Steve: Hey, baby.
Stephanie: So, what do you think? Am I gonna blow them away in Dayton?
Steve: Oh, the city will never be the same. As a matter of fact, the whole state of Ohio is gonna fall at your feet.
Stephanie: Just wait until I start winning races. Whoo-hoo!
Steve: Whoo-hoo! [Laughs]
Stephanie: So, Mom's still upset I'm leaving, isn't she?
Steve: Well, she's not the only one.
Stephanie: It's not that I want to leave. It's just that I love this so much. When I am on that racetrack, I feel more alive than any place in the world. Sort of a danger girl, huh? It's hard to explain.
Steve: No, it's not. I get it. As a matter of fact, you remind me of someone I used to know.
Stephanie: Yeah, who's that?
Steve: Me.
Kayla: Hey.
Bo: Hey, hey.
Kayla: Hey, hey. Well, I don't have much time to talk about whatever it is you want to talk about, because I have to get my baby girl to the airport.
Bo: Smiling on the outside, are you?
Kayla: Well, yeah. Does it show?
Bo: Yeah, a little.
Kayla: I got a big box of Kleenex in the car just in case. You know, speaking of baby girls, yours is beautiful.
Bo: Yeah.
Kayla: Got a name yet?
Bo: We're waiting for lightning to strike.
Kayla: Well, you better hope it strikes soon or she's gonna be going through life answering to doodlebug.
Bo: Yeah, I kind of like that.
Kayla: So, what about Shawn and Belle? How are they doing?
Bo: As well as can be expected. That's a -- I kind of feel responsible.
Kayla: Why? No one could know that, that judge would grant Philip temporary custody.
Bo: That's the thing. Victor knew.
Kayla: Do you think he paid off the judge?
Bo: Yeah, that's what I think. There I was telling Shawn to take it easy, play by the rules. Victor never plays by the rules. I should have known that. Hell, that's -- that's how I came into the world. He got ma pregnant -- didn't matter that she was already married.
Kayla: Did you talk to him?
Bo: I tried, but he wouldn't listen to me. I'm a mistake -- the son that should never have been born. Kay, he's always been a pathetic excuse for a grandfather to Shawn, and now he's trying to take his little girl away from him.
Kayla: What can I do to help?
Bo: Victor and his favorite son, Philip, are up to something. I got to find out what it is. I will not let him do this to my family.
Mimi: I'm telling you, Max, it was a valid passport in Claire's name with her picture in it. Victor must have had it taken one of the times Belle let him visit with her at his place. You're acting like you don't believe me.
Max: I just don't think we should be jumping to conclusions, that's all. Did Philip seem upset?
Mimi: Was he upset? Try ready to kill.
Max: So, did you ask him if he was gonna take Claire out of the country?
Mimi: Max, why else do you need a passport? She's too young to need a photo I.D.
Max: But did you ask him?
Mimi: Yes, I asked him. He yelled at me and said he'd have security throw me out if I didn't leave on my own. I am telling you, if somebody doesn't do something fast, Belle and Shawn may never see their little girl again.
Shawn D.: Hey. How are you holding up?
Belle: It's just really hard to see my dad like that.
Shawn D.: Yeah, I know. I know. Has there been any changes?
Belle: Well, I keep hoping, but no. Where have you been?
Shawn D.: I just went for a drive, nowhere in particular. Then I called the house, you weren't there, so I figured you'd be here. Did you get any sleep?
Belle: A little, but it's my mom's turn now. You know, she's been here day and night.
Shawn D.: Yeah, it must be hard on her.
Belle: It is. Actually, I think she's handling it better than I am, though. You know, I've always been able to turn to my dad whenever I was in trouble. And now that my daughter's gone, he can't help me. He can't hug me. He can't tell me, "everything's gonna be okay, Izzy."
Shawn D.: It is gonna be okay.
Belle: [Sniffles] Claire must be so scared wondering where I am and... I don't know how we're gonna get through the next 90 days without each other.
Shawn D.: We're not gonna have to. Here's what I'm thinking. We can play by the rules and we can lose our daughter. Or...we can play the same game that Victor's playing.
Belle: What are you talking about?
Shawn D.: We're gonna take Claire back.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.
Mimi: I didn't want to believe it, either. That's why I did some checking before I came over here. I called Victor's office and pretended to be a journalist.
Max: You did what?
Mimi: I said I wanted an interview ASAP, and his assistant told me that his last scheduled meeting is for tomorrow morning at 10:00 A.M. and then after that, he'll be unavailable. Guess why. Go on, guess.
Max: He's going on a trip.
Mimi: He'll be out of the country for two weeks, Max. And how much do you want to bet that he's taking Philip and Claire with him?
Belle: We're taking Claire back? How? What do you mean?
Shawn D.: I didn't just go driving earlier. I went to see Willow.
Belle: Why?
Shawn D.: I don't know. I guess I needed to hear from her why she lied about me on the stand. I'll give you three guesses.
Belle: I don't need three guesses. Victor paid her off.
Shawn D.: 10,000 bucks.
Belle: Shouldn't surprise anyone. And I'm sure he did it in cash so no one can trace it back to him.
Shawn D.: I can't believe that I got mixed up with that girl. I brought willow into this, Belle. How stupid was that?
Belle: It doesn't matter. It's over now. Just forget about it. We'll take the parenting classes. We will get therapy.
Shawn D.: And what? If we're good and we play by the rules, we get our daughter back?
Belle: Shawn, I have to believe that, okay? It's the only thing that keeps me going.
Shawn D.: It doesn't matter what we do, Belle.
Belle: What are you talking about? Is there something that you know that I don't know?
Shawn D.: Victor and Philip, they're planning on taking Claire out of the country.
Belle: No, they can't.
Shawn D.: They got her a passport. Mimi saw it at the mansion.
Belle: Why would Philip do that?
Shawn D.: Come on, Belle. Open up your eyes. Victor wants Philip to be Claire's real father. And that's exactly what's gonna happen unless we do something about it.
Belle: Do something, do what?
Shawn D.: Victor -- he's planning on kidnaping Claire, but we're gonna beat him to it.
Belle: No, we could lose her forever, Shawn.
Shawn D.: That's exactly what's gonna happen unless we act now. I am not gonna lose her, Belle. It took me a while to figure this out, but you and Claire, you are my life. You're my family, and I'm gonna fight for you with everything that I've got.
Steve: Yeah, you got your mama's good looks, her brains, her spirit. Looks like you inherited my need to push the envelope.
Stephanie: Is that a bad thing?
Steve: Depends on how hard you push and what direction you're going.
Stephanie: Well, I think this is the right one for me, anyway.
Steve: Racing cars. Pedal to the metal.
Stephanie: That's me.
Steve: Yeah. Not exactly what a daddy imagines for his little girl.
Stephanie: Well, I'm not a little girl anymore.
Steve: I know, I know. And I could stand here and give you a thousand reasons why you shouldn't go out on that racetrack again, but it wouldn't do any good. You couldn't stop yourself if you wanted to. It's in your blood, I guess.
Stephanie: I wish mom could understand me the way that you do.
Steve: Hey, you're her life, baby. You know, when I was out there in the wilderness trying to figure out where I belong, it was your mama who did all the heavy lifting. She just wants you to be safe.
Stephanie: Yeah, but she'd slap a protective helmet on my head day and night if she could.
Steve: I want you to be safe, too. But I know you were born to race those cars like they're demons chasing you. You're following your dream. That's all we're here to do, if we're lucky enough to have one. The best advice I can give you is don't ever let that fire inside y die.
Stephanie: I love you, Dad.
Steve: I love you, too.
Stephanie: Can I ask you something?
Steve: Sure.
Stephanie: How come you don't take your own advice?
Kayla: So, have you talked to Shawn?
Bo: No, he ran out of the courthouse before I could stop him.
Kayla: Where did he go?
Bo: According to Maggie, he had it out with Willow for lying about him in court.
Kayla: Well, that's understandable.
Bo: Yeah, I don't blame him for lashing out. Poor kid feels betrayed by the world. He's not too far from the truth.
Kayla: That's not true. Not by Belle, and not by you and Roman.
Bo: Well, there you go. Two cops -- neither one of us could do anything to help him.
Kayla: Shawn is mature enough to know that --
Bo: To know what, huh? That if he got enough money and you don't give a damn about the truth, you can get anything you want in this world? You can even take a little girl from her parents.
Kayla: You want me to talk to him?
Bo: No. It won't do any good. He's made up his mind.
Kayla: What do you mean by that?
Bo: He talked to Hope. Said if the judge ruled against him, he and Belle were gonna run away with Claire.
Kayla: They can't do that.
Bo: Kay, he's changed a lot in the last couple of years. You get kicked in the teeth enough by this world, you do everything you can to keep that from happening again.
Kayla: What are you gonna do?
Bo: I'm gonna protect my son...from himself.
Belle: How did everything get so crazy? Just a few weeks ago, you and Claire and me were finally starting to feel like a family and my mom and dad were back together happier than ever. Everything was great. Now every-- I haven't been away from Claire since the day she was born. I just feel like I'm losing everything.
Shawn D.: We're not gonna lose her. But we've got to act now.
Belle: You mean run away with her.
Shawn D.: Well, that is the only choice.
Belle: Where would we go?
Shawn D.: I don't know. I haven't figured it out yet, but wherever we go, it's gonna be far away from Salem as possible. We'll change our names, and I'll get a job doing whatever. The three of us are gonna be together and that's what matters.
Belle: My dad is in a coma. What's my mom gonna do? Are you saying that we would never see our families again?
Shawn D.: Or we never see Claire. That's the option.
Belle: But the judge said --
Shawn D.: Exactly what Victor wanted him to say, just like Willow went up on the stand and she lied. You play by the rules and you lose. We're running out of time, Belle. We've got to make a decision now. Are you with me or are you not?
Max: So, just how do you suppose we help Belle and Shawn get Claire back?
Mimi: I was hoping you could think of something.
Max: Oh, I already have. It's impossible, forget it.
Mimi: I thought you were a man of action.
Max: I am when I know my chances are good, but this is just crazy.
Mimi: Why?
Max: Because Philip already saw you look at the passport, right? We've already lost the element of surprise. Victor's probably doubled the number of guards, and the place is an armed fortress as it is.
Mimi: Dorothy got in.
Max: Dorothy who?
Mimi: Dorothy. She got into the witch's castle, even when it looked impossible, even when she was shaking in her sparkly red shoes. All she needed was help from her friends.
Max: That's great. That's really great. Hey, let's call the scarecrow and the lion to distract Victor while we swoop in and get Claire.
Mimi: It's not funny.
Max: Okay, fact -- Victor never drives himself anywhere. He has drivers and bodyguards ready to take the bullet at any time. Fact -- he has his own plane in his private hangar with 24-hour security.
Mimi: I don't care about any of that, and, obviously, you don't care about any of this.
Max: It's not that I don't want to help Belle and Shawn, Mimi. You know I do. But when the enemy's Victor, think about it, Mimi. Victor Kiriakis. Do you really think that we have a chance of going up against him and all his goons? It only took two -- two of them to wrap us up and to lock us in a basement. I'm sorry, Mimi, but that's the truth. We're out of our league.
Steve: Now, wait a minute. You're the kid. I'm the daddy. You're not supposed to be giving me advice.
Stephanie: Why not? How can you tell me to follow my dream when you're the one stuck in the mud, spinning your wheels, going nowhere?
Steve: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Come on now. I made it back to Salem, back to you and your mom. I wouldn't call that nowhere.
Stephanie: You're being deliberately dense. Why do men do that?
Steve: Don't they say men don't like to talk about this stuff?
Stephanie: You know what? Too bad. I'm your daughter, I'm grown-up, and I'm calling you on your life plan. Looking a little too safe to me.
Steve: Are you saying I'm boring?
Stephanie: No, just the opposite. You have that fire inside of you, too. You might want to check it before the pilot light goes out.
Steve: Mmm, hey, that's pretty harsh, young lady.
Stephanie: You know what? I'm tough like you and restless like you. And you're so restless, I worry if you don't figure out what you want, you might explode.
Steve: No. No explosions here. I got everything under control. You know what? When you get a little bit older, you will realize sometimes it's okay to pull back on the throttle a little bit.
Stephanie: Well, it's too much, Dad. You're playing it safe way too much. You owe it to yourself to break out. You know, there are places in the rainforest where you can walk on top of trees. Kilimanjaro's still there -- not so much snow left, but you know what? Men still try to test themselves by climbing her. So what about you, hmm? When's the last time you tried to test yourself?
Steve: What, being separated from you for the last 16 years, that wasn't enough of a test?
Stephanie: You didn't know who you were then. Now you do.
Steve: Okay. So, does your mom figure in this picture anywhere?
Stephanie: Of course she does. She's right by your side. Do you know when the Khmer Rouge left Cambodia, there was only one doctor left in the entire country?
Steve: Oh, I get it. So you're saying your mom and I need to take a little adventure, go out and conquer the world.
Stephanie: If you don't challenge yourself, you'll regret it. And you know I'm right. So, don't let that fire inside of you die, Dad.
Steve: Looks like you're not giving me any choice. Like daughter, like father, right?
Stephanie: That's right. Come here.
Steve: I'll try to make you proud of me, baby.
Kayla: So, you think that Shawn is avoiding you and Hope since all this happened?
Bo: Yeah, he won't answer either one of our calls. That's the problem with phones these days. You can always tell who's calling.
Kayla: Well, would it help if I called?
Bo: No. You and Steve -- you got too much on your plate.
Kayla: No, listen. You are my brother. Shawn is family. I never have too much on my plate.
Bo: Okay. Maybe he'll listen to reason if it's coming from someone else.
Kayla: Okay, all right. What do you want me to say?
Bo: Tell him that his mom and I are sorry for what happened in court.
Kayla: He already knows that.
Bo: Tell him anyway and offer to help him.
Kayla: Oh, no, let me guess. No questions asked.
Bo: That would be up to you.
Kayla: Come on, that's not fair. He's your son.
Bo: Yeah, so he'll be suspicious. He'll think I put you up to it, so you got to gain his trust. And if he is thinking about doing something dumb...
Kayla: Oh, you mean like maybe taking the law in his own hands? Gee, I wonder who he takes after.
Bo: Well, this time I don't want him to take after me. Talk him out of it.
Kayla: Can I dial now?
Bo: No, one more little thing. I love you.
Kayla: I love you, too.
Belle: You know I'll do whatever you want.
Shawn D.: I won't let you down. All right, well, let's go. Max and Mimi -- they're waiting for us.
Belle: Wait, can we trust Mimi?
Shawn D.: Yeah, we can. She knows how bad she messed up and she wants to make it better. And she's changed, Belle. And she's on our side.
Belle: Okay, let's do it.
Shawn D.: Let's go. [Cellphone rings] It's my aunt Kayla. My mom and dad probably put her up to this because I haven't been answering their calls.
Belle: What are you gonna do?
Shawn D.: I'm gonna put them at ease. Hello?
Kayla: Shawn. It's good to hear your voice.
Shawn D.: Hey, Aunt Kayla.
Kayla: Um, listen, I just -- I heard about what happened at the courthouse today. And I just wanted to let you know that Steve and I are really sorry and we're here for you.
Shawn D.: Thanks, but Belle and I, we're gonna get our daughter back.
Kayla: Oh, of course you are. Listen, as soon as that judge sees what great parents you are, you know -- this may seem like a long time right now, but when you get her back, nobody will take her away from you again.
Shawn D.: I don't mean to be rude, but I'm kind of in the middle of something.
Kayla: Oh, that's all right. Listen, I just wanted to let you know that your...your parents are thinking about you.
Shawn D.: Tell them not to worry.
Kayla: That's kind of tough 'cause you haven't returned their phone calls and that makes parents crazy.
Shawn D.: All right, Belle and I, we just -- we just need some time alone.
Kayla: Sure, sure. I understand that. Listen, Shawn, I just want you to know that...if you need anything, Steve and I are here for you, no matter what the situation is -- no questions.
Shawn D.: Well, thanks, but Belle and I are gonna be okay.
Kayla: Yeah, yeah. Is Belle with you there now?
Shawn D.: Yeah, she's right here. Listen, so, tell my parents that I'm gonna call them tomorrow. And thanks, Aunt Kayla. I really mean that.
Belle: What did she want?
Shawn D.: She just wanted us to know that she and Steve are here for us if we need them.
Belle: So, does she know --
Shawn D.: Oh, no, no. She said that anything we need, no questions asked.
Belle: Do you think we can trust her?
Shawn D.: Yeah, I think we can. And she and Steve, they've been where we are. Not the same situation, but they were on the run for years.
Belle: Yeah, and I don't think they were very happy, either.
Shawn D.: But they had no choice. And neither do we.
Mimi: I guess you're right. Who are we to go up against Victor? I just got so into wanting to help Belle and Shawn.
Max: I know, I know.
Mimi: I didn't stop to think how hard it would be. There's no way Victor would let any of us get close enough to take Claire.
Max: No, I'm sorry.
Mimi: Nothing I ever do in my life will make it up to Shawn. If it hadn't been for me keeping the lie going, he would have known he was Claire's dad a year ago and none of this would be happening now.
Max: You made a mistake.
Mimi: Don't let me off the hook. Some mistakes are too big to forgive and this is one of them.
Max: But Shawn's already forgiven you.
Mimi: I'll never forgive myself.
Max: Mimi...
Mimi: Don't try to make me feel better.
Max: I'm not.
Mimi: Yes, you are, and there's nothing that can make me feel better.
Max: I know one thing. Why don't we go get Claire back?
Mimi: But you just said --
Max: I know, I know. It's impossible, a million to one, so let's do it anyway.
Mimi: What made you change your mind?
Max: You wanting so badly to make up for what you did. Plus, I don't want to see you punish yourself for the rest of your life. Plus, we kind of owe Victor one, don't we?
Mimi: Thank you, Max.
Max: But that leaves one problem. How are we gonna make this happen?
Mimi: I could try talking to Philip again.
Max: No, no, no. He'll be expecting something. Plus, we don't have a lot of time.
Mimi: There's got to be something we're not thinking of. Okay, let's see -- they're leaving tomorrow morning.
Max: That's right. They're leaving tomorrow.
Mimi: I just said that.
Max: Why?
Mimi: I don't know.
Max: No, I meant why are they waiting, hmm? Why would Victor or Philip risk anybody else finding out, especially since you've already found the passport? They have their own jet. They could be halfway around the world by now.
Mimi: There's got to be a reason that they're waiting until tomorrow.
Max: After 10:00 A.M., right? That's what you said.
Mimi: Yeah.
Max: So, it has to be something they couldn't have gotten done today, something they couldn't have scheduled like that.
Mimi: Max, you're a genius.
Max: I am?
Mimi: Yes, you just figured out how we're gonna get to Claire.
Mimi: Max, you are so amazing. I don't know why I didn't think of this before.
Max: Okay, think of what before? [Doorbell rings]
Mimi: Right on time.
Max: [Clears throat]
Shawn D.: Hey, Mimi. Max. You know why we're here, right?
Mimi: I filled him in. Max is on board.
Belle: Thank you.
Mimi: We figured out a way to steal Claire back from Philip and Victor.
Max: This would be news to me, too.
Shawn D.: So what's the plan?
Mimi: Well, Max was wondering why Philip and Victor hadn't already left with Claire instead of waiting until tomorrow.
Belle: They're leaving tomorrow? How do you know that?
Mimi: Well, Shawn told you about the passport, right? Philip freaked out on me and hustled me out of there. And then I called Victor's office pretending to be a reporter to get an interview about whatever, and his assistant told me that he would be leaving the country for two weeks starting tomorrow. And that's when Max over here, who's brilliant, wondered, "why wait? Why not leave now?"
Max: I'm still kind of wondering what this brilliant thing is that ties it all together.
Mimi: Claire has to be immunized first.
Shawn D.: Wait, wait, wait. Hasn't she had all of her shots?
Belle: Yeah, she's had all her vaccinations, except the ones you would need if you were going somewhere exotic. Oh, my God. Shawn, they're gonna take her somewhere where we won't be able to find her.
Shawn D.: It's okay. They haven't taken her yet. And they're not going to.
Max: That was pretty good.
Mimi: Well, it was your idea. I just ran with it.
Shawn D.: Okay, Meems, so tell us -- what's the plan?
Mimi: Well, they're probably gonna have a doctor's appointment for her early in the morning.
Belle: Yeah, but if they were gonna give her a bunch of shots, they would call me first.
Max: Well, my guess is Victor made an appointment with some doctors at the hospital who've never seen Claire before.
Mimi: So, who's gonna call the hospital?
Belle: We can't.
Shawn D.: Belle's right. It's too risky. Victor's probably got the doctor paid off, too.
Mimi: Well, is there somebody at the hospital we can trust?
Shawn D.: Yeah, I know someone.
Kayla: You know, I don't think you need to worry about Shawn. He's very calm.
Bo: Calm? That doesn't sound right.
Kayla: No, listen, you know, Shawn is a man now. He's a father. I think that he realizes he can't just go around town losing control when he doesn't get what he wants.
Bo: They took his daughter from him. He's not calm, trust me.
Kayla: Why don't you trust him? Really. Trust that he's the son that you and Hope raised. And it wasn't just the two of you. The entire Brady family helped guide Shawn into adulthood, and he is a good guy. He's a fine son. Just like his dad. Listen, I really do have to go. What do you think would happen if I accidentally on purpose forgot to pick up Stephanie and she missed her flight?
Bo: She'd wait at the airport for the next flight.
Kayla: Yeah, I know.
Bo: Kay, she's on her way.
Kayla: I know.
Bo: Hey, Dayton's not that far off. And look, you listen to me all the time. I'm here. You need to talk, I'm here.
Kayla: That's what I love about you. You're always here for me.
Bo: Yeah. Oh, oh, if you do hear from my son, call me.
Kayla: I'll let you know.
Bo: You'll be fine.
Kayla: I got to do it. Okay, goodbye.
Stephanie: Mom's gonna be downstairs in a couple of minutes. I was gonna call a cab, but...
Steve: A cab?
Stephanie: I should have known better.
Steve: Oh, your mama has certain traditions, like crying at the airport.
Stephanie: Yeah, well, not me.
Steve: Well, you're too tough.
Stephanie: You're damn straight. I mean, I'm only leaving my whole family behind. Only a baby would cry about that.
Steve: My baby. It's okay. It's okay.
Stephanie: [Sniffles]
Steve: Come here. Think of the good things. I made it back, right? I'm not too big a disappointment, I hope.
Stephanie: [Laughing] Definitely not. So much better. You are so much more wonderful than I ever dreamed you would be. You're the father I always wanted.
Steve: You know, when I came back and I saw you after all those years...I knew you.
Stephanie: The red hair.
Steve: No, not your grandma's red hair. I knew you. You were there waiting in my heart the whole time. I'm so proud I'm your papa.
Stephanie: [Sobbing] I can't do this. I can't go.
Steve: You got to do it. You got to do it right now. Come on, let's do it. Yep, let's get it going here. Now, no driving over 200, you hear me?
Stephanie: I can't make any promises.
Steve: That's my girl.
Stephanie: Bye, Papa.
Steve: Bye, baby. You go get 'em.
Kayla: Hello? Hi, we're just a drive-by. We're not staying.
Caroline: Oh, no, no, no. Of course not. We don't want our Stephanie to miss her plane.
Stephanie: I have time. I could not leave without saying goodbye to my grandma and grandpa.
Shawn: No, no, come on. No tears, understand? [Cellphone rings]
Kayla: Oh, that's my phone. I'll just take this over here. Let me know when you're ready to go, okay? Hello?
Shawn D.: Aunt Kayla, are you alone? Can you talk?
Kayla: Shawn, yeah, hi. What's up?
Shawn D.: My parents aren't with you, are they?
Kayla: No, no, they're not. You know, we're at the pub. Stephanie's saying goodbye to your grandparents. Is something wrong?
Shawn D.: Did you mean what you said about helping Belle and me, no questions asked?
Kayla: I did.
Shawn D.: I need to know that I can trust you.
Kayla: Of course you can. What can I do?
Shawn D.: I need you to call the hospital and find out if Claire's getting immunized tomorrow morning.
Kayla: Who's her doctor?
Shawn D.: That's just it. We don't know. It's probably somebody that she's never seen before.
Kayla: Can I ask why she's being immunized? Okay, no questions.
Shawn D.: If you can't help, then I can --
Kayla: No, I didn't say that. I didn't say that. Just give me five minutes, all right? I'll call you back.
Shawn D.: All right, I'm trusting you.
Kayla: Five minutes, I promise.
Belle: Well? Will she help us?
Shawn D.: I don't know.
Bo: What is wrong with you? What's going on with you?
Steve: Aah! [Upbeat tune plays]
Steve: Something's not right with you, boy. What are you gonna do about it?
Maggie: Happy Birthday.
Bo: You've got me confused with somebody.
Maggie: Aren't you miss doodlebug's daddy?
Bo: Yeah.
Maggie: Yeah, well, this cupcake is a celebration of the day she was born. New dads seem to always get overlooked. So make a wish and blow out the candle.
Bo: I wish that John had never gone into that warehouse with E.J. Wells. I wish that my pop was my real father, not Victor. I wish that Chelsea didn't have so many issues. I wish that Zach...was in the first grade this year. And I wish that Shawn, Belle, and Claire were together and happy.
Maggie: I wish I had brought a bigger candle.
[Cellphone rings]
Shawn D.: Hello, Aunt Kayla? Are you there?
Kayla: Oh, hi. Um, listen, I called the hospital, and Philip has made Claire an appointment with a Dr. Kimberly tomorrow at 1:00.
Shawn D.: Oh, my gosh. This is great. Thank you so much.
Kayla: Listen, I know that I said that I wouldn't ask any questions, and I don't know what this is about.
Shawn D.: I appreciate that, Aunt Kayla.
Kayla: Good, well, then maybe you'll listen to me. Don't take on Victor Kiriakis alone. Whatever you're thinking, please let me help you. Call Steve. We are here for you.
Shawn D.: Thanks, but I got this handled. Don't tell anybody, okay?
Kayla: Don't tell anybody what?
Shawn D.: That we even had this conversation. I'm trusting you.
Kayla: Okay.
Shawn D.: All right, thank you. Appointment's tomorrow -- 1:00. That's when we get Claire back.
Steve: [Sighs] Stop it, man. Stop thinking about it. You get a headache, take an aspirin. What's the big deal? [Blues tune plays] Aah! [Banging] Aah! Aah!
Stephanie: You know, this is not goodbye.
Caroline: No, of course it's not. We'll be out there to visit you so often, you'll be sick of us.
Shawn: And keep your ear to the ground for a nice b-and-b for me and Caroline, eh? And...someplace sexy.
Caroline: Oh. [Laughs]
Kayla: Stop.
Stephanie: I love you guys so much.
Caroline: This is home always for you, darling.
Stephanie: Oh, God.
Caroline: Give her the car.
Shawn: Oh. Yeah, here. I tried to put you behind the wheel, but my eyes, they aren't what they used to be.
Caroline: He carved this out of rosewood. He's been working on it. He worked on it day and night.
Stephanie: I have the best family in the world.
Shawn: Listen...you're a Brady and that means something.
Kayla: Well, she's a Johnson, too, you know.
Shawn: Well, it's a first-rate combination. [Laughter] Come here. Oh, I love you.
Stephanie: I love you more. Both of you.
Kayla: All right, we should go.
Shawn: Stephanie? Remember, okay?
Stephanie: I'm a Brady.
Shawn: [Laughs]
Caroline: That's a girl.
Bo: Listen to me over here whining. And I'm a new dad. I've got a cute little doodlebug to love.
Maggie: But your firstborn is in pain. And it hurts you that you can't make it all better.
Bo: Yeah. I should be able to. Somehow I should.
Maggie: Well, why? Why? Because you think you're some kind of superhero?
Bo: No, just a dad.
Maggie: Shawn will find his way. I mean, you raised him with love and understanding. Now the rest is up to him.
Max: Before we get all hyped up about all this, we kind of got to find a way to get her out.
Belle: You're right. Victor and Philip aren't gonna just hand her over.
Shawn D.: Victor -- he's a powerful man, but he makes mistakes. And we can trip him up. I know we can.
Max: Well, whatever you need to help, we got it.
Shawn D.: Thanks, guys. Especially you, Mimi. If this works -- when this works out...
Max: Food. We can't think without. Pizza?
Shawn D.: Half pepperoni.
Max: Half black olive. Mimi, you know where the menus are, right?
Shawn D.: Hey, man, we can do this.
Max: Hell, yeah, we can. We got this.
Shawn D.: So, tomorrow.
Belle: 1:00.
Roman: Feel like making a trip?
Bo: Something tells me this is not a vacation. Where?
Roman: Mexico City.
Sami: Who is this? Make it quick.
E.J.: I prefer nice and slow myself.
Chelsea: Oh, my God. Abby, he just signed off. I don't get it. What did I say that was so wrong?
Stephanie: Is something wrong with dad?
Steve: Please don't say no. Help me.
