Brooke: See ya after school. Love you.

Storm: (Laughs)

Katie: I didn't make the coffee, but, yes, I like it strong.

Storm: I like it strong. I actually like it strong, too. So thank you, Katie.

Nick: Don't you see, Brooke, you can't marry Forrester. Your heart is not there. It belongs here with us. What we've always wanted-- it's there. It's possible. All you have to do is say that you want it. You say that, and it's yours.

Donna: I'll be awake, that's for sure.

Katie: (Laughs)

Donna: Sorry. (Laughs)

Storm: You need to stay awake.

Brooke: Are the eggs cold?

Katie: No, they're-- they're fine. Help yourself.

Storm: Everything okay?

Brooke: Fine.

Donna: Did Hope and R.J. get picked up?

Brooke: Mm-hmm.

Katie: Is Ridge not joining us?

Brooke: No, Ridge left this morning early for work.

Storm: Oh, God, jeez, I didn't realize it was so late. I've actually gotta hurry myself.

Katie: You have a therapy session?

Storm: Yep.

Donna: How's it going?

Storm: It's great.

Katie: You know, um, I-I really think it might be better if you went back to Paris. Dad has that therapist he wants to hook you up with.

Storm: Yeah, I know, I know. I've--I've talked to him about it. Dad thinks that this very expensive hotshot French therapist that he's found is the best of the best, but I'm making pretty good progress here, so why break the momentum, right?

Donna: Yeah. Can you pass the hot sauce, please? Hello, Brooke?

Brooke: Hmm?

Donna: The hot sauce, please.

Brooke: Oh, yeah, sure.

Donna: Thanks.

Storm: (Clears throat) Anyway, the point is I'm happy with my therapist, so I'm not going anywhere for now. And besides that, I don't really feel comfortable leaving you guys after everything that's happened, you know? The truth is it helps having you guys here with me. I mean, I appreciate Dad for everything that he's done for me and reaching out to me, but, uh, I don't know, this is just more familiar to me-- the four of us together, working through our tough times. You know, I know this is gonna sound pretty, uh, corny, but, uh, it does mean a lot to me that you're-- you're all sticking by me and that you've forgiven me. You have forgiven me, right?

Katie: Of course, yes.

Donna: Yeah, we forgave you, Storm.

Storm: (Exhales deeply)

Brooke: We love you, Stormy. Of course we've forgiven you.

Storm: Well, that means everything to me. (Sighs) 'cause personally, I'm having a hard time forgiving myself.

Katie: You were under a lot of stress.

Storm: Yeah, but, uh, that doesn't excuse what I did.

Donna: Stormy, it's okay, all right? We know you wouldn't want anyone dead, even Stephanie.

Storm: It's just the guilt I feel can be unbearable sometimes. I can't tell you how many times I've thought about just going down to the police station and confessing everything.

Donna: Storm.

Katie: (Scoffs)

Storm: Don't worry, I'm not going to. I value my freedom too much. It's all right. And besides that, you know, working hard in therapy is, well, it's helping me overcome my issues. It's interesting. Actually, I'm learning how to relate to Dad. And amazingly enough, I owe it all to Stephanie.

Felicia: Oh, I'm so glad you finally came to your senses, Daddy.

Eric: Mm.

Thorne: Yeah, it's a relief for the entire family.

Felicia: Not to mention the business.

Thorne: I knew you would see the light and eventually--

Eric: Now look, speaking of business, this is a business meeting. Could we get down to it, please?

Ridge: I'm not sure any of us really wants to talk about business right now.

Thorne: Listen, I know how you're feeling. I mean, I took a spin on the Donna Logan roller-coaster ride, but the main thing is that you're back where you need to be-- at home with Mom.

Stephanie: Yes, and I'm very happy that your father's back home. I also feel very fortunate he's given me a chance to work this marriage out. Thank you. But moving back in is just the first big step, isn't it? I'm, uh, promise you I'm going to do everything I can to win your heart back. And once I do, I plan to stay there forever. (Kissing sound)

Ridge: So why exactly did things end with Donna, if you don't mind me asking?

Felicia: Uh, what does it matter, Ridge?

Thorne: I mean, he came to his senses. Isn't that all we really need to know?

Eric: Look, the fact is I got caught up in something with a very chemical young woman, and she thought I was an old man that would never catch on, all right? But as the two of you pointed out, I finally came to my senses.

Ridge: Which means what, exactly?

Eric: It means that Donna was not the woman I thought she was.

Ridge: So it's true what Mother said? There was another man?

Eric: Another man implies there was some kind of monogamy involved. No, there were other men, Ridge, lots of them, strangers on the street. She said she was attracted sexually to strangers. She told me she was a-a sexual addict, that it was a psychological problem, but in fact, she was what your mother has said all along-- just a-a tramp from the valley. So-- look, I'm sorry. I apologize to both of you. Um, you told me all along that this was stupid of me, and I'm mortified that I was so blind.

Thorne: It's okay. It's over. You're moving on. That's all that really matters.

Eric: You're right, I am moving on. Look, the relationship I had with Donna was just a joke to her. I offered her the world, a lifetime of happiness, but she couldn't hold up her end of the bargain.

Donna: As far as Stephanie knows, I held up my end of the bargain. She thinks I broke it off with Eric, and that's how it's gonna stay.

Katie: (Sighs) Donna, you have to be careful. You heard Storm. He is savoring his freedom. We can't jeopardize that.

Donna: I know, okay? But it's not up to me whether Eric takes her back or not.

Katie: What does that mean?

Donna: Meaning I've done my part. I broke it off with Eric. And Stephanie has to honor our agreement and not tell the police it was Storm. But she is wrong to think that--that Eric's gonna go back to that horrible marriage. Oh, yeah, he'll--he'll pretend to be considering for a while. He'll dote on her and--and tell her how right she was about me, but eventually, he will leave her. And it's--it's not my fault if he forgives me and tries to woo me back. Look, it's all about making Stephanie believe that I've always held up my end of the bargain. That way, Storm stays free, and I can be with Eric again.

Brooke: It's not that simple... (sighs) and you know it.

Donna: No, you know what? Actually, it is. It's--it's almost too perfect, Brooke.

Brooke: Donna, you're seeing Eric on the sly. I found you and him in your little love nest, remember? I mean, it just as easily could have been Stephanie walking in on the two of you instead of me.

Katie: (Scoffs) don't you see, if Stephanie finds out that you and Eric are still seeing each other, she will do everything she can to put Storm away for the rest of his life.

Donna: We are being so careful. I-I swear to God. And--and besides, I'm wondering whether Stephanie even has the power that you think she has. I mean, she has changed her story so many times. I mean, first she said it was me. Then she said it was Dad. How many people can she point her finger to before the police start thinking she's just a crazy lady making up stories?

Katie: Donna, if she walks into the police station and says Storm shot her, do you really think they're just gonna send her on her way? No, they're gonna investigate, and it's not gonna take them long for them to figure out that she's telling the truth. If Stephanie finds out that you're still seeing Eric, she will make sure that Storm is stuck in prison for the rest of his life. She will make it happen.

Brooke: Katie's right, Donna. And if I've learned anything over the years, it's to never underestimate Stephanie Forrester.

Donna: I'm not underestimating Stephanie. When Eric and I get together, we are so careful. I mean, our hideaway is in a part of town that Stephanie would never even step foot in.

Katie: Well, that's all fine, but don't you think she's gonna wonder where Eric is when he sneaks off every afternoon?

Donna: He's a businessman, Katie, with lots of clients. And if he's in and out of the office or--or at work late a few nights a week, I mean, it's nothing new to Stephanie. Believe me, I've--I've thought about all this.

Brooke: What about your perfume?

Katie: Or your lipstick?

Donna: I don't wear any when we're together.

Katie: Donna, I don't care how careful you think you're being. E-eventually, one of you is going to mess up. And too much is at stake. We are talking about our brother's freedom. If and when Eric leaves Stephanie and enough time has passed where no red flags will be sent up, you and Eric can get back together, and you can buy your hideaway in whatever seedy part of town you choose, but not now.

Donna: Katie, I'm really sorry, but you don't know what you're saying. You've never been in love like this.

Brooke: But I have, and I know what you're going through, and I know how much you love Eric. But sometimes being in love is just too risky. I hate the fact that you have to sacrifice so much just to save our brother, but there's really no other choice. (Sighs) Katie and I have to head off to work now. Are you gonna be okay?

Donna: Yeah.

Katie: Donna, you're not in this alone. We're here for you. We will support you every step of the way until you and Eric can be together. Please, please don't mess this up.

Donna: (Sniffles)

Donna: (Sniffles)

Stephanie: What color are you going to do them?

Eric: This is the way it holds--the way it holds-- (cell phone ringing)

Ridge: Just what it is here.

Stephanie: That one?

Ridge: Yeah.

Stephanie: You like this? (Rings)

Ridge: Yeah, I do.

Eric: Hello?

Donna: Hi. Um, can you get away? I need to see you.

Eric: I agree with your assessment 100%. This is killing me being apart from you.

Donna: Can you meet at the love nest?

Eric: 'Kay. I'll leave right away.

Donna: (Sighs heavily)

Stephanie: I love this red.

Ridge: That'll be almost like a wrap.

Stephanie: Oh, I can see that. It's just absolutely stunning, honey.

Stephanie: Eric, where are you going? We just got started.

Eric: Something came up I have to take care of myself.

Stephanie: Oh. Eric?

Eric: Mm-hmm?

Stephanie: I love you.

Eric: I know.

Ridge: Okay, we're alone. What's really going on here?

Stephanie: What are you talking about?

Ridge: This sudden about-face with Dad. He was completely head over heels with Donna, and then, poof, it's over?

Stephanie: Well, is that really so surprising with a girl like Donna?

Ridge: Mother, I don't really want to hurt you here, but I'm just not feeling that Dad's heart is completely into this sudden reconciliation with you.

Stephanie: Ridge, our marriage is a long, long, long way from where it was. I mean, it's going to take time. I understand that. You know, Donna really humiliated him, and it's going to take time for him to settle down, see what he has with me, see if that's what he wants and what he needs. And--and that's okay with me, because I see the end. Your father and I have always loved each other, and I believe that we always will love each other. So as long as it takes, that's fine. Come on, be happy for us.

Ridge: I want to be.

Stephanie: Good. I think everything's going to work out all right. (Sighs) (door opening)

Eric: Hi.

Donna: Hi. (Giggles)

Eric: My God. Mmm.

Donna: (Sighs contentedly) Tonight we will burn our TV trays.

Stephanie: Well, if you put that dress in production, what's-- what's the production cost? What's--what's the cost rundown?

Ridge: It would be right here.

Stephanie: Oh.

Brooke: Ohh. Did I miss the entire meeting?

Ridge: No, you didn't miss much. We actually didn't accomplish anything. We got involved in a conversation about Mother and Dad getting back together.

Brooke: Oh. You must be overjoyed?

Stephanie: Yes, I am. I'm very happy. Thank you.

Ridge: Oh, I was supposed to be in the cutting room five minutes ago. Bye.

Brooke: (Sighs) Well, I won't keep you.

Stephanie: No, no, wait a minute. I want to ask you a question about Donna, actually. I want you to tell me that you really believe she's gonna stay away from Eric.

Donna: (Sighs)

Eric: Hey, what's this? What's this? What--what are these tears all about?

Donna: Oh, I'm-- I'm just so happy, you know, that Storm's free and that he-- he's not in jail and that-- (sighs) thank you.

Eric: Wh-and--and--and you're happy, and so there's all these tears? Is that wh-- Donna, what is it?

Donna: Okay, okay, it's Brooke and Katie. I mean, they're all over me an--they're worried about Storm. They said I can't see you anymore, that it--that it's too risky.

Eric: It's too risky? Well, they do have a point, you know?

Donna: (Sighs)

Eric: But, um, I have an opinion about that, you know?

Donna: (Laughs)

Brooke: Yeah, well, I-I think everything's been taken care of. Donna left Eric, so there's really nothing for you to worry about.

Stephanie: Hmm. Well, I'm pleased that she appears to be keeping her end of the bargain.

Brooke: Appears to be?

Stephanie: (Laughs) look, I know all about this sex addict thing. I know it's not true. I also know that she's still in love with my husband.

Brooke: Exactly. That's why this is such a huge sacrifice.

Stephanie: Oh, please, I don't have any sympathy for Donna in this area. I don't. She tried to get back at me through Eric. Come on, she knew he was a married man. She knew exactly what she was walking into here.

Brooke: Believe what you want to believe, but I really don't want to be having this conversation. Now Donna held up her end of the deal, and if Eric wants to come back to you or not, that's up to you.

Stephanie: Oh, I understand that, believe me. I just don't want her interfering in the marriage, so I'm putting you on notice. As long as she keeps her part of the bargain, I keep mine. If she doesn't, then your brother goes to jail.

Donna: You know, on some level I know that Brooke and Katie are right.

Eric: Right about what?

Donna: Us seeing each other. No matter how many precautions we take, it--it is risky.

Eric: Yeah.

Donna: But I can't help it. I-I need to be with you.

Eric: I need that, too. That's what I'm living for, you know-- this time alone with you.

Donna: Yeah, but if Stephanie finds out--

Eric: She's not gonna find out. She won't. Your brother's gonna be safe. And you and I are gonna be free to live our lives together forever. Nothing's gonna stop that. Certainly not Stephanie.

Stephanie: So he's still not back in the building? Huh. No, no, I just find it a little odd that he's, you know, hasn't returned. Uh, and you don't have any idea where he is? All right. All right, thank you. Oh, no, wait a minute. Um, you did make the reservation at the restaurant in Beverly Hills for 7:00, right? Thank you so much. Okay.

Stephanie: Well, where are you, Eric?
