[Music playing]

Brooke: (Laughs) Okay.

Ridge: (Exhales)

Brooke: Whoo!

Ridge: Logan, you're working me to death here.

Brooke: I know.

Beth: All right, you two, enough. We tried to keep up, but I just don't--

Brooke: Mom, you were hot. (Laughs)

Beth: (Laughs) That's 'cause I have a good partner.

Stephen: Yeah.

Brooke: Well, I'm glad to see you two having fun.

Stephen: Well, how could we not be? Our daughter is getting married tomorrow.

Beth: Oh, honey.

Stephen: You know, Ridge, I would give you some advice about her, but I have a feeling you've heard it all already.

Brooke: Only twice.

Beth: (Chuckles) Oh, you look so happy, honey.

Brooke: Oh, I am happy. This is the best night of my life. (Laughs)

Ridge: Well, for now. 24 hours from now will be the new best night of your life.

Beth: Oooh. (Laughs)

Stephen: Okay. I don't need to hear this.

Brooke: (Giggles)

Nick: Ah, just the man I'm looking for. Thank you very much. Hello, Bridget.

Bridget: Oh. Hi.

Nick: You look amazing.

Bridget: Thanks.

Nick: You did a great job with the party.

Bridget: Thanks. I know.

Nick: Would you care to have a friendly dance?

Bridget: I don't think so, Nick.

Jackie: She looks absolutely stunning, doesn't she?

Nick: She always looks stunning.

Jackie: No regrets?

Nick: I regret I hurt her.

Jackie: Nothing more?

Eric: Katie. Quite a party, huh?

Katie: Yeah, it's great.

Eric: How's Donna?

Katie: How do you think she is?

Eric: Would you, uh, would you give her my best?

Katie: Do you know how that would make her feel better?

Eric: She's with Owen now, right?

Katie: No, she's never been with Owen. Why would she be with him now? Excuse me.

Felicia: Whoo! (Laughs)

Thorne: Well, I see you still remember those moves I taught you in high school.

Felicia: Uh, who taught who those moves?

Thorne: Yeah, that's not how I remember it.

Felicia: Well, that's because you're gettin' old.

Thorne: (Scoffs) Ouch.

Felicia: Mmm. Speaking of old, I wish Mom would get here.

Thorne: Yeah. This must be really tough on Taylor.

Felicia: Tough on both of them. Neither were too excited about this wedding.

Thorne: (Chuckles) That's an understatement of the year, huh?

Stephanie: I made chamomile for you... to help you sleep.

Taylor: Okay. Thank you. You really don't have to stay here.

Stephanie: (Chuckles)

Taylor: I'm fine.

Stephanie: Do you think I'm that excited to get over to the party?

Taylor: Oh, no, but your absence will be noted.

Stephanie: That won't be the end of the world.

Taylor: Yeah, but Ridge-- he'll know. He expects you there.

Stephanie: He'll get over it. I'd rather be here with you.

Taylor: You know what's strange? There's actually this part of me that is still hoping that Ridge is going to walk up to the door, come in here and tell me that he wants this back. I don't know what's wrong with me.

(Indistinct conversations)

Steffy: Come on.

Marcus: Okay.

Steffy: (Exhales)

Marcus: Ohh! You want something to drink, babe?

Steffy: Yeah-- yeah.

Marcus: Babe, what's wrong?

Steffy: Whoa. Um-- in a minute. I-I just had a weird feeling. I don't--

Rick: Phoebe? (Grunts) Phoebe? (Sighs) (Groans) God. (Groans) Phoebe? Phoebe? (Groans) Phoebe? (Groans) Phoebe? Phoebe? Oh, my God. Phoe-- (groans) Phoebe? Phoebe? Phoebe? Phoebe? Oh, my God. Phoebe? Phoebe, come on! Phoebe? Oh, my God! Come on! Phoebe!

(Slow music playing)

Ridge: Could this evening possibly have turned out any better?

Brooke: No. Well, maybe if Rick had shown up.

Ridge: He still might.

Brooke: I am so impressed with this new attitude that you have towards Rick.

Ridge: You know what it is? There's nothing he can do to get in our way anymore, do any harm to us. We're gettin' married tomorrow, Logan. Nothing's gonna stop that... next to maybe a tsunami on the beach.

Brooke: (Laughs) Don't even say it.

Ridge: Okay.

Brooke: (Laughs)

Marcus: You know, I have to admit, those two really look happy together.

Steffy: Yeah, I guess. You know, I really wanted my mom and Dad to end up together. But they do seem happy, like us.

Marcus: Well, this would have been the perfect night, except for that news you gave me about Rick.

Steffy: I know. I'm sorry I told you. I really am.

Marcus: No, you should have told me. I needed to know. I mean, the guy sends me off to Paris with all high hopes to learn about International. Come to find out that he's only making a clear path to make a move on my girl. Does Phoebe know about this?

Steffy: Yeah, I told her. I didn't want her to find out from somebody else.

Marcus: Man, that must have hurt.

Steffy: Yeah. She's so down on him, it's scary. I'm starting to worry about her. I hope she gets here soon.

Rick: Come on, give me a pulse. God. Come on. Phoebe, you've got to be alive. Come on!

Katie: No, don't worry about it. I'm sure he'll be down for the rest of the night. Okay. We'll be home soon.

Katie: Yep. He is the perfect child after all, especially when he's with us.

Nick: Well, we'll have him for a few weeks and test that.

Katie: I know. Wouldn't it be great if Brooke and Ridge extended their honeymoon?

Nick: That's not gonna happen. She will be so sick of that stiff after two weeks. Anyway, we have Jack, and that's all that matters. Let's dance, baby.

Katie: All right.

Stephen: (Speaking indistinctly)

Eric: Are you two having a good time, enjoying the party?

Beth: Oh, we're having a wonderful time, Eric.

Eric: Good.

Beth: It's just terrific. And Brooke and Ridge-- their love and their energy-- I mean, it's just all over the room.

Stephen: Just sorry that our other daughter couldn't be here to enjoy it.

Eric: I'm sorry, Stephen, that it didn't work out between Donna and me.

Stephen: Really?

Beth: Gentlemen, please, okay, this is a party. It's not a debate.

Eric: Well said.

Beth: To Brooke and Ridge.

Eric: Brooke and Ridge.

Bridget: Okay, thank you. Please do.

Woman: Miss Forrester?

Bridget: Yes?

Woman: Let me know when you're ready to have dinner served.

Bridget: Oh, um, goodness, it's getting really late, isn't it?

Woman: Shall we gather the guests?

Bridget: I don't think everyone's arrived yet. You know, , I'll let you know.

Woman: Okay. Yes, ma'am.

Rick: Come on. Come on! Phoebe, don't die on me. Come on!! Yes, there's a heartbeat.

Taylor: What was it, a-a pipe dream, Stephanie? Is that what it was? I mean, did I let myself actually believe that Ridge and I would get back together? It's like I lost him twice, except it's ridiculous, because I never even had him in the first place.

Stephanie: You still have the children, all of them now, you know, that Phoebe's back.

Taylor: Yeah, that's true. That's--that's more than enough for me.

Stephanie: God, they grow up so fast. They're on to their own lives. Just be thankful, and enjoy the time you have with them.

Taylor: Yeah. They still need me. I know that. Especially Phoebe. And God knows I need her.

Rick: Where's my phone? (Groans) All right, I gotta get to my dad's house. It's not far from here. Come on. Phoebe, I gotta go. You'll be okay. Don't die on me. I'll be right back. I'll be right back. (Groans)

Stephanie: What exactly did Phoebe, you know, say to you about the relationship with Rick?

Taylor: She's very bitter. She thinks I might have even used Rick to make Ridge jealous.

Stephanie: Oh, my gosh. I hope you straightened her out on that.

Taylor: I-I tried.

Stephanie: You know, her issues, honey, really are with Rick.

Taylor: I know. It just--I think she's starting to realize that. She actually came and apologized to me about the way she's been treating me.

Stephanie: Well, that's good.

Taylor: You know, she gave me this.

Stephanie: It's beautiful.

Taylor: She said it wards off evil spirits.

Stephanie: Well, wear it then. Maybe you'll ward off Brooke.

Taylor: (Gasps) I don't know. She's so sweet. She's always been such a little fireball. And she's so independent, strong-willed. She loves life. Even when she was that little precocious 2 year old...

Stephanie: Mm-hmm.

Taylor: You know, always getting into trouble. No matter what she did, you just always wanted to pick her up and squeeze her.

Rick: (Groaning) (Breathing heavily)

Phoebe: I just want to love you and for you to love me back. You're my hero. What are you doing? You and Mom? You ruined my life. How could you, Rick? How could you, Rick? How could you, Rick?

Thorne: Ridge and Brooke.

Brooke: Yes! (Laughter)

Thorne: I, uh, I have followed the saga of you two since, well, since the dawn of time. At least it seems that way. (Laughter)

Thorne: But really, tonight you guys have created some wonderful memories for all of us. And tomorrow, you'll start creating more memories on the beach for yourselves. So to a, uh, to the greatest love affair in a family that's not short of any love affairs. (Laughter)

Thorne: Blessings, guys.

Ridge: Thank you.

Beth: Hear, hear.

Ridge: Thank you.

Brooke: Thank you.

Felicia: Cheers to you guys.

Eric: Cheers. Well, it's all true.

Brooke: That was lovely.

Eric: Mm-hmm.

Ridge: I want to thank you for everything that you've, uh, done for us here. We appreciate it.

Eric: You're welcome. You're welcome, son. Glad to do it.

Ridge: I'm hoping we can, uh, smooth out any rough spots when we get back from our honeymoon.

Eric: Well, I look forward to that.

Brooke: (Laughs)

Ridge: Now if you'll excuse us, we got one more dance before dinner.

Eric: Okay.

Brooke: (Sighs contentedly) That was moving.

Ridge: Yeah.

Brooke: What is it? Something's on your mind.

Ridge: Uh, it's Phoebe. She should be here by now. I-I don't know what could be keeping her.

Brooke: Well, maybe she decided to stay with her mom tonight.

Ridge: Yeah, possibly. But not really. She wanted to sing this new song she wrote for me.

Brooke: Oh.

Ridge: I'm gonna go call her. Is that okay with you?

Brooke: Yeah, sure, that's fine. But the minute you start dialing, she's probably gonna be walking up the driveway. (Giggles)

Ridge: I hope so. I'll be back.

Rick: Ridge?

Ridge: What the hell? What happened?

Rick: Ridge, there's been an accident.

Ridge: Let me get you inside.

Rick: No, no, it's Phoebe. She's hurt really bad.

Ridge: What? You have--

Rick: No, I gotta show you. Come on, we gotta go.

Taylor: I just hope Phoebe stays away from Rick.

Stephanie: In my opinion, everyone should stay away from Rick. And don't ask, because you don't want to know.

Taylor: Well, I don't think you have to worry about Phoebe. She feels a little too hurt and a little too humiliated by him.

Stephanie: I'm happy she came home.

Taylor: Mm-hmm.

Stephanie: This gives you a chance to work out the things between you.

Taylor: Yeah. I'll think she'll do just fine. And it gives me a chance to give her a little TLC.

Stephanie: That's good. She needs that and so do you.

Taylor: I'm also glad you're here. So you can keep me from being all alone, feeling sorry for myself. You helped me get a new perspective on things. I may have lost Ridge, but I will always have my children. I'm very lucky. These children are my life.

Katie: Where's Ridge?

Brooke: Oh, uh, he--he went outside to call Phoebe.

Katie: Where is she anyway?

Brooke: I'm sure she'll come up the driveway any moment. She wrote a song for Ridge, and she wants to sing it to him.

Katie: Oh, that's so sweet.

Brooke: Yeah, I know. (Giggles)

Katie: (Giggles)

Marcus: Babe, you okay?

Steffy: Yea--no. I just got this really bad feeling.

Marcus: Well, what is it? Are you sick?

Steffy: I don't know. I don't know. It just feels like something's wrong.

Rick: (Groans) It's over here, Ridge. (Groaning) Right here.

Ridge: Oh, dear God. Phoebe? Phoebe. Phoebe. Oh, sweetie. Ohh. Sweetie. Phoebe, it's Daddy. It's Daddy, honey.!! You're gonna be okay. Where's that damned ambulance? Sweetie. (Sniffles) Phoebe.

Phoebe: (Whispering) Dad.

Ridge: Phoebe. Hey, sweetie. I'm here.

Phoebe: You're here.

Ridge: I'm here.

Phoebe: That--that's all that matters.

Rick: (Sobbing)

Ridge: You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay. Just hang in there with me.

Phoebe: I need-- I n--I need --

Ridge: Yeah?

Phoebe: I need --

Ridge: Sweetie, wake up. Come on, stay awake. Stay awake. Stay with me here, Phoebe.

Phoebe: I--you have to hear-- hear--you have to hear my song. (Crying)

Ridge: Oh, sweetie, I want to hear your song. I want to hear your song. I'll hear it as soon as we get you to the hospital.

Phoebe: No, Daddy, you need to hear it now. Daddy, you have to hear it now.

Ridge: Don't.

Phoebe: Close my eyes and think you're always there (crying) you're always there

Ridge: Phoebe. Phoebe, no. Phoebe. Phoebe. Oh, no.

Ridge: (Sobbing) Nooooooo!

Ridge: Why doesn't she wake up? (Sobbing) Oh, no! (Sobbing)
