Brooke: Come in. You want to talk about it?

Ridge: I don't even want to think about it.

Brooke: I'm sorry, Ridge.

Ridge: No, Logan, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what Taylor put you through. I'm sorry for what she put us all through.

Catherine: So of course Phoebe and Stephanie had no idea what was going on, but Thomas explained the rules of the game.

Taylor: It sounds like they had fun.

Catherine: Yeah, they did, actually. Now we're going to have to go out and buy balls and gloves and bats. But you know what? Let's let Ridge deal with that. So where is he anyway?

Taylor: I'm not sure.

Catherine: But he's here, right? I mean, he's back from his trip.

Taylor: Yeah, he was here.

Catherine: Well, I hope he didn't go back to work.

Thomas: Hey, Mommy, where's Daddy? When is he coming home?

Catherine: You know what, you guys? Daddy will be home really soon, so you guys just keep playing, okay? Taylor, is something wrong?

[Kids laugh]

[doorbell rings]

Taylor: Please get that.

Catherine: Yeah.

Stephanie: Hi.

Catherine: Hi.

Stephanie: Hello. Guess what I have? Come over here. Come on. How are you, cutie pie? Can I have a kiss? Hello. Can I have a kiss? Oh, I love those big, wet kisses. I have a special surprise. It's a big, gooey chocolate cake.

Thomas: Oh, yeah?

Stephanie: Yeah.

Catherine: Ooh, for us? Wow! Look, guys!

Stephanie: Maybe Catherine will give you some ice cream with it.

Catherine: Okay! Who wants cake and ice cream?

All: Me.

Catherine: Okay. Come on, guys.

Stephanie: What's going on?

Taylor: I blew it. I blew it, Stephanie.

Stephanie: Where's Ridge?

Taylor: Who knows? He stormed out of here. What are you doing?

Stephanie: I'm going to call  Brooke.

Taylor: Don't. I don't want to know if he's over there.

Dr. Craig: Everything seems to be fine. You're taking your medication?

Tony: Like clockwork, yeah.

Dr. Craig: Good. Now, what was it that you wanted to talk to me about?

Kristen: We wanted to talk about our relationship.

Dr. Craig: Well, your sister-in-law is a psychiatrist. Shouldn't you talk to her?

Tony: We don't need a psychiatrist, doctor. We have a few questions about HIV and us.

Dr. Craig: All right. What can I help you with?

Kristen: Well, as you know, Tony and I are in love. We're gonna stay together, and we've never felt this way about anyone before.

Dr. Craig: That's really wonderful, and I'm very happy for you, but you have to realize that it will be important for you both to be careful and responsible so that the virus is not transmitted to Kristen.

Kristen: We know there are challenges, doctor.

Dr. Craig: Do you?

Tony: Of course, doctor. I'm HIV positive. There are certain things that we can't do.

Kristen: And that's what we wanted to talk to you about -- what we can do.

Dr. Craig: Well, as you know, this isn't an exact science, so what I'm going to tell you are my views, and personally, I'd rather err on the side of caution. One of the ways HIV is transmitted is through blood. Tony's blood is infected. If it comes into contact with your blood, Kristen, you could become HIV positive yourself.

Tony: Blood. What about other bodily fluids?

Dr. Craig: Your semen carries the same risk. Your saliva does not.

Kristen: So we can kiss?

Dr. Craig: Well yes, of course, but please keep in mind, if you have any open sores in your mouth -- cold sores, bleeding gums -- then absolutely not. Even something as innocent as kissing can bring you into contact with each other's blood, and that's what you have to avoid at all cost.

Stephanie: You had an argument. That was inevitable.

Taylor: I can't get over the way he looked at me and the tone of his voice. I just wasn't prepared for it.

Stephanie: Honey, he knows that you weren't really involved in this whole thing, that it was me and it was Massimo.

Taylor: I could have intervened, and I should have. I can't deny it. What I did was wrong. I single-handedly persuaded Brooke to go to Paris to be with her dying father. God, I don't know how I could do that. I still can't believe I did it. It was a bald-faced, blatant lie, and the worst part of it is I didn't just lie to Brooke. I did, I lied to Ridge, and now, he hates me for it.

Stephanie: Oh, that's a bit strong.

Taylor: Oh, I hate me for it. Why shouldn't he? Oh, God, Stephanie, if I lose my marriage over this, I don't know what I'm going to do.

Brooke: Is there anything I can do for you?

Ridge: Logan, you're already doing it, just letting me be here.

Brooke: I'm always here for you, Ridge. I always have been. You know that.

Ridge: You are something else, you know that? After everything you've been through --

Brooke: Well, what about what you've been through? Discovering what Taylor did to me? I lost all respect for my father, but you lost all respect for your wife.

Ridge: Yeah. I've never been this angry with her.

Brooke: Do you feel guilty about that?

Ridge: Guilty? No. Why would I feel guilty? What Taylor did was appalling and shameless.

Brooke: Yes, it was. She lied to you, Ridge, and it was a vicious lie. You're the father of her children and the man that she is supposed to love. How could she do that to you? How could she watch you suffer for my tragedy when she easily could have stopped it?

Ridge: I don't know. I just don't know.

Brooke: Well, it's over, and we will get through this, you and I. We will recover together.

Tony: Are you trying to scare us, Dr. Craig?

Dr. Craig: No, no. I'm trying to alert you. Now, let's talk about sex.

Tony: We haven't had sexual intercourse, doctor.

Kristen: But we are very close.

Dr. Craig: "Very close", meaning...?

Kristen: Meaning that we do, we spend a lot of time together, so of course, we touch.

Tony: We're in love, dr. Craig.

Dr. Craig: Are you living together?

Tony: No.

Kristen: Not at this time.

Dr. Craig: But you spend time alone?

Tony: Yes.

Dr. Craig: Do either of you drink on these occasions?

Tony: Well, we have a glass of wine every now and then, but we don't get drunk.

Dr. Craig: You just relax?

Tony: That's right.

Dr. Craig: Your inhibitions fall away?

Tony: Look, I know where you're heading with this, Dr. Craig.

Dr. Craig: I'd like you both to stop drinking alcohol, at least until you feel very comfortable with your new responsibilities.

Kristen: No, it's fine. We can give up alcohol. We don't need it.

Tony: No, no, no, no. Wait a minute, Dr. Craig. You're treating us as if we can't control ourselves, and we can.

Dr. Craig: Then prove it. No more alcohol when you and Kristen are together. Show me your discipline, Tony.

Stephanie: You're not going to lose your marriage over this.

Taylor: I have never seen Ridge so disappointed.

Stephanie: Taylor, he'll come around.

Taylor: I don't think you understand how serious this is.

Stephanie: I don't think you realize how much he loves you.

Taylor: No, he loves a woman with integrity.

Stephanie: Oh, Taylor, for goodness sakes, you were defending your marriage.

Taylor: So what? That justifies going against my principles, everything I believe in, my sense of morality, my decency? I acted like Brooke! I did something she would do! Even Ridge says he doesn't even know who I am, and what else can he say? I've compromised every standard I have. He doesn't see me as the woman he fell in love with. I don't think he's coming back to me.

Brooke: I think it's time to stop talking about Taylor.

Ridge: You're right. I shouldn't be laying this on you.

Brooke: No, it's not that. I just want you to heal.

Ridge: That's going to take some time.

Brooke: And we have plenty of that, don't we?

Ridge: I'm amazed how well you're taking all this, Logan.

Brooke: It's because of you, Ridge, your love and your support.

Ridge: You sure you're all right?

Brooke: Yes, I'm fine. As long as you're with me, I can survive just about anything.

Ridge: Yeah, but when I leave here -- I mean, maybe I should call Bridget and have her come and spend the night?

Brooke: Well, what about you? Where are you going to stay?

Ridge: What do you mean?

Brooke: Well, there's no reason that you couldn't stay here.

Ridge: Stay here?

Brooke: Yes. Where else would you go? You certainly couldn't go back to your mother's. Ridge, I know you're in a lot of turmoil, but there is a silver lining to all of this.

Ridge: And what's that?

Brooke: You and me. We're finally going to have a life together. That is what this is all about, isn't it?

Stephanie: Ridge will be back, and you'll work this all out.

Taylor: How? What can I possibly say?

Stephanie: You'll put the blame exactly where it belongs, with Brooke.

Taylor: I tried that. He defended her.

Stephanie: What?

Taylor: It's too late, Stephanie. I've given away the strongest weapons I had -- my honor and my dignity, my faith in my husband. Now look what that's got me. Brooke's the victim, and I'm the bad person.

Stephanie: Taylor, he's not going to walk out on you and the children for her. Isn't that what you told me earlier?

Taylor: It's completely out of our hands now. It's totally up to Ridge. I just hope he's not so disillusioned he gives in.

Stephanie: Gives in to what?

Taylor: To Brooke. He's over there right now. I can feel it.

Brooke: I am not going to let you go through this alone. I want you to stay here with me. In the morning, you can go home and get your things while Taylor's at work.

Ridge: Logan --

Brooke: What?

Ridge: I can't stay here.

Brooke: Okay. Well, maybe it is too soon. We'll get you a room at the club.

Ridge: I can't stay at the club, either. I have a home.

Brooke: What are you telling me?

Ridge: Logan, I'm telling you that I love and care about you very much, but I have children, and I have a marriage.

Brooke: So you're saying?

Ridge: I'm saying that what Taylor did was very wrong, and in a way, I feel partially responsible.

Brooke: What?!

Ridge: I had no idea how insecure she actually was. I guess I had blinders on, and I really didn't see it.

Brooke: Well, you're not going to forgive her, are you?!

Ridge: Of course I'm going to forgive her. She's my wife.

Brooke: Your wife? You're not going to leave her?

Ridge: Look, I've never been angrier or more upset at Taylor --

Brooke: Ridge, how could you love her after this?! She hurt me! She tore my family apart! She lied to you and to me, too! You can't love somebody like that, not after what she did. You love me. I know you do. I see it every time you look at me. And now, we can share that love. This is our chance, Ridge -- our chance to stop denying what we want and what we need -- each other.

Ridge: Brooke, this is not going to happen for us. I've been telling you that the whole time.

Brooke: You don't believe that! You wanted me, Ridge. I know you did. Well, you can have me. You can have all of me. Don't you see? It was meant to be this way. This was supposed to happen. Now, you can leave Taylor, and you can still have a clear conscience. She doesn't deserve you, and you certainly can't love her after what she did. My God, Ridge, we love each other, and it's such a treasure, and you can't leave. You can't just forget about that. So please don't go home. Don't go.

Ridge: Logan, I'm sorry, but I have to say this. In spite of everything that's happened, I am still in love with my wife. I'm not gonna leave Taylor.

[Brooke cries]

Brooke: Ridge, no!

Ridge: Brooke, please don't do this. Don't do this. Please.

Brooke: Ridge, you can't walk away, not this time!

Ridge: Brooke, you've got to accept this. You've got to accept it.

Brooke: No!

Ridge: Come on. Let me have Bridget come over and stay with you.

Brooke: I don't want Bridget! Please, I want you!

Ridge: But you can't have me! You can't have me. I'm sorry.

[Brooke cries] I have to go home. Brooke, you have to let go. Please, you have to let go.

[Brooke cries]

Brooke: Ridge, oh, please. Please don't go. Ridge! Ridge! No, Ridge!

[Brooke cries] Ridge!

Announcer: Coming soon --

Brooke: He went home to be with his wife.

Announcer: Brooke Logan's dream is shattered.

Brooke: It's over for Ridge and me.

Announcer: And Stephanie can't wait to rub it in.

Stephanie: You've been stalking him for years, and now, he's rejected you.

Announcer: Now, can Brooke make a comeback?

Brooke: I don't need to justify myself to you, not after what you did to me!

Announcer: Because what happens next --

Stephanie: Beneath that beautiful face and body of yours is a really evil, wicked woman.

Announcer: -- Is everything.

Brooke: I said get out!

Stephanie: You're finally finished.
