Massimo: You done?
Eric: I told you to stay away from my family. I warned you.
Massimo: And now I'm warning you. You assaulted the wrong man, Eric Forrester.
Eric: You don't intimidate me, Massimo. Now get off my property, now!
Massimo: Stephanie and I haven't finished our conversation.
Eric: Yes, you have.
Stephanie: Oh, please, let's just stop this. This is so silly.
Eric: What gives you the right to come in here and vilify me in front of my wife? If you had an ounce of decency, you'd confront me face-to-face.
Massimo: If you had an ounce of decency, I wouldn't have to confront you. You want to know what I think of you, Eric? I'll tell you. And I guarantee you're not gonna like it.
Taylor: Watch it!
Megan: Taylor, hi.
Taylor: Is he in there?
Megan: Yeah, he's in a meeting.
Taylor: Buzz him!
Megan: Taylor, is everything okay?
Taylor: I need to talk to my husband right now. I need to see him right now, Megan.
Ridge: I don't know, guys. I told Brooke I didn't want to do this. It seems risky to me.
Greg: Sure, it's risky. You're doing something nobody's ever tried before.
Dianne: This campaign is gonna take off like a San Bernardino wildfire. It's been testing off the charts.
Ridge: But are these designs gonna fly off the rack? I mean, bottom line -- is this ad campaign gonna make people want to buy our clothes?
Dianne: Ridge, you know fashion isn't just about clothes. It's about an image. Like Brooke says -- we're not just selling lingerie, we're selling a fantasy. That's what these ads are about.
Ridge: Taylor, what are you doing here?
Taylor: I need to talk to you.
Ridge: We're in a meeting right now.
Taylor: It can't wait.
Ridge: Uh, Greg, Dianne, give us a few minutes. We'll finish this later. Taylor, what's goin' on?
Taylor: It's Brooke. I can't take it anymore. You have to do something. I cannot deal with this. I thought I could handle it, but I cannot.
Ridge: Okay, okay. Just calm down. There's no reason to get all worked up.
Taylor: Well, of course I'm all worked up, because this is exactly the way Brooke wants me to be! Now, I know you're telling me that there's nothing to worry about and that you will handle this, but, you know, it's not gonna work. It's just not. Because Brooke's not normal. Because you can't talk to her. She's not rational. The only way you can protect this family is to just shut her off. Just completely cut her out of your life. You can't see Brooke ever again.
Brooke: You're kidding. Taylor just barged into the office?
Megan: Uh-huh. I told her Ridge was in a meeting. She didn't care.
Brooke: Wow, that doesn't sound like her.
Megan: I know, it's bizarre. I mean, normally, she's so in control. But today, I swear she was almost manic.
Megan: I know that sounds ludicrous. It is Taylor we're talking about --
Brooke: It's really getting to her.
Brooke: The pressure. She can't deny it anymore. Her marriage is falling apart. This could be it, Megan. This could be the end for Ridge and Taylor.
Megan: You think Ridge and Taylor are breaking up right now?
Brooke: It's possible. If she's really as upset as you say she is.
Megan: No, Brooke, she wouldn't do that. Unless -- Brooke, has something happened between you and Ridge?
Brooke: Not yet. But the feelings are there.
Megan: So Ridge hasn't actually done anything yet.
Brooke: I never cheated on Thorne, and look what happened to us.
Megan: Gosh, you really believe that their marriage is breaking up.
Brooke: I don't know. You saw her. What do you think?
Megan: Look, Brooke, I'm sorry. I know you want a future with Ridge. But this just doesn't feel right. I mean, look at it -- Taylor has been through so much.
Brooke: Megan, I have nothing against Taylor. I really don't want to hurt her. But she has to face the truth. I love Ridge, and he loves me. And the sooner she accepts that, the sooner we can all get on with our lives.
Ridge: Taylor, did something else happen? Did you and Brooke have another fight?
Taylor: Do I have to wait for something else to happen? Do I have to wait for her to turn my entire family upside down? This has been going on for years, Ridge, and I want it to stop.
Ridge: All right, I'll get her to back off.
Taylor: Oh, come on, Ridge. Okay, even if you did that -- even if you got her to back off and you got her to agree to leave us alone, how long do you think that would last? What, for a couple of years? It's only a matter of time before we'd be facing the same conflicts, the same threats. Ridge, don't you see?! It's like a big circle that keeps going on, year after year, over and over again! I can't take it anymore! You've gotta end it.
Ridge: End it?
Taylor: Cut all ties with Brooke.
Ridge: Come on, doc, you know that's not possible. Logan and I work together.
Taylor: Don't call her "Logan"!
Ridge: All right. We need to think about this. There has to be some rational solution to this problem.
Taylor: You don't think I'm being rational?
Ridge: I think you're upset. And you have every right to be. And what Brooke is doing is not healthy for you or for her.
Taylor: I don't give a damn about her, and I would really like to understand why you do.
Ridge: Brooke and I are involved in a very important business project right now.
Taylor: Let your father handle it.
Ridge: It's my project.
Taylor: Well, it's his company. Well it was, until she stole it from him.
Ridge: Taylor, please don't be like this.
Taylor: Well, what, do you want me to apologize for being angry and trying to protect my family? You want me to sit on my hands and let this maniac dismantle my family! I won't do it! Not gonna happen! I am through playing by her rules. I am done being understanding. Ridge, she doesn't deserve our sympathy. She deserves to be run out of town!
Ridge: Taylor, Brooke is not the devil. She's just -- going through something --
Taylor: "Going through something." Bull! I am so sick of that argument! Poor Brooke. It's not her fault. No, it's not her fault that she's just about ruined the life of every man in this family. No, she's not evil. She's just misunderstood! Well, let me tell you something about miss Brooke "homewrecker" Logan. She is a threat to my family. She is a threat to our children. And I want her to leave us alone. And you are the only one who can make her do it.
Ridge: I'm trying.
Taylor: Not hard enough. If you want to save this marriage, you better shut her out of your life! And I mean this time, for good!
Stephanie: Eric, this is just totally out of hand. You're acting like petulant school boys.
Eric: Don't you want to hear what your old friend has to say about me?
Eric: Well, I do. I'd like to know how it's possible to offend a man of such dubious moral fiber. What gives you the right to judge me?
Massimo: Oh, I'm not judging you, Eric. Personally, I don't care what the hell you do. But I do care very much for Stephanie. And what you've done to her life should be a crime.
Eric: Yeah, and you would know all about that, wouldn't you?
Massimo: Your flippancy doesn't impress me. It can't hide your guilt. And it's an insult to your wife.
Eric: The insult is to me that you would come in here after I told you to stay away.
Massimo: Of course. Of course. You think this is all about you. Right? The great, the powerful Eric Forrester. The king of the fashion industry. A man as dignified and as sophisticated as the clothes that he creates. There's nothing dignified about abandoning your wife, sir. Throwing away years of loyal companionship and commitment for the titillation of a young woman. Where is the sophistication in that? Hmm? It's appalling, to subject a woman of her Grace and elegance to such indignities. For God's sake, she gave you the money to start Forrester creations! And how do you repay her generosity? You have two children with a woman who is her worst enemy. You cheat on her! You allow Brooke Logan to insult her family, and then you allow her to take over your company. Eric Forrester. Ha! You are either the most despicable or the most selfish man that I have ever met.
Eric: You don't approve of my behavior?
Massimo: No. I find it boorish and self-indulgent.
Stephanie: Massimo, you're overstepping your bounds here. And getting into personal issues that Eric and I have long ago resolved.
Eric: My wife doesn't need you to defend her. She's perfectly capable of defending herself.
Massimo: I'm sure she can. She's had plenty of practice. She's had to protect this family, single-handedly, for years.
Eric: What are you saying? That I can't protect my family?
Massimo: I don't know. Can you? I certainly would like to see you try.
Stephanie: Massimo, that is uncalled for.
Massimo: Then why is Brooke still pursuing your son? Surely, the father of her children could talk them into leaving this family alone. You never even talked to her, did you?
Eric: That's none of your business.
Massimo: Of course it's none of my business. It's too embarrassing to admit.
Eric: I'm not embarrassed.
Massimo: Well, you should be. You knew what kind of a woman Brooke was, and you still let her marry both your sons. Did you let Stephanie know that Brooke was involved with Thorne? Hmm? Did you call her in Portofino and tell her that Brooke was up to her same old tricks? No. As usual, you chose to do nothing. And you left her to clean up the mess.
Eric: All right. That's enough. I've heard enough.
Massimo: But I'm just getting started.
Eric: Yes, I can see that. I have a meeting. I'll see you at home tonight. If he's still here in five minutes, I'll have security remove him.
Brooke: Shh. Be quiet, I can't hear.
Megan: Are you out of your mind? What if Ridge catches you?
Brooke: Ridge is still talking to her.
Megan: What are they saying?
Brooke: They're arguing. She's really letting him have it. Oh, Megan, she knows. She knows that Ridge has feelings for me.
Megan: Did he say something?
Brooke: Well, he doesn't have to. Taylor's an intelligent woman. The brilliant Dr. Hayes. She understands our history. She sees where this is going. Ridge and I are going to be together. Now all she has to do is face the truth, confront Ridge, and accept it. I knew this was going to happen. I just didn't know it was going to happen so soon.
Ridge: Taylor, this is a very difficult and complicated situation here. And you're not making it easier by giving me ultimatums.
Taylor: Is that what you think I'm doing?
Ridge: I'm just trying to solve this conflict, that's all. And you tell me I'm not doing enough. If I'm really serious about saving our marriage, I have to cut off all contact with Brooke. That's what you said, right?
Taylor: Yeah, but that's not an ultimatum, Ridge. It's just that it's the only way for us to handle it. I mean, as long as she's a part of your life, yeah, she's going to cause problems for us.
Ridge: She's only going to be a problem if we allow her to be that.
Taylor: You think I'm overreacting?
Ridge: I think you're very stressed out. And I think you're trying to protect your family, which I appreciate and understand. But I need you to know that I'm watching Brooke very closely here. But I'm not going to just shut her out of my life. I don't see any reason for doing that.
Taylor: You don't see any reason for it? Ridge, you can't deny that the two of you have a history together. You can't deny that she doesn't try to tempt you all the time. I am your wife, Ridge. I am the mother of your children. Sometimes our marriage takes work. That's reality. You know, it's car pools, it's soccer games, skinned knees, crying children, not enough sleep at night. And sometimes it's not always romantic. Sometimes I'm not in the mood. And we come home and we're both tired and we're both stressed out, and there are definitely times when we don't get along. But let me tell you, those are the moments that Brooke is waiting for. She is just waiting for them. Just hoping and waiting, like a vulture, looking for some sign of weakness. I cannot live like that, Ridge! I can't! How can I be a good mother? How can I be a good wife when I'm always feeling like I'm walking on eggshells?
Ridge: Look, I know this is nerve-wracking. And I know Brooke is being a nuisance. She's threatening you. She's pushing all your buttons, right? But I'm telling you, Taylor, in a few weeks, this whole thing is just gonna blow over.
Taylor: You won't do it.
Ridge: I told you, I can't!
Taylor: I don't believe this! I don't believe you!
Ridge: Taylor, I work with her! She's CEO of this company! Can't you understand that?
Taylor: Oh, you just made your position perfectly clear! You're more concerned about this business than you are your own family! Or maybe there's more to it.
Ridge: Taylor, wait a minute! Taylor, stop, let's talk about this! Dammit!
Megan: I'll talk to you later.
Brooke: Okay. Where are you going?
Brooke: Don't you think you should let Taylor cool off first?
Ridge: You heard?
Brooke: It was kind of hard not to.
Ridge: Don't do that. This is nothing to smile about, Brooke. You're driving my wife crazy.
Brooke: And what about you? Am I driving you crazy? I used to be able to do that.
Ridge: I'm serious, Logan.
Brooke: So am I
Ridge: Stop it!
Brooke: Make me.
Ridge: You don't get this, do you? This isn't funny. Taylor doesn't want me to see you at all anymore.
Brooke: And yet here we are. Or did you just come out here to give me your resignation?
Ridge: Are you trying to make me angry now?
Brooke: Maybe. You're so darn cute when you're mad.
Ridge: How long are you going to keep this up?
Brooke: Until you realize that we belong together. But don't worry, Ridge, the way things are going, we won't need to do this dance much longer.
Stephanie: Massimo, I do not appreciate you lambasting my husband that way.
Massimo: Well, I didn't see you jump in to defend him.
Stephanie: He's a big boy, he can fight his own battles.
Massimo: Yes, but the question is, does he have the strength and determination to win them?
Stephanie: Mass, I appreciate your concern. But I will not allow you to blame Eric for what Brooke has done to our family. He did warn Thorne. He sent Ridge over to Venice to try and stop the wedding. Look, we've done everything possible. Everything humanly possible to keep that woman out of our lives, and nothing seems to work.
[Cell phone ringing] I'm gonna take that, it might be Taylor. Hello, Taylor?
Taylor: Oh, Stephanie. Thank God, I found you, something terrible happened!
Stephanie: What is it? What's the matter, honey?
Taylor: Ridge and I just had a terrible fight. I asked him to stay away from her, and do you know what he said? Do you know what he said? He said he won't do it! She's getting through to him!
Stephanie: Calm down, please? Now, look, you cannot allow yourself to be dragged into arguments like this. What exactly did he say to you?
Taylor: He thinks I'm overreacting. He's completely blind to everything that Brooke does. You have to help me! You have to get Ridge away from her, please!
Stephanie: Taylor, I told you, I will take care of this. Now, don't worry. Please. I'm not going to allow anyone to break up your family. I promise you that.
Taylor: Will you call me as soon as you know what's going on?
Stephanie: Of course I will.
Taylor: Thank you.
Massimo: Stephanie, what's going on?
Stephanie: It's Brooke.
Massimo: Oh, God! What is she up to now?
Stephanie: My son and his wife have just had a terrible argument and Taylor's beside herself. I mean, she's just distraught. I mean, how long does Brooke keep doing this? When does it all end?
Massimo: When do you want it to end? Just say the word. I'm here for you, Stephanie. I want to help you.
Stephanie: How could you possibly help me?
Massimo: I can get Brooke Logan away from your family. Is that what you want?
Stephanie: Is that what I want? Is that what I want? I want that more than anything in the world. Mass, if you could help me, if you could do that, I would be indebted to you for the rest of my life.
Massimo: Sweetheart, I'd do anything to help you. You know that.
