Sami: Dad. Hi. Don't tell me. I recognize the look. Look, I can explain.

Roman: You can explain, huh, that you stole a confidential surveillance disk out of my office, one that showed Kate and E.J. having sex?

Sami: Well, I knew you'd be angry, but --

Roman: Sami, I'm way past angry. I'm about to arrest you. I am so tempted to put handcuffs on you. What the hell were you thinking?

Sami: I was thinking about paying Kate back for what she did to me.

Roman: Are you still talking about that bogus TV show she set up to make you look bad?

Sami: Yes, I am!

Roman: Sami, listen to me! Nobody saw that damn show. At least a thousand people saw your little stunt, not to mention the reporters who put it on the newswire.

Sami: Better her than me, Dad, and that is what it came down to. Look, she turned it around, okay? She's probably gonna end up with more investors because of it.

Roman: Really? Is that why she is threatening the department with a lawsuit, one, to be very honest with you, we'd lose?

Sami: Really?

Roman: Sami, I'm so damn disappointed in you, and I thought this stupid, ridiculous behavior was in the past. I thought you were finally somebody I could trust, even admire... but apparently I was wrong... again.

Nick: And you guys understand nobody can know about this, right?

Max: Yeah, we got it. We were never here. So, what's the story, Nick?

Nick: I managed to extract a bone-marrow sample from the remains, enough to do a forensic analysis.

Mimi: Oh, God.

Nick: I'm sorry, Mimi.

Mimi: Oh!

Nick: The DNA is a match. The bones belong to your father, David Lockhart.

Chelsea: Abby, I am telling you, it was absolutely amazing. I mean, Nick and I -- we had this awesome time in Canada together. Looking back on it, it was really dangerous and everything, but Nick was cool, you know? I mean, not rock-star cool, but ... No. No. He surprised me, that's all. I mean, he was like this geeky James Bond, only instead of a gun, he had brains, and he was just -- he was great -- uh,,

Abby: Mm-hmm.

Chelsea: Oh, hey, my mom's here. Mom.

Billie: Hey. Were your ears burning? I just saw Bo and Hope, and they were going on and on and on about how you helped out Belle and Shawn in Canada, and they said you really helped them.

Chelsea: Really?

Billie: Really. And Hope also wanted me to tell you that she's sorry she ever doubted you, but she is gonna tell you that in person when she sees you.

Chelsea: Wow. I never thought that Hope would want to see me about anything.

Billie: Well, you've come a long way, baby. Come here. I am so proud of you.

Shawn D.: Hi!

Belle: Say, "hi."

Shawn D.: Hi!

Belle: You got up awfully early this morning.

Shawn D.: I went in the ship's store, and I bought us some swimsuits and stuff.

Belle: You tell him, "daddy, you shouldn't be spending money on stuff like that."

Shawn D.: Come on, Belle. It's a nice day outside.

Belle: Right, and it's safe right in here.

Shawn D.: Come on. You worry way too much. Nobody on this ship is looking for us.

Belle: Except the ship's doctor.

Shawn D.: Yeah, what about?

Belle: We told him we were gonna show him Claire's immunization papers this morning.

Shawn D.: We tell him we still can't find them, just like I said. It's gonna be a lot easier to hide from him out there than it is in here. No, don't.

Kendrick: I got your message, Dr. Deardon. What's going on?

Dr. Deardon: I'm not quite sure, captain, but I think there's something off with the couple in that cabin.

Kendrick: Meaning what, exactly?

Dr. Deardon: I'm not exactly sure. I just think we should check it out and make sure they are who they say they are.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Celeste: Hi.

Abe: Hey.

Celeste: Grand-mère is here with some goodies. Hello, my darling.

Abe: You know, I was trying to call you on your cellphone.

Celeste: Oh, I left it in the car while I was shopping. Why?

Abe: I wanted you to buy a small box of, uh... valentine candy.

Celeste: Oh. I must have been reading your mind, huh?

Abe: Yeah, I'm sure you were.

Celeste: Groceries as ordered, and look what I have... for Theo.

Theo: Thank you.

Celeste: You are very welcome, my love. Hey, and guess what. Now, come here for a second. Come here. Let grand-mère tell you something. Come. Come, come, come. Now, when you're done playing, if daddy says it's okay, how about you and me taking a walk to the ice-cream store?

Theo: Yay!

Celeste: Yeah! Okay. We will. Darling, um, have you heard anything?

Abe: No. No. There's, uh, there's nothing to hear.

Celeste: Abraham, I don't agree. Now, from the depths of my soul, I just don't believe that Alexandra would just leave Theodore of her own free will, or you.

Abe: I don't want to believe it, either, but till I hear something to the contrary, I have to take everything on face value and let it go.

Celeste: Well, that's just not easy to do.

Abe: I know.

Celeste: How are you doing? Are you taking care of yourself and taking your medicine every day?

Abe: I'm not really concerned about that at the moment.

Celeste: I know. Theodore, yes?

Abe: He asks about his mother every day. "When's she coming home?" I'm just running out of things to say. And what's worse...I'm afraid that pretty soon I'm not gonna be able to take care of my son anymore.

Celeste: Darling, are your eyes that bad?

Abe: They're worse than ever, and I don't know whether or not I'm gonna have an eye transplant again. I don't know. And then, emotionally, Lexie's vanishing act with Tek -- it's just -- it's just kicked the air out of me.

Celeste: Well, you know that I'm here to help you any way I can.

Abe: You know, Theo -- he -- he needs somebody to be there -- to read to him, have fun with him. I don't know. I-I just --

Celeste: Hey, listen to me. You are his father, who he loves more than anything. You're his rock, Abraham.

Abe: Well, this rock is crumbling pretty -- pretty fast. He needs an adult... with two good eyes to see him through this. I was thinking, I mean, just -- just for a while, that he could come to live with you.

Sami: That's an awfully short leash, Dad.

Roman: Now, what the hell do you mean by that, Sami?

Sami: I do one little, bad thing to a woman who despises me, and that erases all the good I've done.

Roman: I didn't say that.

Sami: You didn't have to. You implied it. What about the citation that you gave me for saving Lucas' life? Are you gonna take that away from me, too?

Roman: Sami, don't you try to turn this around, okay? Don't turn it around on me. What you did to Kate was way over the top and inexcusable.

Sami: What she did to me was a whole hell of a lot worse. You might not want to believe that, but it's true. I have been through hell with that woman. I'm not asking for her to be my friend. I just want her to leave me and Lucas and Will alone, but she can't do that, can she? And this stupid phony TV show proves it.

Roman: All it did was prove you couldn't lift the beam off of Lucas' leg.

Sami: You don't believe me.

Roman: Let me finish. All it proves is you couldn't a damn beam off Lucas' leg because you weren't in the same life-threatening situation you were then. What Kate did to you was a cheap trick. What you did to Kate was public humiliation.

Sami: Sorry, Dad, but I cannot apologize for what I did to Kate. But if she wants to sue someone, it should be me, and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that you don't take the blame for what I did.

Roman: Really? Really? Well, Sami, I don't know how in the hell you're gonna do that. I really don't know how you're gonna do that.

Sami: Sure, you do, Dad. You said it yourself when you first came in. Cops should always trust their first instincts, right, Dad? I think you should arrest me. I did the crime. I am more than willing to do the time.

Dr. Rebert: Hey, Nick.

Nick: Hey, Dr. Rebert. I was just cleaning up.

Dr. Rebert: That's fine. Just keep doing what you're doing.

Nick: Is that the ad for the new lab assistant?

Dr. Rebert: Mm-hmm.

Nick: You haven't found anyone yet?

Dr. Rebert: We had a handful of applicants, but once they saw what the job was or what it paid, they all headed for the hills, so what we're gonna do is run an ad in that paper.

Nick: Abby. I'm in huge trouble, and I need you right away.

Chelsea: Mom, I am really glad that you are proud of me and everything, but there is still some reality I have to face here.

Billie: Like what?

Chelsea: Well, I am enrolled in college now, and I'm gonna need a way to pay for it.

Billie: Oh. Hey, speaking of that, I'm working on a great job opportunity that could open up some doors for us.

Chelsea: Well, that's great for you, and I hope it works out, whatever it is, but I was thinking that it might be time for me to start taking care of myself.

Billie: I'm sorry. Who are you? Really. What happened to the girl who was always looking for a handout?

Chelsea: I guess she just grew up -- kicking and screaming, yes -- but, yeah, I guess that's what happened to her.

Billie: Well, I like that girl.

Chelsea: Thanks. But I think you'll agree that we'll both like her a little bit more when she has a job.

Billie: Speaking of, did you see the hospital want ad in the paper this morning?

Chelsea: No.

Billie: "Lab assistant. Salem University Hospital needs someone to pick up and deliver samples. No experience necessary. And must be able to walk long distances." Hmm, well, not in those heels, but you can walk long distances, right?

Chelsea: Very funny. Seriously, though, you should have seen how much Nick and I walked in Canada and in that cold weather. I mean -- wait a second. Nick.

Billie: Yeah. What about him?

Chelsea: Well, he works here.

Billie: Right. That's right. You better call him before somebody else takes the job.

Chelsea: You don't understand. I already asked him if there were any openings, and he told me there weren't. Why would he lie to me?

Billie: You must have misunderstood him.

Chelsea: I did not misunderstand him. I asked Nick specifically, "are there any openings at the lab?" He said, "no, there are not any openings." That's exactly what he told me.

Billie: When did you ask him?

Chelsea: A few days ago, before we went to Toronto.

Billie: See? Maybe the opening came up while you were gone.

Chelsea: No, mom, he works at the hospital. He would have known if there was an opening or not. Why wouldn't he give me the heads-up?

Billie: I don't know. I mean, he must have a reason. You know, maybe the job was already filled before the ad ran. That happens all the time.

Chelsea: Or maybe Nick just doesn't want me around.

Billie: Are you kidding me? The guy sweats like he's having a heart attack whenever you get within 10 feet of him. He definitely wants you around, believe me.

Chelsea: I don't know, Mom. I just find it all really weird that he wouldn't tell me. I mean, I thought that...

Billie: What?

Chelsea: Nothing. I just thought that we were actually becoming real buds, you know, like really good friends or whatever, and, I don't know, was I completely wrong?

Mimi: I can't believe those bones are all that's left of my dad.

Max: Did you know him at all?

Mimi: Not really. He wasn't much of a father, you know, not around a lot. Kind of irresponsible, I guess, but I always felt that he loved me, and I loved him.

Max: It's kind of funny how that works. You had every reason not to love him, but he's your father, right?

Mimi: I knew he was out there somewhere -- "out west," my mom always told me -- and so I fantasized about what he was doing and thought that maybe someday I'd see him again and -- and he'd be proud of me and -- and he'd be sorry for all the years that he was away.

Max: I am sure that he was proud of you, Mimi.

Mimi: I'll never know now, and I don't even know how he died, except my mother and my brother obviously had something to do with that.

Max: It kind of looks that way.

Mimi: They killed him, Max. Why else would they steal his skeleton from the crime lab and bury it in the backyard if they've got nothing to hide?

Max: Maybe we should go to Abe about this.

Mimi: I don't know.

Max: We kind of owe it to him, Mimi. He went way out of his way to set up this lab test. Plus, he already knows about your mom and Conner, anyway.

Mimi: Because I told him.

Max: Which was the right thing to do. Don't you want to find out what really happened to your dad?

Mimi: Of course I do.

Max: This might be the only chance that you'll get to find that out. It's your family, your call. I can't make the decision for you.

Celeste: Abraham, darling, look, I know you're in a lot of pain, but I'd never expect you'd want me to take Theodore.

Abe: You know, I never thought I would make such a request, but I have to think of what's best for Theo.

Celeste: Look, I love my grandson and I would love to have him in my home, but I just --

Abe: But?

Celeste: I'm just worried that he would miss you terribly, on top of feeling abandoned by his mother. And, you know, I'm not sure that you should live alone.

Abe: Are you telling me I should hire a live-in nurse?

Celeste: Or a resident psychiatrist. I mean, I'd be a lot cheaper than a nurse, and I could do things for you, Abraham. I could cook the meals and make sure all the bills were paid, but most important, I would be here for Theodore, and he wouldn't have to feel like he was losing his father in the bargain. I think it's the perfect solution. What do you say, huh?

Belle: You scared me to death. Where'd you get that stuff?

Shawn D.: While you and Claire were laying around, I entered a diving competition, and I won all this cool stuff.

Belle: Well, all right! Give me five! So, you're hanging out with us now?

Shawn D.: Yep.

Belle: Well, the sun feels awesome. The roll of the waves actually put me to sleep earlier today.

Shawn D.: Yeah. I feel like one of those rich guys in the movies, where you just lay back in your lounge chair and everybody's waiting on you.

Belle: Yeah, it's kind of like "Titanic," but with a happier ending, definitely.

Shawn D.: Yeah.

Belle: Claire and I had -- oh, hi, baby -- Claire and I had such a good time today. We actually swam. We talked to people. She actually made some friends in the kiddy pool with those twins from Montreal.

Shawn D.: Did you remember to tell them that --

Belle: Yes, I remembered. I was sally. She was Lucy Ann. Don't worry. I just wanted to tell you that we definitely needed this. You were right.

Shawn D.: Well, this is how our life's gonna be from now on. No matter where we end or how we get jobs or a place to live, this is gonna be it -- Belle, Shawn, and Claire. We're gonna be happy together.

Billie: I'm sure that there is a very good reason why Nick didn't tell you about the job opening. I know that he wants to have you around, but maybe he was afraid to recommend you because you're a little inexperienced.

Chelsea: Mom, the ad says "no experience required," and it's not like I'm stupid, unless Nick thinks I am.

Billie: You are taking this way too personally.

Chelsea: You think?

Billie: You are bright and intuitive, extremely smart, and I'm sure that Nick sees that, too, now that he's spent some time with you.

Chelsea: Or maybe now that he's spent some time with me, all he sees me as is some wild, crazy thrill chick who's too wild to work at some boring lab.

Billie: Hey, I thought you told me that Nick was the one who was taking all the risks.

Chelsea: Oh, yeah. Nick's full of surprises. Did you know that he did the deed with some older woman?

Billie: What? What -- what older woman?

Chelsea: You know, I would have bet my life on it that Nick was a virgin, but he swears that this woman rocked his world one night, so...

Billie: Did he tell you that?

Chelsea: Well, no, not in those words. I mean, I tried to ask him about it, but it just got all weird, so I let it go.

Billie: Good. That's -- you should let it go. Good decision.

Chelsea: But I'm not gonna let this go.

Billie: What do you mean?

Chelsea: What I mean is if Nick lied to me about the job because he doesn't think I'm gonna take it seriously, then I need to assure him that I am. But if he lied to me about the job because he doesn't want me there, I'm just gonna corner him until he tells me why. Yeah, I'm going to the hospital.

Billie: Want some moral support?

Chelsea: That might be good. You can keep me from strangling him.

Abby: All right. I'm here. What's so important?

Nick: Oh, my God. Abby, my life is falling apart. The house of cards -- it's tumbling down.

Abby: What happened?

Nick: Okay. I didn't get Chelsea a job at the lab because I couldn't have her running into Dr. Rebert, who she would think was Dr. Shane Patton, who's actually me, right?

Abby: True, but I thought that was all figured out.

Nick: So did I, especially because I told Chelsea that there weren't any jobs at the lab. End of problem, right?

Abby: Right, just like we talked about.

Nick: Wrong. This went out in the paper this morning.

Abby: What is it?

Nick: Chelsea's definitely gonna see this, because I know for a fact she's looking for a job, and the first thing she's gonna think to herself is, "why would Nick lie to me?"

Abby: What's gonna be your answer?

Nick: I don't know. That's why I'm asking you. I don't have one.

Abby: Yes, you do, Nick -- the truth. You finally have to tell Chelsea the truth.

Roman: Oh, Sami. Put your hands down.

Sami: Come on, Dad. You said you wanted to arrest me. Well, here's your chance.

Roman: I already put that disk back in the evidence file, and when Kate cools down, she'll realize a lawsuit is not in her best interest.

Sami: So I'm off the hook?

Roman: No. It just means you're not going to jail. But if something like this happens again, I'll forget I'm your dad, and all bets are off. Now, you listen to me, all right? You will stay away from Kate. You will stay away from E.J. And, oh, by the way, does Lucas even know about this?

Sami: Not yet, but I am going to tell him.

Roman: Well, I just hope this latest prank of yours doesn't hurt your relationship, because Lucas does love his mom, Sami, despite her eccentricities.

Sami: "Eccentricities"? Dad, someone who's eccentric has not Kate -- she's the bride of Satan. Oh. No offense.

Roman: None taken. I just don't want you to lose a good man over revenge, Sami. Oh, revenge will feel good for five minutes or so, but you will regret it the rest of your life.

Sami: I will back off Kate if she will.

Roman: No, Sami. You will just back off -- period.

Sami: Da-- Lucas.

Lucas: Easy. Easy. What's going on? What's the matter? What was that for?

Sami: I have to tell you something, and...I don't think you're gonna like it.

Kenneth: Okay, here you go. Two smoothies. I brought you some papers and some soft candies for the baby.

Shawn D.: Thank you.

Kenneth: You're welcome, Mrs. Perkins, Mr. Perkins. I hope your cruise has been a happy one. If you need anything, my name's Kenneth.

Shawn D.: Thanks again. I like this whole "Mr. and Mrs. Perkins" thing. Do you realize that we are married in the eyes of the ship's personnel? I think maybe I should go get some fake little rings -- inexpensive ones -- and we could really pull this lie off.

Belle: Yeah, I don't think anyone's looking for rings.

Shawn D.: Oh. I for-- I forgot to tip him. Are we -- are we supposed to tip on a ship or no?

Belle: I don't know, but we don't really have money for tips. I guess we should get our own next time probably.

Shawn D.: Oh, wow. Wow, look at that line of islands out there. Isn't it beautiful?

Belle: Oh, my gosh. Yeah. It's gorgeous.

Shawn D.: So, here's what I was thinking, all right? The ship's making a port-of-call stop in New Mexico, New Caledonia, this afternoon, right before we hit Australia. I was thinking maybe we could go hiking for the day.

Belle: I don't think so. Philip could be anywhere.

Shawn D.: If there is such a thing as a middle of nowhere, then this is it. Philip -- he can't be everywhere.

Belle: I don't care. No.

Shawn D.: Okay. I guess we'll stay on board until we dock, then.

Belle: Oh, my God.

Shawn D.: What? "Missing couple sought in child's abduction."

Belle: Oh, my God. Somebody's gonna see this. Someone's gonna recognize us. It looks like Mariah Carey is styling everybody.

Shawn D.: This article is so small, nobody's even gonna recognize us.

Belle: I'm going back to the cabin.

Shawn D.: You're overreacting.

Belle: I don't care. I am going back downstairs, and I am not coming out until this ship docks in Australia.

Nick: What if I say something like, "I lied because you're so beautiful and it would distract me from my work"?

Abby: No, Nick.

Nick: Yeah. It would get me off the hook about the job, and Chelsea would think it was kind of charming that she made me so nervous.

Abby: No, she won't.

Nick: Why are you being so difficult, Abby?

Abby: Because it's over. It's gonna be over the second she gets that job and runs into Dr. Rebert, who, coincidentally, looks like her beloved Dr. Patton.

Nick: I would figure out something.

Abby: Like what?

Nick: I don't know. I would just keep them apart for a really long time, or I would say, "yeah, Dr. Rebert looks very much like Dr. Patton, but it's not him. It's like a doppelganger."

Abby: A what?

Nick: Doppelganger. It's somebody who looks exactly like somebody else, only it's not them -- him. And Dr. Rebert won't say anything to her because he doesn't know who she is. Dr. Patton will have already blown her off --

Abby: Which means you'll be there to commiserate, and she'll come crying on your shoulders, telling you how much she misses him, who's really you.

Nick: Yeah. It's like a Zen thing. It's a very eastern approach.

Abby: No, it's not, Nick. It's a recipe for disaster.

Abe: I'm very grateful for your offer. That's very generous of you.

Celeste: Then you accept?

Abe: For Theo's sake, I do. Thank you.

Celeste: You know, Abraham, I pray every day for an explanation of what happened to Alexandra. I mean, both you and I need -- we need a resolution, you know? Closure of some kind. But I truly believe that if you, me, and Theodore stick together, we'll have that someday... and hopefully soon, darling.

Lucas: So, go ahead. Tell me about this bad thing that you did.

Sami: Lucas, I'm sorry, okay? I know you're gonna be upset, and I thought it was a bad thing, but I didn't think it was really that bad, but --

Lucas: Yeah, my mom called me, Sami.

Sami: She did?

Lucas: Yeah, she did. I could barely make out a word in between all the screaming and the 4-letter words. I got a good taste of what happened.

Sami: I didn't plan it, okay? I didn't plan ahead to do something --

Lucas: What are you talking about?

Sami: I was at my dad's office, and he left me alone.

Lucas: Listen to me. I think it's great.

Sami: You do?

Lucas: Yeah, I do. When my mom told me, I laughed so hard I almost drove off the road. That would have sucked 'cause Philip would have killed me. I borrowed his car.

Sami: Wait. So you're not mad at me?

Lucas: Hell, no. I'm not mad at you. Listen, I think my mom and E.J. got exactly what they deserve.

Abe: Hey. Max. Mimi.

Max: Hey, Abe. I hope it's okay for us to come here.

Abe: Oh, sure. Sure. What's up?

Mimi: Well, we have some information, and we thought you would understand.

Abe: All right. Come on. Come on in.

Max: Thanks.

Abe: I'm assuming this is about the DNA test on the skeleton.

Mimi: You're right.

Abe: And?

Max: It was Mimi's father, David Lockhart.

Abe: Are you sure about this?

Mimi: The DNA matched mine.

Abe: I'm sorry, Mimi. Uh, you know, I'm no longer in a position to handle this case, so you're going to have to talk to Roman and give him this information. Look, I'm sorry, Mimi, but we can't ignore the fact that your brother and your mother could be involved in a homicide.

Billie: Here's one for a secretary. That could be me.

Chelsea: Please.

Nurse: Here you are. The form is fairly self-explanatory. But if you have any questions, I'll be at the nurses' station.

Chelsea: Thank you. Oh, is Nick Fallon working today?

Nurse: I'm not sure, actually.

Billie: Thank you.

Chelsea: Is this stupid? I mean, should I still be applying for this job if Nick doesn't want me here?

Billie: Would you quit making such a big deal about this? When you talk to Nick and assure him that you'll do a great job, he'll go to bat for you.

Chelsea: Okay. It's a job. I need a job.

Billie: Yes.

Chelsea: Oh, my God. They want to know if I've ever been convicted of a felony. Mom, what do I put down?

Theo: Daddy!

Abe: Hey! Come here, big man! Yeah! Oh! So, how was the ice cream, huh?

Theo: Good.

Abe: Oh? Yeah.

Celeste: He had chocolate chip with cookie dough.

Abe: Ooh. Chocolate chip with cookie dough. That ought to fill your engine for the rest of the day, huh?

Theo: Yep.

Abe: All right. You ready to take that coat off? Okay, go take your coat off, all right? There you go. Yes. Thank you, Celeste. He's very happy around you.

Celeste: Well, we'll see the next time he wants some sweets and I say no, huh?

Abe: So, did you talk to him about moving in?

Celeste: Yes, I did, and he seems very excited about it.

Abe: Good. Good. So, you can bring your things in any time, as soon as possible, and you'll have the master bedroom.

Celeste: Oh, no. Listen. That's your room, and I don't want you giving it up on my account.

Abe: The truth be told, I just can't sleep there anymore. It's too painful.

Sami: Lucas, if you're upset or mad at me, you can tell me the truth, okay? I understand. You have a right to be.

Lucas: Honey, I am not mad at you. Trust me, all right? My mom tried to bust you, and you got her back. It's only fair. It's eye for an eye.

Sami: So -- so you think I did the right thing?

Lucas: I don't know about that. I mean, I would have done a few things differently myself, but, yeah, I think it's great, you know? I told my mom to stop butting in our business. I told her that right before I hung up on her. And you -- I don't want you to ever lose that fire you got inside you, because that's why I love you so very much.

Sami: Just as long as it's not directed at you, is that right?

Lucas: That would be right. That would be the exception.

Sami: So -- so it's okay, right? You're -- you're okay with this?

Lucas: For the last time, I'm fine with it. Listen to me. I love you. I'm not gonna let my mom ruin our life anymore, all right? You are my priority -- you and that baby you're carrying and Will. It's the only thing that matters to me. If my mom can't be happy for us, then that's it. She's out of our lives for good.

Shawn D.: Belle, you've got to calm down. We're still hours away from Australia.

Belle: Forget Australia. We are getting off this boat in New Mexico as fast as possible. That ship's doctor is already suspicious, and somebody's gonna recognize that newspaper article.

Shawn D.: Belle, I know that you are upset --

Belle: I am not upset! I am terrified! We have to get off this boat!

Billie: Hey, you were not convicted of a felony. The judge gave you community service -- that's all.

Chelsea: So, what, should I check "no"?

Billie: Check "no." That's what I'd do.

Chelsea: What if they check with the police department?

Billie: Oh, come on. It's not like you're gonna be body guarding for the president. You're gonna be carrying blood samples up and down stairs. That's it. They're not gonna check. Trust me.

Chelsea: Maybe I should just ask.

Billie: Chelsea, what happened was nobody's business, all right? You don't have to talk about it. You don't have to say anything.

Chelsea: Oh, my God, Mom. That is him. That is Dr. Shane Patton.

Nick: Thank you for listening to me, Abby.

Abby: Sure. And maybe next time, you'll actually listen to me.

Nick: I listen. I just --

Abby: I know. You're hopelessly in love.

Nick: You want to come with me, watch my back?

Abby: You mean in case Chelsea tries to beat you up?

Nick: Something like that.

Abby: Sure. But it might not even be as bad as you think.

Chelsea: Dr. Patton! Oh, my God, it is you. Oh, my God.

Sami: Lucas, I will support you, I promise, the way that you supported me.

Lucas: I guess it's you and me till the wheels fall off.

Sami: [Laughs] You got it.

Lucas: Yeah. Come here for a second and warm up by the fire. It's cold.

Sami: So, um, are you still gonna take that job with Kate and E.J.?

Lucas: I guess I don't have much choice, do I? I told my mom I'd be there if she still wanted me there tomorrow, but she didn't seem to mind that I gave her an ultimatum about you.

Sami: I guess that's a good thing.

Lucas: Yeah, it's good. I still got to work with her and E.J., though. Fight it -- I'm gonna fight throwing things through windows in there. It's gonna drive me crazy.

Sami: Well, if it were me...

Lucas: You'd throw them both through a window, wouldn't you?

Sami: Lucas, I'm so glad you stood up to your mother. Thank you.

Lucas: You know, I was thinking. I've been thinking a lot about John lately in his coma, you know, and how Marlena just kind of sits there wondering if they're ever gonna have a normal life again. And Shawn and Belle -- I mean, everything they've been going through -- it's really been hard for them. It's taught me that you can't wait, you know? If you want something, you got to go after it now. You can't wait for the right time or the right place. And even though, uh, I lost my job and I have to take a job that I hate -- even though, uh, we just kind of got back together, and this year has been really hard on both of us -- this last year -- with all that said, it's just --

Sami: Lucas, is there a question in there somewhere? What are you talking about?

Lucas: Yeah, I-I do have a question. Will you marry me?

Shawn D.: Okay. I hear you. We're gonna get packed up. We're gonna get off the ship with the rest of the crowd. How's that?

Belle: Oh, thank you.

Shawn D.: I don't what we're gonna do on this island. We don't have any money. We're gonna have to find a place to hide out and get jobs.

Belle: We have each other, and that's what you said, right?

Kendrick: Mr. and Mrs. Perkins, we've discovered some problems with your passports.

Lucas: You can tell me, all right? Why are you so upset?

Chelsea: Nick, how could you do this to me?!

Steve: We're never gonna be happy till we find out the truth. Wells is the only one who can give it to me.

Philip: You're not taking my daughter anywhere. Did you really think I'd let you get away with this?
