Donna: She's losing it. There's no telling what she might say.

Katie: Bridget, please, don't cry. I-I thought I could do this, but I can't.

(Indistinct conversations)

Woman: Who's the new guy?

Felicia: Oh, um, a friend of Donna's, I think.

Woman: Hmm.

Felicia: (Clears throat) Make yourself right at home, why don't ya.

Owen: Is that an invitation?

Felicia: Oh, I don't know. Are you the kind of man who waits for one?

Owen: Well, that depends on what kind of man you're looking for.

Felicia: You, Owen Knight. We had a date, remember?

Owen: You bet. It's what brought me here to Forrester today.

Felicia: You know, I've been hearing of lot of whispers about you.

Owen: Oh, yeah?

Felicia: (Scoffs) Don't try to pretend like you don't realize the stir you're creating around here.

Owen: I've noticed a lot of things around here.

Felicia: Okay I'm just saying-- don't believe everything she tells you. Donna. Come on, you two do know each other. I saw you talking at the pool party.

Owen: So, Felicia Forrester, what's your deal? And what can I do for you today?

Felicia: I am curious. You're new, you're friendly with Donna. What's your deal?

Owen: Just a guy waitin' on a check.

Felicia: Really? You're waiting on a check from Donna?

Owen: Donna's generously agreed to take care of a fee that's owed to me. I can't tell you what for. It's business, confidential, you know

Felicia: Mm-hmm. I see.  So you're gonna collect your money and then just take off?

Owen: Well, I'm not in any hurry. I'm just kickin' back here, relaxin'. Great party yesterday.

Felicia: Mm.

Owen: I feel like I'm livin' in a movie. You got the sunshine, the palm trees, Beverly Hills and beautiful women like you.

Felicia: (Laughs) You are such a smooth operator. You know, that could really serve you well. Are you up for a challenge? Because I have a great opportunity for you.

Katie: Please, Bridget, just listen. When I agreed to officiate this ceremony, I-I didn't know how it'd feel to stand up here, to stand between the two of you. I can't read these words because--because these are just words. And what's inside of me, what I need to say, is-- bigger than that because it comes from in here.

Bridget: Okay.

Katie: I love this man. And I love this woman. And I find you both awe-inspiring. Watching you find your way back to each other gave me hope that I could find my way back to myself, and with your help, I have. Bridget, you said you wanted this day to be about me, and--and-- and it has been, but it--it's about all of us, because we've all witnessed who you are as a couple. Your spirit and your connection, your generosity and your trust. Your love needs no words because I have seen you both speak volumes to each other with just a look or a smile. I know that your love is real. It can't be diminished by anything, especially not sharing it. Thank you for sharing it with me. (Sniffles) I am so proud to be a part of this ceremony. I am so proud to be the one to make you husband and wife.

Katie: (Giggles) I love you so much.

Bridget: I love you, too.

Katie: (Giggles) (sniffles)

Bridget: (Sniffles)

Katie: And now onward. (Laughs)

Felicia: Are you a family man at all?

Owen: Well, I'm not married, if that's what you're askin'. And I don't have any kids either.

Felicia: Do you love your parents?

Owen: Sure.

Felicia: So do I. I love my parents, and my parents love each other, and they'd still be together if it weren't for Donna.

Owen: That's the way you see it.

Felicia: Look, man, you know what? You haven't been around here very long. You don't know Donna like I do. But the problem is neither does my father.

Owen: Well, I do know that she threw a kid at him, out of the blue, all grown-up. Didn't change his feelings for her.

Felicia: Because he's a generous man, almost to a fault. But you know what? Even he has his limits. Infidelity-- that would be one of 'em. I know that that marriage would be over in a New York second if he thought that she was messing around with someone else.

Owen: Messing around with whom? Messing around with me.

Felicia: My dad's gonna be traveling a lot this summer, and Donna's gonna need some company, and I think you could provide her the company that she needs. And then you give me some proof of an infidelity. I mean, anything. You know, uh, photos, a voicemail. Some clear evidence, Owen. And that would set my father free from that woman once and for all.

Katie: You both have stated your intention, and now it's time for you to make your vows to each other. Bridget, you go first.

Bridget: Ohh. (Laughs breathlessly) (Sighs) I love you. And I love your son. And I am so proud to be committing my life to you again. I'm going to honor you and honor Jack and honor your relationship with your son. I promise to be-the best stepmother I can be. And clearly no one and nothing can keep us apart because here we are again, professing our love for each other. I'll never let you go, till death do us part.

Katie: And, um, Nick, it's your turn.

Nick: Really?

Katie: (Chuckles)

Nick: Well... (chuckles) it's tough to follow two very eloquent women, but I'll do my best. And that's what I want to say-- that I'll do my best. I will give you my best. (Sighs) I will be there for you, for the worst and for the best. And I will love you, and I will support you. And I, too, love you. I want you to be my wife. And I so want you to be the stepmother to my child. And I think you know how much that means to me. So I'm gonna go out on a limb here and speak for Jack and say that we are the two luckiest guys in the world 'cause we get you.

Bridget: (Chuckles)

Jack: (Squeals)

Owen: So you want me to set Donna up.

Felicia: (Sighs) look, I just want you to do what comes natural. You're a sexy, good-looking guy. She'll take an interest.

Owen: Not if she's interested in staying married.

Felicia: She is interested in getting ahead, all right?

Owen: (Sighs)

Felicia: She's using my father.

Owen: Well, she's making him happy, isn't she?

Felicia: (Sighs) she's tearing my family apart, and in the end, she's gonna break his heart, and I just-- I want it to be over.

Owen: I'm sorry, but I'm not your guy.

Felicia: Mm-hmm. How much money you waitin' on?

Owen: $2,500.

Felicia: Multiply it by 20. Okay, 40. 100 grand.

Owen: Look, I can do the math. I'm just not following your logic. Your father's crazy about Donna. If she betrays him, he's gonna be hurt. And that's what you want?

Felicia: What I want is to save him from that superficial, money-grubbing skank and reunite him with the woman he never should've left.

Owen: You know, you're taking a really big risk here. You don't know me. What's to stop me from going to your father and telling him what you're asking me to do?

Felicia: Huh. And why would he believe you? A complete stranger, opportunist who's hitting his wife up for cash?

Owen: It's not like that.

Felicia: No?

Owen: Anyway, I'm not a home wrecker.

Felicia: Okay. $200,000. That's my final offer. Take it or leave it. I really need somebody to show my father the truth, okay? He needs to see the kind of woman he's really married to. I'm gonna find somebody to take this deal. If you don't want it, you'll lose.

Owen: It's like I always say, "Life's too short to drink cheap wine."

Nick: Bridget, I give you this ring as a sign of my love and faithfulness.

Bridget: Nick, I give you this ring as a sign of my love and faithfulness.

Katie: Nick and Bridget have exchanged vows and rings as a symbol of their love and fidelity. And now, by the power vested in me, temporarily... (laughter)

Katie: By the state of California, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride. (Applause)

Bridget: Oh, my God! (Laughs) Oh, my-- oh, my God.

Nick: (Speaking indistinctly) Oh, come on. Oh, oh, hold--hold--

Bridget: (Laughs)

Nick: Let's go down the aisle. Come on. Oh, oh, oh, oh-- come on. Let's go-- (indistinct conversations)

Beth: (Sighs)

Stephen: Congratulations.

Bridget: Ohh.

Stephen: It was a wonderful ceremony.

Bridget: Thank you, grandpa.

Beth: Especially what you said, sweetheart. Really wonderful.

Katie: Ohh. Thanks, Mom.

Beth: Yes.

Katie: Hmm.

Brooke: Apparently. (Laughs) could have been, but not-- that was actually just really-- (continues indistinctly)

Ridge: All this talk about love and commitment has got you in a mood.

Brooke: Ohh, weddings.

Ridge: It's not just any wedding, though, is it?

Brooke: No. This was incredible. Seeing Nick and Bridget pledge their love to one another and to Baby Jack-- it's like a circle is closed, you know? We made our way through all the mistakes and the misunderstandings, an everything's in balance again.

Ridge: Not quite. I think it's about time you and I make a, uh, pledge of our own.

Brooke: Well... (clears throat) you know how much I would love that, Ridge, but things have gotten in our way lately.

Ridge: Yeah. That's just not right, is it? I know. I've been distracted with Dad and Donna and Mother and the company and all that. But I'm gonna make that up.

Brooke: Really?

Ridge: Mm-hmm.

Brooke: Tell me.

Ridge: I think it's time that you and I had some quality time together of our own.

Brooke: Hmm. Yeah, I like that. I love that.

Ridge: Good.

Brooke: Yes. I love you.

Ridge: Even better.

Brooke: Mm.

Eric: I-I think so.

Bridget: Good news.

Jackie: You look beautiful.

Bridget: Oh, thank you.

Eric: Hey, you.

Bridget: Oh, Dad.

Eric: Congratulations. Oh, my God. Look at you. You're so beautiful. You're a beautiful bride...

Bridget: Well, I--

Eric: And now you're this beautiful wife.

Bridget: I know. I hope my husband agrees with you.

Eric: Well, he'd better.

Bridget: (Giggles)

Eric: Mwah.

Bridget: Your dress-- it's unbelievable.

Eric: I think so. Thank you. Thank you.

Bridget: Hi.

Marcus: (Clears throat) Very cool wedding, Bridget. Thank you so much for inviting me.

Bridget: Well, thank you so much for coming. And I'm very, very happy that you and Donna have found each other. You've made today very special. (Giggles) (indistinct conversations)

Katie: (Thinking) It feels like the end of a long, bizarre journey. The wedding was beautiful, like a fairy tale come true. Two people who did everything to save me finally married... by me. (Laughs) I'm alone in the garden, listening to their laughter and joy, realizing that it wasn't just the happiest day of their lives, but of mine, too. I know with absolute certainty that true satisfaction comes not from receiving, but from giving. It seems simple, but it's a lesson that we have to keep learning throughout our lives. Acceptance, peace are underrated. I think I have what I need to move on. Love that clings isn't love. Love that needs is just a need. That old saying-- "If you love something, set it free"-- it's true. And if you're lucky, you can set yourself free, too. Maybe it was facing my own mortality or seeing how much joy Nick and Baby Jack gave Bridget.

(Indistinct conversations)

Katie: (Thinking) Giving is its own reward-- the way Nick and Bridget gave to me, the way I've tried to give back to them. Now they have each other, and I have them, and I will love them both until my dying day.
