Nick: Okay, so, I've been ignoring Chelsea's e-mails and her IM’s. I've kind of been hoping she's gonna forget and give up on the whole Dr. Shane Patton thing.

Abby: Give up? Chelsea? Yeah, not until she gets what she wants from you.

Nick: She keeps begging me to figure out everything about this guy -- where he lives, where he works. It's driving me crazy.

Abby: And whose fault is that, Nick?

Nick: I honestly did not think she was gonna fall in love with the guy.

Abby: What else do you think would happen when you pretend to be some gorgeous doctor online telling her everything she wants to hear?

Nick: I don't know. Probably she'll kill me.

Abby: She's gonna kill you if she finds out that you slept with her mom.

Nick: Abby, I told you that only happened once.

Abby: Oh, right, that makes it all better.

Nick: You know, I'm sorry I ever told you about this. You're not gonna tell her, right?

Abby: No. Not about that. But you're gonna tell her that you're the guy on the computer.

Nick: I don't think I can.

Abby: I know who can. Dr. Shane Patton.

Nick: Oh.

Kate: Where are they?

Lucas: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

Sami: [Laughs]

Lucas: That's too fast!

Sami: Will, please! I love it!

Lucas: Are you scared? Oh, she's scared. She's down. Honey, are you okay?

Sami: I'm okay.

Lucas: Are you sure? That was fast.

Will: I swear we hit mach one coming down the hallway.

Lucas: At least.

Kate: Always a class act, aren't you, Sami?

Will: Hey, we were just having fun.

Kate: I know. I know what you're trying to do. I just expected a little bit more from your parents.

Sami: That's what real parents do, Kate -- have fun with their families.

Lucas: Yeah. Come on. Let's get in the room.

Sami: Yeah, good idea.

Victor: Your Honor, I give you my son, Lieutenant Philip Kiriakis, United States Marine Corps.

Philip: Your Honor, I'm Philip Kiriakis.

Marlena: Oh, I can't believe they're going through with this.

Max: Mimi and I spent weeks trying to track Philip down. He must have been with Victor the whole time.

Mimi: Why would Victor have kept such a big secret? Why not just admit that he was injured and was home?

Bo: 'Cause he wanted him to make this entrance. Victor orchestrated this whole thing.

Hope: I can't imagine the judge awarding custody to a man who walked out on his daughter's life.

Marlena: I can't imagine what kind of surprise he has in store for us next.

Bailiff: Raise your right hand. Do you swear that the testimony you're about to give will be the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God?

Philip: I do.

Judge Carlson: Lieutenant Kiriakis, are you well enough to testify?

Philip: Yes, your Honor. I am.

Belle: No. That's not Philip.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Mimi: How can Philip claim Claire is his daughter? Everyone knows she's Shawn's.

Max: He can claim whatever he wants, but it doesn't mean it's gonna happen.

Mimi: I have to talk to him.

Max: Philip?

Mimi: Yeah, he'll listen to me.

Max: No, no, no, Mimi. You can't go in there. Let's just go for a walk.

Marlena: I wish I could be in there with Belle.

Bo: Yeah, this standing around is driving me crazy.

Hope: Hey.

Bo: Hey.

Hope: I just spoke to your mom. The baby's doing fine. She's taking a nap right now.

Bo: How are you doing?

Hope: This is just so wrong. Shawn was lied to for so long, finally finds out he's Claire's biological father, and now they want to take her away from him.

Bo: [Sighs]

Marlena: Oh.

Bo: Oh, hey, Claire.

Hope: Hi, baby.

Bo: Could we see her for a couple minutes? We're her grandparents.

Beverly: I know who you are. You were with that madman with the eye patch who tried to tear the office apart.

Bo: Yeah, we don't want any trouble.

Marlena: All we want to do is visit with our granddaughter.

Beverly: Well, I'm sorry. You can't. The rules say the child is to be kept away from the family until the judge makes his ruling. I'm sorry.

Bo: Yeah, I'm sure you are.

Max: Here you go.

Mimi: Thank you.

Max: I thought I was gonna need a rope to keep you out of the courtroom.

Mimi: I just have a terrible feeling, Max, the way Philip appeared out of nowhere. I can't help but feeling that Shawn and Belle are in for an ugly battle.

Philip: It's me, Belle.

Shawn D.: No, that's not Philip. That's not Philip. They're trying to pull something here.

Judge Carlson: I think the court deserves an explanation, Mr. Kiriakis.

Victor: Your Honor, my son is a decorated Marine. He was seriously injured in Afghanistan and lost a part of his face. This is not the first time my son has given a part of himself for his country. He lost his leg in combat a few years ago, but he bravely returned to combat and was seriously injured again.

Judge Carlson: I appreciate what your son has been through, but are you telling the court that he actually has a new face?

Victor: I found a specialist in Montréal, where Philip received an experimental procedure to rebuild his face. He suffered great pain, came very close to dying. I have here all of the records of his operation, including DNA verification. Make no mistake. This is my son. This is Philip Kiriakis.

Philip: Your Honor, if I may speak?

Judge Carlson: Yes, go ahead.

Philip: It was my privilege, my duty, my honor to serve this nation. All I want now is to get back the family that was taken from me. I love Claire more than my own life. She's my daughter, not Shawn Brady's.

Nick: Do you realize that you sound like a crazy person? How is Dr. Shane Patton gonna break it off with Chelsea when he's me?

Abby: You can make up any story you want. Let Shane tell Chelsea that he's getting back with his wife or his first love or whatever you want to say.

Nick: That might work.

Stephanie: Hey, guys. Are you ready for some great news? I'm moving to Dayton to join a racing team.

Abby: Wow, Steph, that's awesome.

Nick: Oh, my God. Congratulations. That's great.

Stephanie: Thanks.

Abby: When are you gonna leave?

Stephanie: I'm taking off tomorrow. I just got my parents' blessing.

Abby: Wow. Well, we'll miss you.

Chelsea: Guess what, everybody. I've got great news.

Abby: You're moving, too.

Chelsea: Yeah, how'd you know?

Nick: Wait. What? You're leaving? You're leaving Salem?

Chelsea: No. God, Nick, sometimes you're just so lame. No, me and my mom are moving into our own apartment. No more crazy Lockharts.

Stephanie: Yeah, 'cause you know what? They're really awful, aren't they? I mean, all the Lockharts did was give you and your mom a place to stay when you had nowhere else to go.

Chelsea: What got your panties in a twist?

Stephanie: I guess you just bring out the worst in me, Chelsea. And you know what? Now that I'm leaving town, there's been something I wanted to tell you for a long time -- what kind of person I think you really are and why your life's gonna suck unless you make some major changes.

Kate: I just hope you didn't permanently injure your leg with all of that horsing around.

Lucas: I didn't permanently injure nothing. I'm fine, all right?

Sami: Lucas.

Lucas: And you -- you sign my cast. There's a pen right there. I want your autograph.

Sami: Oh, all right.

Lucas: You saved me. You got to sign it.

Will: Did you see the paper? Mom's a real hero. Pretty sweet, huh?

Kate: Well, that's not exactly the word I'd use.

Lucas: I said give her a break, okay?

Sami: Okay, Lucas, here you go.

Roman: Hey.

Sami: Dad!

Roman: There is my daughter, the hero.

Sami: Hi, daddy. Hey, did you get a chance to read The Spectator?

Roman: I sure did, and I'm very proud of you. In fact, I got a surprise for you.

Sami: What is it?

Roman: It is something that I think is gonna make some people in Salem think a little differently about you.

Roman: Hey, Lucas. How you doing, man?

Lucas: Good, thanks.

Sami: Dad, I don't get it. Just tell me -- what's going on?

Roman: Take a look.

Sami: But I don't understand.

Roman: Go ahead. Read it.

Sami: [Clears throat] "On behalf of the Salem Police Department, we would like to bestow on Samantha Gene Brady the order of the good Samaritan for her resourcefulness, courage, and selfless dedication to helping others."

Lucas: Yes!

Kate: Well, now I've heard everything.

Lucas: All right, that's enough, Mom. All right? Please.

Sami: How did you get this?

Roman: Well, you see, the Salem Police Department, we award civilian citations for bravery, good citizenship. You were selected. Now, there's gonna be a big presentation. The media's gonna be there. You will probably wind up on the 6:00 news.

Lucas: [Laughs]

Sami: Wow. This is incredible.

Lucas: You owe me, baby. I made you a star.

Sami: [Laughs] Lucas, stop it.

Lucas: Kind of.

Sami: Check this out.

Lucas: Let's see.

Kate: Honey, I'll talk to you in a little while, okay? Roman -- Roman, I need to talk to you in private.

Roman: Sure.

Lucas: That's amazing.

Sami: I can't believe my dad did that.

Will: Mom, I'm so proud of you. I mean, even the kids at school have been calling about the article. I feel like the son of someone famous instead of, well, you know.

Lucas: [Laughs] Yeah.

Sami: Will, I promise, I'm gonna make you proud of me from now on.

Kate: I have a bone to pick with you and the Salem P.D.

Roman: Kate, Sami deserved that citation. I may have pulled a few strings, but she did save your son's life.

Kate: Oh, my God. It is not about Sami. I got to my office this morning, and the doors were locked. I couldn't get in.

Roman: Well, the FBI authorized us to freeze E.J. Wells' assets. They want to cut off his money supply. It is standard procedure, Kate.

Kate: That business is not only E.J.'s. It's my business as well. My entire life is invested there. What's going on with that?

Roman: Well, you know what? I hate to be cold about this, but you did go into business with a suspected criminal.

Kate: I thought he was a race car driver.

Roman: You did, huh?

Kate: Mm-hmm. Look, Roman, I'm not the only one who was taken in by E.J., but I am the only one being punished for it.

Roman: You know what, Kate? I would love -- love to feel sorry for you. But it's just very, very hard for me to believe that someone as smart and savvy as you had no idea what they were getting into.

Bo: Miss Healy, we're not gonna take the baby anywhere. We just want to let her know that we love her. What's the harm in that?

Beverly: Rules are rules, Detective Brady.

Marlena: Miss Healy, what is Victor Kiriakis paying you? What is the going rate for destroying a family these days? Do you have a heart? Do you have a soul? Or did you sell those to Victor, also?

Beverly: I don't have to take this from you people. I will not be insulted.

Bo: Excuse me. I'm sorry. We're all just a little tense here. I understand. Your job is very difficult. I'm a cop. I know that rules are rules. They have to be followed. But sometimes you got to give people a break just to be fair. This little girl may be taken from us if the judge rules against Shawn and Belle, so why don't you just give us a chance to say goodbye to her, hmm?

Philip: Emotionally and legally, Claire is still my daughter. I kept up my relationship with her over the last few months while I was living at home, recuperating from my injuries.

Belle: And victor never told me that Philip was there when I brought Claire to see him.

Judge Carlson: Order, please.

Philip: The fact remains, we did spend that time together. And we remained as close as a father and daughter can be. Not only will I provide a loving home for her, but my father and I have resources far beyond the means of Shawn and Belle.

Dan: Your Honor, let me interject. Belle's family is also extremely well-off. I don't need to tell you that means and resources are hardly a criteria of a happy family.

Judge Carlson: Point taken, counsel.

Shawn D.: We don't need your help, Philip. We don't need handouts from daddy, and neither does Claire.

Philip: I know Shawn thinks this is terribly unfair. If I were him, I'd probably feel the same way, but this isn't about him or me or anybody else. It's about Claire and who will give her the best home and the brightest, safest future. I was Claire's father from the start. I fed her, clothed her, changed her diapers, rocked her to sleep at night.

Belle: And where was I? Where was I, Philip? I was your wife. And then you found out Claire wasn't yours and just ran away.

Philip: You gave me no choice, Belle. You took Claire away, moved in with your parents, and told me our marriage was over. I was devastated.

Shawn D.: So you just took off and you never even said goodbye to a daughter you said that you love so much?

Philip: I never stopped loving Claire, and I never stopped being her father.

Shawn D.: She is my daughter, Philip. You cannot have her.

Dan: Slow down.

Shawn D.: I'm sorry, your Honor, but this is my family that is on the line here, my life. That is what Claire means to me. I respect Philip's service to his country. I do. I can never be a war hero, but that's got nothing to do with how much I love my daughter. Please don't let him take her away from us. Don't let Philip and Victor poison her brain against Belle and me, because that is exactly what they are gonna do.

Victor: That's nonsense. I came to you and Belle and offered you a compromise for shared custody, and you threw it back in my face.

Shawn D.: You offered us a compromise? That's not how it works, Victor. We decide when you can see Claire.

Judge Carlson: Enough, all of you. I will consider the testimony presented today and render my decision shortly.

Philip: I didn't want it to be this way. I never wanted it to come to this.

Shawn D.: If I lose my daughter, I'm gonna make you regret this day for the rest of your life.

Stephanie: You know what you are, Chelsea? You are selfish and disrespectful of everyone around you, even people who, for some strange reason, like you. You never miss a chance to call someone a name, make fun of them, or generally hurt their feelings.

Chelsea: Is that it?

Stephanie: No. You might think you're hot stuff, but underneath, you are just a scared, angry little brat who would like the rest of the world to be as miserable as you are.

Chelsea: Well, I guess I've been told, huh?

Stephanie: Why do I even bother?

Chelsea: No, Stephanie, I'm really hurt. Can't you tell? You know, if you really are serious about moving, then maybe you should think about throwing a going-away party or something. Invite all your friends. That's right. Sorry. I forgot. You don't really have that many, do you? What?

Stephanie: You know what? I am just so happy I'm not you. You guys, I got to go.

Abby: Bye, Steph.

Stephanie: Bye.

Nick: Take care of yourself, okay?

Stephanie: I will. Please, come and visit me in Dayton, okay?

Chelsea: Yeah, there's nothing like a weekend getaway in the heart of Ohio.

Stephanie: I wasn't inviting you.

Chelsea: What is her problem?

Abby: Gee, I don't know, maybe you.

Nick: Stephanie is a good person, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's the greatest. Whatever.

Abby: So, Chelsea, how are things going with your internet boyfriend?

Chelsea: Oh, great. I'm about to go insane. I've tried practically everything I can think of short of sending him a computer virus to get his attention, and he still won't answer any of my e-mails or IM’s, so...

Abby: [Sarcastically] Oh, gee, how sad. Maybe it's time you give up.

Chelsea: Give up? No way. Actually, I've come up with a new strategy I think that's guaranteed to get his attention.

Will: Well, I got to go.

Lucas: Where are you going? Where do you got to go?

Will: The gift shop's got all these papers on mom's article. I figured each family member's gonna want their own copy.

Sami: That's sweet, Will. Come back. Hurry back.

Will: All right, see ya.

Sami: [Laughs]

Lucas: You all right?

Sami: He gets that from me.

Lucas: I guess you went up a few notches in his book, didn't you?

Sami: How about you? Did I go up a few notches in your book, too?

Lucas: You've always been number one in my book, honey.

Sami: Not always.

Lucas: Yes, always. It's true, even before you saved my unconscious butt from the snow and the cold and the bitterness of the world.

Sami: [Laughs] Lucas. Oh, my God. This is the happiest day of my life. I mean, I feel like my whole life changed overnight. I went from being this person that no one trusted or even liked to...

Lucas: Everybody loves you, Sami, really.

Sami: How can you lie like that with that smile on your face?

Lucas: They do. It's true. Just sometimes you're kind of your own worst enemy.

Sami: Mm-hmm.

Lucas: That's what I like about you.

Sami: Stop it. Stop it. All right, I have changed my life, Lucas. It's just hard because I feel like I don't deserve all the attention that I'm getting, you know? They're gonna give me this stupid plaque that says I'm a hero, and I'm not. I'm definitely not a hero.

Lucas: You are a hero. You deserve that, all right? You got a chance to start over, not just with me and Will -- with everybody -- your friends, your family, your mom and your dad. It doesn't matter what you've done in the past. None of that matters now. What you did -- what you did was so amazing, saving me like that. You wanted a second chance, baby. You got one now.

Sami: This is the part where you really want to tell me not to blow it this time, right?

Lucas: I'd prefer you not to blow this opportunity, yeah. That would be nice for me, save me a little headache.

Kate: This isn't fair. I get shut out of my offices. Sami gets a plaque and her face plastered all over the newspaper.

Roman: Kate, listen to me. Nobody told you to go into business with E.J. Wells. That was your decision. I mean, you knew he was being investigated. And even after you found out he had ties to the DiMeras, you stuck with him.

Kate: I want access to my office. I want access to my business accounts.

Roman: Talk to the judge, Kate. My hands are absolutely tied.

Kate: Oh!

Max: I don't understand what's taking them so long. This should have been a slam-dunk case for Shawn and Belle.

Mimi: I wish there was something I could do to help.

Max: Yeah, me too.

Mimi: [Sighs]

Max: What? What is it? What's wrong?

Mimi: Everything just feels so out of sync, you know?

Max: Yeah.

Mimi: Belle and Shawn should be home with their child. Victor should be in jail. I should be... never mind.

Max: No, go on. What? Tell me.

Mimi: I should be thinking about you and this wonderful new chance I have to start over. And I am. I do. Only...

Max: What?

Mimi: At night sometimes, that poor man we found in the basement, he haunts me, Max. I feel like I should know something about him, but I don't. I'm sorry.

Max: No, no, no. You're scared. You have every right to be. That skeleton kind of freaked me out, too.

Mimi: And now he's missing. There could be a murderer out there, and being a great big baby.

Max: No, look, the offer still stands, okay? If you want to stay at my place, you're more than welcome to whenever.

Mimi: Thank you.

Max: No matter what happens, I won't let anything or anyone hurt you. You got that?

Marlena: Miss Healy, all we want to do is spend some time with our granddaughter.

Beverly: I've already explained the rules. My job is to make sure --

Bo: I know about your rules and your job. I've worked with a lot of people from your office over the years. None have ever been so inflexible, so, tell you what -- you hang on to that. I'll hang on to her.

Beverly: What do you think you're doing? Give that child back or I'll get a bailiff to arrest you for obstructing justice.

Bo: You do whatever you got to do, lady. The baby stays with us.

Hope: Oh.

Bo: That's right. How are you, little pumpkin?

Marlena: Oh! You shouldn't have done that, but I'm so glad you did. Hi, baby.

Hope: We have missed you so much. Come here, you. Come here, my little baby bug. Oh, my gosh. We're just gonna pass you around 'cause we love you so much. Okay. Okay. Go back to Grandma Marlena.

Judge Carlson: I have given this matter a lot of thought. I want to be fair to all parties involved, and especially, I want to do what is right for Claire. And Philip and Victor Kiriakis have presented a strong case. Shawn Brady and Belle Kiriakis, I find that you have not exactly been model parents. Your behavior is especially troubling, Mr. Brady. On the other hand, a lot of young parents make mistakes. Therefore, I feel duty bound to give you a chance to prove that you are capable of caring for your daughter. I am ordering that Shawn and Belle take parenting classes and see a family therapist over the next 90 days. I want you to make every effort to clean up your lives, learn from your mistakes, become better parents. Do you think you can do that?

Shawn D.: Yes, absolutely, your Honor. We'll do anything -- anything for our daughter.

Judge Carlson: Good. In the meantime, while Shawn and Belle are working on their parenting skills, I am awarding temporary custody of Claire to Philip Kiriakis. We will reconvene back here in 90 days to make a final decision about Claire's future. Until then, she stays with Philip.

Sami: Will, did you buy every newspaper they have?

Will: Well, yeah, you know, we've got a big family.

Sami: Will!

Lucas: You're right. Hey, there he is. Dr. Gallaway, what's the good word?

Dr. Gallaway: You can go home. They're working on your release papers as we speak.

Lucas: Yes! All right!

Will: Hey, Dr. Gallaway, check out my mom.

Sami: Oh, Will.

Dr. Gallaway: Already seen it. Congratulations, Sami. Lucas, I want you to take it easy, stay on the physical therapy. Come back in two weeks, and we'll see how you're progressing. You're a very lucky young man.

Lucas: Thank you, doctor.

Sami: Thank you very much, doctor.

Lucas: He is right. I'm the luckiest man in the world.

Belle: You can't do this. You cannot take my baby from me.

Shawn D.: 90 days? Do you realize what a man like Victor Kiriakis can do to brainwash our daughter against us in 90 days?

Judge Carlson: Calm down, Mr. Brady. They are not taking the child away. You and Belle will get weekly supervised visits --

Belle: Supervised with my own daughter? I'm the only mother that she's ever known.

Judge Carlson: My ruling is final. We will meet again in three months to decide.

Shawn D.: Damn you! [Gavel bangs]

Dan: Hey, Shawn.

Kate: So, are they still in there?

Mimi: Why? Did you come to gloat?

Kate: I came here for my son.

Max: While you're here, Kate, you might want to flag down a lawyer and ask him about the penalties for kidnaping. Yeah. You were the one who called us to go down to the garage to meet you, except you never showed. And then a couple of Victor's goons locked us up in a church basement, where we almost died.

Kate: [Sighs]

Max: What, you thought we forgot?

Kate: I can assure you, I had nothing to do with that.

Max: Oh, sure, you did. We were close to finding the truth about Philip, so you needed to get us out of the picture.

Kate: Wow. Conspiracy theories are being hatched in the oddest places these days. As a matter of fact, I was there that night. You're the ones who never showed up.

Mimi: That's a lie.

Belle: Shawn, stop! Stop!

Beverly: Him. He took the child without proper authorization. I want that baby returned to me now, and I want Mr. Brady arrested.

Judge Carlson: All right, that's enough!

Abby: So, Chelsea, you have a new strategy on how to get Dr. Shane Patton's attention, huh? Boy, I'd love to hear this one.

Nick: Yeah, me too.

Chelsea: Well, I'm gonna tell him that I know his real name. And then if he still doesn't talk to me, well, I'm just going to hunt him down like a hound from hell and rattle his cage in person, so...

Nick: There you go. Guys love being stalked.

Chelsea: Like you know anything about anything?

Nick: No, go for it, Chelsea. It's a really good idea.

Chelsea: Thank you, Nick. I will.

Abby: And when Dr. Shane whips out a restraining order on you, we can be your character witnesses.

Chelsea: You know what's so great about you, Abigail? You're just so witty. But didn't anybody tell you that guys really don't like funny girls? Maybe that's your problem.

Abby: What about stupid ones?

Chelsea: Excuse me?

Abby: Never mind.

Chelsea: Look, I can't really stay long anyway. I have a lot to do, but I just came by, really, to ask you for a favor.

Abby: What?

Chelsea: I was kind of hoping that you could convince Max to give me a part-time job here.

Abby: You want to work here?

Chelsea: Yeah. Is that a problem?

Mimi: You didn't come to the garage. Abby and Nick showed up and called the police.

Kate: [Sighs] Well, that's my story, and you're gonna have to prove otherwise.

Max: Oh, we'll do better than that, Kate. This whole thing leads up to Victor, and if this thing goes sour, do you think that he's gonna protect you?

Kate: You know, someday, if you're both lucky, you'll have children. Then maybe you'll understand.

Sullivan: Ma'am, I'm gonna ask you to hand the baby over to the lady from child services.

Marlena: We meant no harm. We just wanted to spend some time with her. It's okay. It's okay. No, it's okay, baby.

Beverly: Come on, sweetheart. There you go. There you go. Arrest that man.

Sullivan: Hello, Detective Brady.

Bo: Sullivan.

Sullivan: You got the kid back. Forget it.

Beverly: What is this? Just because he's a cop, you let him get away with breaking the law?

Bo: Take care, man.

[Door opens]

Hope: You'd better deal with him, Bo.

Bo: Okay, okay. Shawn, what happened?

Shawn D.: They took Claire. They took her. We lost her.

Hope: Shawn, I'm so sorry.

Shawn D.: They want us to take parenting classes, and they said that we can't see her unless it's supervised, Mom, for three months. Three months!

Hope: Bo, do something. Isn't there anything you can do?

Bo: Shawn.

Hope: Shawn -- Shawn.

Kate: Oh, Philip. Oh, sweetie.

Mimi: Oh, my God. That's Philip?

Philip: I'm sorry it had to be this way. I really am.

Shawn D.: Get out of here now. Now!

Philip: I will, but I'm not leaving without my daughter.

Abby: Chelsea, I really doubt that Max would hire you.

Nick: Have you ever even had a real job?

Chelsea: What's with you lately, Nick?

Nick: Nothing much, just pointing out the obvious. Why? Is that a problem?

Chelsea: No. Thanks for the heads up, dork. Anyway, will you ask him for me?

Abby: I'll ask, but don't hold your breath.

Roman: I'm very happy for you. You're starting on a new chapter of your life, and it is a good one.

Sami: Thanks, Dad.

Roman: Okay, I'll arrange to have the award given to you tomorrow at police headquarters.

Sami: Hey, Dad, is there any way we could do it somewhere else?

Roman: I guess so. What do you have in mind?

Sami: I was thinking maybe we could do it at the pub.

Roman: Really?

Will: Oh, come on, Mom. You don't want to do it in front of a roomful of cops and the Mayor of Salem?

Sami: Well, it would be cool to have the mayor there, but I want to do it with my family, you know, to have mom there and Uncle Bo and Aunt Hope and grandma and grandpa. I want everyone to be there. A moment like this isn't gonna happen again.

Lucas: Not unless another roof caves in on me and I'm stuck in the snow.

Sami: That isn't gonna happen.

Lucas: No.

Sami: So, this is my one chance to impress everyone.

Philip: Hello, my beautiful girl. You're with daddy now.

Shawn D.: No, you're not, sweetheart. You've been stolen by a couple of thieves. We're gonna get you back, okay?

Dan: I'm so sorry. But with Shawn's outburst in there, all I could do was damage control and hope the judge would have stuck to his original decision.

Belle: [Crying]

Dan: Be grateful for supervised visitations, Belle. It is better than nothing at all.

Belle: Oh, my God. How can they do this, Mom? How can they take my baby?

Marlena: Belle, I promise you I'm gonna fight this thing. We will use whatever legal means available to get this turned around. Don't you worry. Don't you dare give up. We will get Claire back. Please, Philip, just give me my baby. Please just give her to me.

Victor: Come on, son. Let's go.

Belle: Please. The baby. You can't do this! You can't take my baby!

Mimi: Belle, I'm so sorry, honey.

Belle: [Sobbing]

Max: Look, man, if you need anything, you can call me.

Shawn D.: I know. Thank you. I know. I'm gonna see you at home, okay? I got somebody I need to talk to.

Bo: Shawn -- Shawn, if you go after Philip, you'll be making a big mistake.

Roman: You want to impress the family. Is that it?

Sami: Well, yeah. Come on, Dad. Let's be honest. I have let them down so many times.

Roman: Sami, hey --

Sami: And I've let you down, too. And this is my chance to be in the middle of something good for a change, you know? So, what do you say? Can we do it at the pub?

Roman: Let me work on it, okay, see what I can do. And once again, I love you very much, and I am very, very proud of you.

Chelsea: Come on, Abby. Max will listen to you. After all, you're like his little sister, right?

Max: I bought it a few weeks before Christmas, but after everything that happened, I forgot to give it to you. I'm sorry. It's kind of lame.

Abby: "Shakespeare's Sonnets."

Max: Yeah, I thought about buying you some gloves or a scarf, but I remember you like to read, so I asked a woman in the bookstore to help and told her a little about you. She said you might like this. Have you read it?

Abby: Yeah.

Max: I can take it back and exchange it for something.

Abby: No. No, I love it. They're -- they're my favorite.

Max: There's a card inside, too.

Abby: "Here's wishing you a Merry Christmas to my dearest Abby -- a friend, confidant, and the closest thing to a little sister I'll ever have.

Max: Yeah. What? What's wrong?

Abby: I am not your little sister, Max. I am a woman.

Abby: What?

Chelsea: Great, so, while you're working on Max, I'm gonna go home and help my mom unpack in our new place. God, I just know my life is turning around. Soon I'm gonna have a great new job and a great new life as Mrs. Doctor Shane Patton.

Abby: I don't know why I just don't smack her.

Nick: Why? 'Cause she's so hot?

Abby: You are hopeless. And you better return those e-mails ASAP because she's gonna track you down if you don't.

Nick: Yep.

Abby: How Clint Eastwood of you.

Nick: I'm gonna take your advice, Abby. The next time Chelsea writes to Shane Patton, I'm ending it.

Bo: I mean it, Shawn. Don't go after Philip. Don't give him another reason to keep your daughter from you.

Shawn D.: Don't worry. I'm not gonna go anywhere near him. I got somebody else that I need to talk to. Belle... I'm sorry.

Belle: It's not your fault.

Shawn D.: No, it isn't, not anymore. And I can tell you right now that this isn't over.

Marlena: I'm taking Belle home. Come on, honey. I've got your stuff. Come on. I've got you.

Mimi: I'm gonna go talk to Philip.

Max: You heard Bo. We shouldn't make things worse.

Mimi: Don't worry. I won't do anything stupid.

Max: I'll go with you, then.

Mimi: I need to do this by myself. I'll meet you back at your place later, okay?

Max: All right.

Victor: Now you have Claire. I'll see to it that Belle and Shawn never get her back.

Kate: I can help you, too.

Lucas: You're gonna help me leave Salem?

Kate: No, I can help you leave Sami.

Willow: I'll make you a deal. I'll come clean and get your daughter back. I'll even give in the 10 grand. You got to do a little something for me.

Shawn D.: What?

Willow: Kiss me.

Philip: No one was a dirtier fighter than you were, Meems. So if this is anyone's judgment day, it's yours.
