Nick: It's gonna be all right.

Katie: (Moans)

Nick: It's gonna be okay.

Ridge: Ridge Forrester. We called about Katie Logan.

Katie: I'm scared.

Woman: Dr. Caspary is expecting you. I'll take her in.

Ridge: Doctor's on her way.

Katie: Oh, God. It's the baby, isn't it?

Brooke: We don't know, sweetheart. We have to see what the doctor says.

Woman: Right this way.

Nick: All right, come on. Come on. Here we go.

Felicia: So is it true what Donna said?

Stephanie: Oh, I don't know. I haven't talked to your father yet.

Thorne: Well, I can't believe he would take her back.

Stephanie: Well, I don't want to believe that either.

Thorne: Well, so let's talk to Dad and see what's up.

Felicia: Mom?

Stephanie: Uh, I don't want to do it right now.

Thorne: Why not?

Felicia: Do you think that Donna's telling the truth? Dad's considering a reconciliation?

Stephanie: I don't know.

Thorne: Well, Mother, let's find out.

Stephanie: Wait, could you just give me a moment? I'd like to think this through.

Thorne: Mother, listen, if Dad has done something crazy, we--

Stephanie: Honey, if she has talked her way back into his life, believe me, there will be one hell of a fight. I'm not gonna let her take advantage of him again.

Marcus: Okay, Aaron, so what's the E.T.A.?

Aaron: Truck should be in in the next 15 minutes.

Marcus: Okay, cool. So is the crew in place?

Aaron: Standin' by.

Marcus: All right, so let me know when the rig gets in, okay?

Aaron: Will do.

Marcus: All right.

Donna: Hey.

Marcus: Mom, I was just texting you.

Donna: Yeah, I was-- I was driving. I couldn't answer.

Marcus: Okay, so did you get in to see Eric?

Donna: Yes. (Sighs)

Marcus: And?

Donna: And I-I talked him out of getting a divorce for now.

Marcus: For now?

Donna: He just-- he just needs some time.

Marcus: Okay, and that's a positive thing, right?

Donna: Yes. I mean, yes, definitely. He hasn't given up on us. At least, not yet.

(Cell phone rings)

Marcus: Okay, well, look, it's gonna be okay, okay? Hang in there.

Donna: That's what I'm hoping for.

Marcus: Hey, look, Mom, they need me in the office. But you hang in there, all right?

Donna: Okay.

Marcus: This is all good.

Donna: All right.

Marcus: Okay, gotta go.

Donna: All right.

Donna: (Sighs)

Owen: So I take it you're responsible for what just happened.

Donna: What--what is it?

Owen: I was fired.

Donna: Owen, this can't come as a surprise.

Owen: Losing the job, I can live with. But losing you, I can't.

Katie: How is he? Is my baby gonna be okay?

Katie: Doctor?

Dr. Caspary: I'm sorry.

Katie: No. No. (Sobs) No. (Sobs)

Nick: You're sure?

Dr. Caspary: Katie had a miscarriage.

Katie: (Sobs)

Nick: Oh, God.

Dr. Caspary: Now these things almost always happen because the fetus wasn't viable.

Katie: (Sobs)

Dr. Caspary: It may have been all the medication Katie's been on. We don't know for sure. There's a procedure that we can do to learn more.

Katie: What difference does it make? My baby's gone. (Sobs)

Dr. Caspary: I'm so sorry.

Katie: (Sobs)

Stephanie: I don't want to go through this again with Donna.

Felicia: And you shouldn't. Mom, I'm gonna take the lead on this. If you start pressuring Dad about Donna, the whole thing could backfire.

Thorne: Felicia has a point, Mom. You and Dad are so close. Why jeopardize that?

Stephanie: Maybe you're right. I think I know what I can do to set this all straight.

Thorne: Where are you going?

Stephanie: Hopefully to protect your father.

Donna: Owen, you've always known that I love my husband. And now that he's well again, of course I want to return to my marriage.

Owen: But you loved me, too. Come on, I know you did.

Donna: I had feelings for you. But of course I did. You saved my life from crazy Pam.

Owen: Look, after what I did, do you remember what happened up in Big Bear? Come on. Those feelings are not gonna go away. I know how much you care about me, Donna. I mean, come on, you're not meant to be with a man who's old enough to be your father. I'm sorry. I get your sense of loyalty, though. That's one of your many wonderful qualities. But Eric has Stephanie now, and you're not gonna hurt him any more by leaving. Donna, listen to me. There comes a time when you need to do what is good for you and not everyone else.

Donna: But--but Eric is good for me. I wouldn't be half the woman I am if it weren't for him. Owen, I-I'm not staying with him out of guilt. I'm staying with him out of love, and you're just-- you're gonna have to accept it. I-it's over between us. And I-I can't-- I can't talk about this anymore.

Owen: Okay. Okay. If that is what you truly want, then I can't say anything about it.

Donna: Thank you, though, for everything.

Owen: But I do worry about you.

Donna: (Sighs)

Owen: Come on. Pam is still out there.

Donna: I'll be fine.

Owen: Look, I'm never gonna stop loving you.

Woman: Dr. Forest, dial 1-0-2, please.

Brooke: It's okay. It's okay.

Woman: Dr. Forest, please dial 1-1-8.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Dr. Caspary: (Sighs)

Brooke: How is she, doctor?

Dr. Caspary: I'm so sorry. Katie lost her baby.

Brooke: (Sighs) Oh, no.

Dr. Caspary: She and Nick wanted some time alone.

Katie: (Sobs)

Nick: (Sighs)

Nick: We're gonna get through this. I swear we will.

Katie: Our baby. Our precious baby is gone.

Katie: (Sobs) I don't have time to worry .

Thorne: Marcus, what are you doing up here? We need the shipment unloaded.

Marcus: I'm on it, Thorne.

Thorne: Well, obviously, you aren't.

Marcus: Look, it's not even here yet, man. Chill.

Thorne: Is that how you always talk to a supervisor, Marcus?

Marcus: Okay, Thorne, what's really the issue here, man?

Thorne: The issue? The issue is that we Forresters are back, Marcus. And we are in control of our company. The issue is that ever since your mother stepped foot into this place, Forrester has taken a nosedive because of lack of respect-- the respect from our buyers, the respect from our sellers, the respect from our distributors, not to mention the press and the public. It's all gone downhill, Marcus, and you know where it starts? It starts right here at Forrester.

Marcus: You know, you're right, Thorne. I mean, just look at the way you been disrespecting my mom and her marriage. You know, she still is Mrs. Eric Forrester.

Thorne: Yeah, well, not for long.

Marcus: Well, we'll see about that, won't we?

Thorne: Like I said, Marcus, the Forresters are back. Now you better get used to the changes around here. Now get that shipment unloaded.

Donna: What's going on here?

Marcus: Nothing. Me and Thorne were just having a, um, discussion.

Donna: Oh, really? And I can only imagine what it's about. I have a question for you, Thorne. Do you love your father?

Thorne: Yeah, Donna, I love my father.

Donna: So why not support him? He's trying to make a decision here. Give him some space, like I am.

Thorne: Like you are? The only reason you're giving him space, Donna, is because he demanded it.

Donna: Look, the point is, I am not pressuring him, and neither should you.

Thorne: Oh, and you're going to keep your end of the bargain? Yeah, I doubt it.

Donna: This is in Eric's hands, and I respect that.

Thorne: Well, you better if you know what's good for you.

Marcus: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Is that a threat, Thorne?

Donna: Marcus--

Marcus: Because if it is--

Donna: Marcus, stop. I-it's not worth it.

Aaron: Marcus, that shipment you've been waiting for arrived.

Marcus: Thanks, Aaron. Let's go in and get that truck unloaded, man.

Donna: It's from India?

Aaron: Yes.

Donna: I-I'm gonna need the, uh, samples right away.

Aaron: I'll bring them right up, Mrs. Forrester.

Donna: Thank you.

Thorne: (Chuckles)

Brooke: My poor little baby sister.

Ridge: She's gonna need a lot of support.

Brooke: (Sighs) How ironic, really. The day that we bring jack back into our lives, my sister loses her baby.

Katie: (Sniffles) This is all my fault.

Nick: No.

Katie: I'm so sorry.

Nick: This is not your fault.

Katie: I should have known I could never carry that baby to term.

Nick: Katie, we looked at this baby as a blessing, and maybe that's what this is-- a blessing.

Katie: How can you say that? You've lost everything because of me.

Nick: But I haven't lost you. And you know, that might have happened if you'd have gone to full term with this child.

Katie: You're free now. You don't have to stay with me. Maybe that's the way it should be if I was so horrible to Bridget, you know?

Nick: Hey, hey, hey, is-- is that what you think? That I want to be free of you? I am not with you because of this baby.

Katie: What are we gonna do? How do we go on after this?

Nick: We start today. And we're gonna be grateful that we already have a child.

Katie: Jack.

Nick: Yeah, Jack. He needs us, and we are gonna be there for him.

Katie: Is Brooke still here?

Nick: I think so.

Katie: Can you have her come in here? Can you have her bring Jack?

Nick: Okay.

Katie: I really want to see Jack.

Ridge: Taylor was right. You are Jack's mother.

Brooke: (Chuckles) I treasure this baby even more after what's happened with Katie.

Ridge: I'm sorry.

Nick: Thank you. She wants to see you... and Jack.

Brooke: Are you sure that's a good idea? She just lost her baby.

Nick: It's what she wants.

Jack: (Babbles)

Brooke: (Whispers) Let's go, okay?

Brooke: (Sighs) Oh, honey.

Katie: I guess I should have been prepared for this.

Brooke: (Sighs) It's okay. We'll be there for you, whatever you need.

Katie: Nick says that he's committed to me, Brooke. That--no matter what.

Brooke: Of course he is.

Katie: He says that we're gonna build a life together, despite everything.

Brooke: He's a good man.

Katie: And we still have this beautiful little boy.

Brooke: Yes.

Jack: (Babbles)

Brooke: We certainly do.

Jack: (Babbles)

Brooke: Yes.

Katie: Jack'll always be part of my life. Can I hold him?

Jack: (Babbles)

Brooke: (Sighs) Okay.

Katie: Come here.

Brooke: Here.

Katie: Hi. Hey. Hey. Thank God for you. Thank God for you.

Jack: (Babbles)

Katie: Hi.

Jack: (Babbles)

Katie: My baby. My sweet boy.

Jack: (Babbles)

Katie: Hey. Hey, Jack. Hey, Jack.

Marcus: Okay. Yeah, fellas, let's go here. Put it down right over here. Hey, Mom, here's those shoe samples you wanted to see.

Donna: Oh, thank you, honey.

Pam: Steal my sister's husband, huh?

Marcus: I see someone's very excited.

(Telephone rings)

Marcus: Must be true what they say about girls and their shoes, huh?

Donna: They're the prototype for our new line from India.

Woman: Excuse me, Mrs. Forrester, it's for you-- the executive floor.

Donna: Oh, thank you. Hello?

Pam: Think you can just slither your way back into Eric's life? No way. Today you die.

Marcus: Whoa!

Donna: Oh, my God!

Woman: God!

Donna: Snake! Oh, Marcus! Marcus! Oh, Marcus! Oh, my God, call 9-1-1! Hurry! Please! Marcus! Marcus! Marcus!

Woman: Forrester Creations. We have an employee bit by a snake. It was on the chest.

Donna: Oh, my God. It's Pam.

Woman: I don't know.

Donna: Marcus, hang in there. Hang in there. Marcus! No, Marcus!
