going after the DiMeras, she's gonna get herself killed.

Marlena: Get your car. I'll talk to the doctor and meet you in front.

Stefano: You can leave, Elvis. I'm finished with you.

E.J.: I don't think I'm finished with you. Thanks, Father.

Stefano: Mmm. Well, tell me something. What's left to say, aside from my reassurance that your young, blond girlfriend and the rest of those Bradys will get their just rewards?

Sami: I wouldn't be too sure of that, Stefano.

E.J.: What in God's name are you doing?

Sami: Guess who I borrowed the gun from?

E.J.: Please, Samantha, just calm down.

Sami: Stay away from me. You've done your homework. You know I know how to use one of these. You haven't answered my question.

Stefano: Why should I care where you got that dime-store prop pistol?

Sami: Because it's my father's.

E.J.: Okay. All right.

Sami: This is my father's gun -- Roman Brady. You remember him?

Stefano: Yes, of course, ever so fondly.

Sami: Well, this gun is here to make sure that justice is served.

E.J.: Samantha, please. Let's not do anything that we regret, okay? Just put it down.

Sami: E.J., I promise you I won't regret this.

Stefano: Why are you just standing there like an idiot, Bart, huh? You see that the girl is unstable. Disarm her.

Bart: Okay.

Sami: Get away from me.

Bart: You're unstable.

Sami: Don't come any closer. I'm warning you! Stop it!

Bart: [Screams] Jeez! Aah! She shot me! She really shot me!

Sami: Who's next? Don't make me do this!

Bart: Call Dr. Rolf.

Sami: Shut up! Not another word out of you! My father is in the hospital. He could have died because of you and André and your whole stupid family and this whole miserable feud!

Stefano: I'll tell you what. Let's be rational, my dear, all right? Just put the gun down.

Sami: Oh, shut up. I've decided it's time for justice -- an eye for an eye. And to my mind, that takes two DiMeras to make up just one Brady. So I think I'm gonna start with you, Stefano DiMera, the head of the whole DiMera family.

Chelsea: Give yourself a break, Nick. Yeah, you lied to me a few times, but you only did it to protect me.

Nick: Or my job.

Chelsea: Well, yeah, but, I mean, if the police commissioner could forget about that stupid hairbrush --

Nick: Stop making excuses for me. There was a lot of things I wasn't honest about. Not even just with you -- with Lucas and Sami, people at work.

Chelsea: Wait a second. What do you mean with Lucas and Sami?

Nick: You know that DNA test I was supposed to do to establish the paternity of Sami's babies.

Chelsea: And you couldn't do it because my Grandma Kate was blackmailing you.

Nick: And she made me fake a report to say that E.J. Wells was the father.

Chelsea: You should do another test. I mean, E.J. could still be the father, but what if he's not?

Nick: He's not.

Chelsea: He's not?

Nick: I did run the test again -- or I had them run.

Chelsea: So the father is Lucas? Nick, did you tell them? They're gonna be so excited.

Nick: Yeah, I mean, I couldn't live with myself otherwise.

Chelsea: I'm glad you told them.

Nick: Thanks.

Chelsea: So I guess your boss is gonna find out about everything, huh? I wonder what he'll say.

Nick: "You're fired."

Chelsea: Come on, Nick. They're not gonna fire you.

Nick: No, they already did. But, you know, maybe Aunt Maggie will hire me as like a bartender or something. I mean, maybe I'll have time to help you out with this whole Steph thing.

Chelsea: No. I don't want you to worry about that. That's my problem.

Nick: Honestly, Chelsea, think of it as my way of repaying you for all of the crap I put you through.

Chelsea: No, Nick. Honestly. It's out of the question. Jeremy. Hey. Guess this is a popular place tonight.

Nick: Hey, man.

Jeremy: Sorry, guys. I interrupt something?

Adrienne: Steph?

Stephanie: Oh, thank God you're here.

Adrienne: Oh, sweetheart. Of course. Feels like it's been ages since I've seen you.

Stephanie: I know. It's my bad. I've just been busy with work.

Adrienne: As soon as things settle down, you are coming over to our house for dinner. The boys have been asking about you.

Stephanie: Tell them I said hello.

Adrienne: They miss their cousin.

Stephanie: And I miss them. Which is why it will be so totally great when you say yes to this.

Adrienne: Is this mine?

Stephanie: Yeah.

Adrienne: Thank you. So, what am I saying "yes" to?

Stephanie: Letting me move in with you guys. Okay, don't say anything. Just hear me out first, okay? It would only be temporary. I promise. It basically just would be a place for me to sleep, especially until school starts. And I'm a complete neat freak. I buy my own food. And, hey, if you ever need to go anywhere on the weekends, built-in house sitter. Great deal, huh?

Adrienne: What's wrong with your parents' place?

Stephanie: It's -- it's just -- it's too small for the three of us.

Adrienne: The suite in that hotel? I've lived in places half that size, sweetheart.

Stephanie: Just, lately, I feel like I've been getting in the way. I mean, it's been a hard year on my mom and dad.

Adrienne: I know, sweetheart, but they're pulling it together.

Stephanie: Which is why I think they need their own space, you know, the place to themselves.

Adrienne: Honey, I wasn't born yesterday. Why don't you tell me why you really want to move out?

Stephanie: Wouldn't it be nice to have another female around to watch reruns of "Sex In The City" with?

Adrienne: It would be great, and I'd love to have you --

Stephanie: Oh, my God. You are a lifesaver.

Adrienne: Wait, wait, wait. You know I'm gonna have to talk to your parents about this first.

Stephanie: Are you serious?

Adrienne: Yes.

Stephanie: I don't need their approval.

Adrienne: You may not, but I do, especially if I want to stay on speaking terms with my brother, sweetheart.

Stephanie: No, please. Don't call my dad.

Stefano: This? [Laughs] This is the woman that you love, Elvis?

Sami: Can it, Stefano.

Stefano: Are you gonna just stand there and let her really kill your father? I thought I raised a man. [Chuckles] I guess I was wrong.

E.J.: Look. Samantha, look at me. We can discuss this. Nobody else needs to get hurt.

Sami: Shut up, E.J., 'cause I will shoot you.

E.J.: This isn't any way to settle our differences. You're pregnant. Don't put your children's lives at risk.

Sami: They already are at risk, and I am going to shoot every member of this family, every DiMera that has ever tortured the Bradys.

E.J.: Samantha, we can work this out together. We can find a way -- hey, look at me. The two of us, we can settle our differences. Please, we can end this vendetta.

Stefano: This vendetta is not going to end! I submit to no one. Now, if Samantha wants to shoot me, then I will make it easier for her.

Sami: [Breathing heavily]

Stefano: Go ahead, my dear. Pull the trigger. You cannot miss.

Adrienne: All right. Maybe we can work something out here. But first you need to tell me why you don't want me to call your father.

Stephanie: [Sighs] We got into this huge fight earlier. I just -- I walked out on him. I can't deal with him right now.

Adrienne: Let me guess what the fight was about. Jeremy.

Stephanie: What else?

Adrienne: Steve hasn't warmed up to him?

Stephanie: Dad hates him. He even ordered me to stop seeing Jeremy.

Adrienne: Oh, boy.

Stephanie: So now do you see why I'm so upset?

Adrienne: I know that Steve wasn't really high on Jeremy from the get-go, but I thought he was cutting him some slack. Did something happen to change that?

Stephanie: It's totally lame.

Adrienne: Okay.

Stephanie: Dad went all undercover and found out that Jeremy has a record.

Adrienne: Jeremy has a record?

Stephanie: It's minor stuff. He was really young.

Adrienne: Yeah, he's so much older now, honey.

Stephanie: He just had a few checks that sort of...

Adrienne: Bounced?

Stephanie: A little.

Adrienne: What else?

Stephanie: He -- he kind of set up this fake charity.

Adrienne: And he was the worthy cause?

Stephanie: But he knows he was wrong. He's a changed person. I swear.

Adrienne: I'm sure. I'm sure. What did he serve time for?

Stephanie: He sort of stole a car, but just for a joyride.

Adrienne: Grand theft auto?

Stephanie: You're taking Papa's side, aren't you?

Adrienne: No! No, no, honey. But I can understand why he'd be so concerned.

Stephanie: I've heard the stories, Aunt Adrienne. It's not like my dad was exactly Mahatma Gandhi.

Adrienne: No, no, he wasn't. But my brother grew up in a very violent and chaotic situation, and he managed to turn his life around. Jeremy, on the other hand, has had two loving parents and every one of his needs always met. You can't even begin to compare the two.

Stephanie: Why can't anybody see Jeremy the way I do? Why won't anybody cut him a break?

Chelsea: We were actually just talking about...

Nick: Earthquakes. Did you actually know that the largest quake in the U.S. actually happened right here in the Midwest? The new Madrid -- accent on the first syllable. 1811 and 1812. It actually changed the --

Jeremy: Great. Fascinating stuff, really. Jett told me you'd be here. I got your paycheck.

Chelsea: Thank you. That's -- that's really nice.

Jeremy: Yeah, well, I'm a nice guy, despite what a lot of people think. Been a lot of rumors about me lately. Steph said you heard quite a doozy.

Chelsea: Oh. I really try not to pay attention to that stuff.

Jeremy: Look, we both know what Max told you. Try getting your facts straight before you go running off to Steph, okay?

Stefano: What are you waiting for, my dear? Let's get it over with. You wouldn't be the first Brady to commit murder.

Sami: Shut up.

Stefano: You can follow in your grandfather's footsteps.

Sami: I said shut up.

Stefano: He would be very, very pleased with you, Samantha. As a matter of fact, the whole family will. You know what they may do? They may even give you a medal for bravery.

Sami: That's enough.

Stefano: Right through the heart. Huh? Even a child could make this shot. Even a trained seal.

E.J.: Please. Samantha, I'm begging you. Don't do this. Don't lower yourself to this. Is this what you want? You're a good person. You're a good mother. Do you want to have your children taken away from you? Do you want to give birth to them in jail? Please, don't yield to your anger.

Sami: Say goodbye, Stefano.

Lucas: Sami! No!

Sami: No! No! Let me at him! I want to finish him! [Crying] No! No! Lucas, no! [Sobbing]

Stefano: Destroy them, Elvis. Destroy them all.

Adrienne: Honey, your father just wants to protect you.

Stephanie: Yeah, whatever.

Adrienne: Try to see it from his point of view. He's missed out on your entire life -- family vacations, your first day of school, graduation. He wants to make up for lost time.

Stephanie: By forbidding me to see my boyfriend?

Adrienne: When you're a parent, you will understand.

Stephanie: When I'm a parent, I'm gonna listen to my kids and trust them. Papa doesn't even know what I need from him.

Adrienne: All right. What do you need?

Stephanie: I need for him to trust me and believe in me and let me make my own decisions.

Adrienne: What happens when you get hurt?

Stephanie: So what? I'll know better next time.

Adrienne: You have an answer for everything, don't you?

Stephanie: Yeah, kind of.

Adrienne: Oh, boy. Okay, on one condition, and it's a deal-breaker. We share a bowl of popcorn and watch Leno every night.

Stephanie: So you're letting me move in? Thank you, aunt Adrienne!

Adrienne: It's gonna be fun. You're gonna be like the daughter I never had.

Stephanie: Okay, wait. And just one small, tiny, little favor. I just want to know if you'll be there for me when I move out of my parents' place.

Adrienne: Pushy little thing, aren't you?

Stephanie: I like to call it perseverance.

Adrienne: I'm sure you do.

Stephanie: So...will you?

Adrienne: Please don't make me regret this. Please.

Chelsea: I'm really sorry, Jeremy. Stephanie's my friend. I was just trying to protect her.

Jeremy: Yeah, well, that's what her boyfriend's for. So you go do your thing and let me and Steph do ours, okay?

Chelsea: Okay.

Jeremy: Are we cool?

Chelsea: Yeah, we're cool.

Jeremy: Good. Now, don't go spending that all in one place.

Chelsea: What is that supposed to be, some kind of threat or something?

Nick: See, that's why you should let me handle Stephanie.

Chelsea: What if you get caught?

Nick: I'm not gonna get caught -- stealth all the way. I'll do a little digging, and I'll report back.

Chelsea: You would do that for me?

Nick: Chelsea, I'd do anything for you. Don't you know that by now?

Sami: Give me back the gun. E.J., give me my father's gun.

Lucas: Stop it right now, Sami.

Marlena: Your babies. You -- you're responsible for all this violence, you and your stupid vendetta.

Stefano: Elvis, what are you waiting for, huh? We've been threatened. It is nothing less than self-defense.

Bart: Give me the gun. I'll do it.

Stefano: Go ahead. Now make them pay. Our home has been invaded. Elvis, I order you.

E.J.: Go home, Samantha.

Stefano: Ugh. You call yourself a DiMera. You are nothing more than a coward.

E.J.: I said go home! Get out!

Sami: You will pay for this. I swear to God. Stefano, I will be back, and I will make you pay for this if it's the last thing I do!

Chelsea: Thank you, Nick. You are the best. But promise me that you will get out of there if Stephanie gets the least bit suspicious.

Nick: The least bit, I'm out of there. So, does this kind of mean we're, like, friends again?

Chelsea: Yeah, I guess. Just don't pull any of that, you know, "will you marry me?" Kind of stuff.

Nick: Okay. Well, could I ask you to a cup of coffee?

Chelsea: That sounds nice.

Nick: You still a white chocolate mocha kind of girl?

Chelsea: No. It's kind of late. I'll be up to dawn.

Nick: Okay by me. It'll give us more time to... talk.

Adrienne: I better tell your uncle what's going on before you show up with your suitcases.

Stephanie: He'd probably really like to know.

Adrienne: And you'll let me know when you want to talk to your parents.

Stephanie: Yes.

Adrienne: This is really gonna be fun.

Stephanie: I know. Uh, Jeremy.

Jeremy: Hey.

Stephanie: Guess who has a new address?

Jeremy: Really?

Stephanie: Aunt Adrienne's letting me crash at her place.

Jeremy: Nice.

Adrienne: How are your parents?

Jeremy: Good, I guess. I haven't really talked to either one of them in a while.

Adrienne: You're a lucky boy. They're very good people. Don't ever forget that. Okay. Love you, sweetie.

Stephanie: Love you more. I'm sure I'll see you soon.

Adrienne: Very soon. Count on it.

Jeremy: What's her deal?

Stephanie: I don't know. Sure it's nothing. Come on.

Jeremy: So, you sure you're down with this? Mean, living with relatives can really suck.

Stephanie: I thought you liked living with Bo and Hope.

Jeremy: Yeah, I groove to the 6:00 A.M. sound of a baby crying. Thank God I'm out of there.

Stephanie: Aunt Adrienne has plenty of room. Besides, it's all part of my plan. As soon as I'm living with Aunt Adrienne, it'll get my dad off my case.

Jeremy: Get him off mine while you're at it.

Stephanie: And you know what? I've been thinking about what you said earlier about how we shouldn't live together. And I've decided it'll be good not to be around you 24/7 because then it'll make you want me even more.

Jeremy: I can't imagine wanting you more than I do right now.

Stephanie: Mmm. Jeremy.

Jeremy: What? I don't see a sign that says no PDA’s allowed.

Stephanie: Mmm.

Jeremy: Let them die of envy.

Stephanie: You're so bad.

Bart: Hey, I'm bleeding pretty good here, boss.

Stefano: Go. Go find Dr. Rolf. [Sighs] As for you, Elvis... you have cut the cord. There's nothing I-I can do to help you now, huh? André will take care of the rest of the Bradys and -- and you. May God have mercy on your soul.

Sami: [Crying]

Marlena: Sami, Sami. Listen to me. You weren't yourself tonight. Your emotions just got the best of you. That's all.

Sami: But he would be dead, and our problems would be over.

Lucas: And our children would be born in prison. Is that what you want?

Marlena: No. No, that's not what you want. We have to get you home.

Sami: No. No, I want a family meeting. I want to talk to Uncle Bo and John and --

Marlena: No, not now.

Lucas: You need a good night's sleep first.

Sami: I want to find out right now what happened in Ireland and what started this mess.

Lucas: Tomorrow. I promise.

Sami: No, it's not soon enough. [Cellphone rings] I can't see my dad like that.

Lucas: We'll deal with it, no matter what.

Sami: What if he doesn't make it?

Lucas: Don't you think like that.

Sami: Lucas, I don't know what I'll do. I don't know what I'll do. Lucas, please.

Marlena: He's out of surgery.

Sami: What? Is he okay? Please say he's...

Marlena: He's a very strong man, Sami.

Sami: Oh, thank God. Oh, thank God!

Stefano: If you do this, I will destroy you with my own hands.

E.J.: I would do anything for you, Samantha.

Tony: There is something I would like to have that's in your possession.

André: And what would that be?

Tony: My life.

Santo: Stay here.
