Eric: Resist him, Kristen. You've gotta resist him. Your life depends on it.

Brooke: Dad, I want to talk about your condition.

Stephen: Well, honey, there's -- there's sort of not much to say.

Brooke: I'm not going to just sit here in Paris, waiting for you to die. Now, Ridge has made a few suggestions, and maybe you and your doctors have considered it.

Stephen: I wish you wouldn't talk to Ridge.

Brooke: Why?

Stephen: All right, what did he suggest?

Brooke: A Heart Transplant.

Stephen: Well, I don't think that's an option.

Brooke: Are you sure? Ridge thought that maybe --

Stephen: Is there anything you don't discuss with Ridge?

Brooke: Dad.

Beth: Is it true, Brooke?

Brooke: Mom, I don't think this is the time or the place.

Beth: Brooke, he's married. He has children!

Brooke: I think the only thing we should be discussing right now is dad's condition. Now, I want to see your doctor.

Stephen: Brooke -- Brooke, honey, I'm dying. And you have to accept that. And your mother has to accept it, too. Now, please, I don't want to discuss this anymore.

Brooke: All right, all right, Dad. I'm sorry. I don't mean to upset you. We'll just talk about this later, okay? Mom, I'm gonna make some tea.

Ridge: Hey, doc, can I talk to you about something?

Taylor: What?

Ridge: Brooke.

Taylor: What about her?

Ridge: Tonight at the coffeehouse, you started feeling a little sick just at the mention of her name.

Taylor: Well, it's --

Ridge: I think I know why you did that.

Taylor: You do?

Ridge: Yeah, I do. After everything that Brooke has put you through the last while, the last thing you needed to hear was me being compassionate toward her. I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry. And I also wanted to say thank you.

Taylor: Why?

Ridge: For insisting that she go to Paris to be with her dad. I really don't think if you hadn't done that she would have gone. And I think you did the right thing.

Stephanie: Where are you going, Clarke, having done your damage?

Clarke: What damage?

Stephanie: Inciting Eric to rush over to Tony's. Or was that always your plan?

Clarke: Stephanie, I didn't come here with a plan.

Stephanie: Oh, I see. Just your daily good deed.

Clarke: You know, I care about Kristen. I love her very much.

Stephanie: Mm-hm. Especially now that it appears Eric is on your side.

Clarke: Stephanie, I am worried about her. This man is a threat to her.

Stephanie: Clarke, Tony may be HIV positive, but I do not believe that he's going to infect Kristen.

Eric: Almost there. Almost there. Hang on, honey. Don't do anything stupid.

Taylor: Ridge, I didn't exactly insist that Brooke go away to Paris.

Ridge: No, but you made a pretty good case of it, doc. You were right. Her father needed her, and as you so eloquently pointed out, she needed to be there for him. I don't know how long it's gonna take, but I think someday Brooke's gonna thank you for that.

Taylor: Well, I think the best thing now is for Brooke and her family to go on with their lives, and we'll go on with ours.

Ridge: They are gonna need a little support.

Taylor: What are you talking about?

Ridge: It's gotta be a hell of a situation. I mean, that's emotionally draining for all of them.

Taylor: Well, sweetheart, there's really not much we can do about that. They're in Paris.

Ridge: A little compassion wouldn't hurt.

Taylor: You don't think I'm being compassionate?

Ridge: No, that's not I'm saying at all. Taylor, you single-handedly convinced Brooke to move to Paris to be with he father. And it's not like you don't know a little bit about that. You had a sick father not too long ago, too.

Taylor: Yeah, and fortunately, my father got better.

Ridge: Yeah, well, unfortunately I don't think that's gonna be the case for Stephen Logan.

Beth: Stephen, you can't keep this up. It's impossible.

Stephen: We are going to keep this up. Our daughter. She loves you. She's worried about you. She's worried death about you.

Stephen: We've got her away from Ridge Forrester. And we're gonna keep her away from Ridge. Look, he's poison. You know that as surely as we're standing here. But, fortunately, Mr. Marone has given us the means and the method to get rid of Ridge Forrester from her life forever. Okay, it's not gonna be easy, but we can do it. We are going to do it for Brooke.

Tony: Amazing.

Kristen: I thought so.

Tony: I've never felt this close to anyone.

Kristen: Oh, I've felt this way about you for a long time.

Tony: To know that we can do this -- touch -- feel each other's lips against each other and be safe.

Kristen: It's all about knowing your expectations. I'm good at that.

Tony: To me, making love has always been about no limitations.

Kristen: No, it's not about that at all, Tony. It's about giving, sharing, pleasuring. Now we just have to do that different than other people.

Tony: I want to know exactly what we can and can't do. I haven't kissed your lips in so long. Is that forbidden?

Kristen: I'm not sure. We'd have to ask someone.

Tony: Soon?

Kristen: Well, you're really into this, aren't you?

Tony: No, I'm into you, Kristen Forrester. I love you. Much.

Kristen: I love you, too.

Eric: No. No! [Glass shattering]

Brooke: Here, you go, Mom. Are you all right?

Beth: Don't worry about me, Brooke.

Brooke: Well, I do. I know that this is weighing on you. I think we should all go see a counselor.

Stephen: Um -- oh, this jet lag is getting to me. I think I'd better go lie down.

Brooke: Oh, all right, Dad. I love you. I'll always be here for you. You know that.

Stephen: I know.

Brooke: Okay.

Beth: I'll be right back.

Brooke: Sure.

Clarke: Stephanie, do you want to trust your daughter's life to a reckless playboy?

Stephanie: Go home, Clarke.

Clarke: That's what he is. He goes out, he has unprotected sex, he gets HIV. Is that the kind of guy that you want your daughter to spend the rest of her life with?

Stephanie: Now, you know, you should be ashamed of yourself. People make mistakes. Tony made a mistake. He doesn't deserve to die for it any more than you deserve to die for the fact that you're just plain stupid.

Clarke: You know, Stephanie, you should be careful. You're talking to your future son-in-law.

Stephanie: And on top of it, a fool. Now go home. Go.

Kristen: Dad?!

Eric: What the hell are you doing here, Kristen?

Tony: All right, look, take it easy, Mr. Forrester, okay?

Eric: Did you have sex with my daughter?

Kristen: Don't answer him, Tony. It's none of his business.

Eric: You get dressed.

Kristen: You don't tell me what to do. I am not a teenager.

Eric: Do you have any idea what he may have done to you?! Are you completely ignoring that?

Kristen: We didn't have sex!

Eric: You're half-naked, Kristen!

Kristen: And you're out of line.

Eric: Now you put some clothes on. We're leaving right now.

Kristen: No, I am not going anywhere. And if you ever want to talk to me again, you will be the one to leave right now.

Tony: Look, Mr. Forrester, I would never harm a woman that means more to me than my own life.

Eric: You risked her life, Tony!

Kristen: Dad, no he didn't! This was not Tony's idea. It was mine. I convinced him to put our love in my hands, that I would know when to stop. And he did. And I did. There is nothing wrong with what happened here tonight. It was pure and beautiful until you ruined it!

[Knock on door]

Stephanie: Mass?

Massimo: Is this a bad time?

Stephanie: No, come in.

Massimo: I'm sorry to interrupt your evening, Stephanie, but something rather important has come up.

Eric: I want you to come home now.

Kristen: Well, I want you to leave.

Tony: Look, Kristen, just do as your father says.

Kristen: No.

Tony: Look, we'll talk about it in the morning, okay?

Eric: No, you won't! You're gonna stay away from her, Tony, you understand? So help me God, if I find you anywhere near her --

Kristen: Enough, dad! Enough!

Tony: Look, just go, okay? Everything will be all right.

Kristen: All right. But I'm only going because you asked me to.

Stephanie: Is this about Brooke?

Massimo: No, no, no. It's about her father. I gave him a card, and he lost it.

Stephanie: He lost a card?

Massimo: Yes, it was card with one of my phone numbers on it.

Stephanie: Well, mass, why don't you just call him in Paris and give him the number again?

Massimo: Right, I already have. But you see, this is a dedicated line for just this project and this project alone. Now, if this falls into the wrong hands --

Stephanie: Let me ask you -- if I found this card, and I saw these numbers, or this number, would I know what it's about?

Massimo: I don't know, maybe you're right. It's just -- it's a loose end, Stephanie. And loose ends are intolerable, especially when it comes to something this important.

Taylor: Listen, Ridge, can we just not talk about Brooke anymore? I mean, I am very sorry about what their family is going through. But at least they're all together there in Paris.

Ridge: Yes, thanks to you. [Phone rings]

Ridge: Hello? Hello, Brooke. So you made it there all right?

Brooke: Yes. Yes, we're fine. Are you alone?

Taylor: No, I'm here Brooke. Hi. How's your father?

Brooke: Actually, he's doing surprisingly well. Sometimes I wonder if there isn't more to his wanting me to stay here.

Ridge: What do you mean?

Brooke: He just doesn't seem like a man who's dying. I know he is, but --

Taylor: Well, he's just probably very relieved that you're there for him, Brooke.

Brooke: Yeah, I guess that's it. Anyway, I have to go. I'll probably do a conference with you later, Ridge.

Taylor: Oh, Brooke -- can you please remember the time difference, because it's already kind of late here.

Brooke: Yes, I know. This is strange being here in Paris, with all of this happening.

Ridge: Yeah, it's got to be a shocker. But Taylor was right, that is where you belong right now.

Brooke: I'll have to agree with you. Look, I better go. I'll talk to you later.

Ridge: Hey, Brooke -- before you hang up here -- I found a business card on the floor of your office. I don't know if it means anything. It probably doesn't, but it just seemed a little weird to me. It's a circle on the card with an "m" in the middle, embossed in gold. And there's a phone number, too. 888-555-0160.

Brooke: Doesn't sound familiar.

Ridge: All right. Well, I just thought I'd let you know anyway. So give our best to your parents, will you?

Brooke: I will. Good-bye.

Ridge: I'm gonna go get a snack. You want anything?

Taylor: No, I'm fine.

Ridge: Okay.

Brooke: 888-555-0160. That's the number Ridge just gave me.

Taylor: If Ridge and Brooke put this together, that I had something to do with any of this, Ridge will never forgive me.

Ridge: Hey, doc? You coming upstairs?

Taylor: Yeah. I'll see you up there.
