Brooke: So why -- I don't understand why you didn't tell me you saw Bridget.

Thorne: Because, honey, I wanted you to enjoy your night.

Brooke: Honey, what happened? Was she upset?

Thorne: She wouldn't talk to me about it, you know. Bridget has so much pride.

Brooke: Yes, she does, but just wait until the truth comes out that Deacon wants to run, off with Amber or that he was using her.

Thorne: She's going to be humiliated.

Brooke: You know, she turned her back on her family for that man. She gave him everything.

Thorne: I know, all for a damn con.

Brooke: No matter what happens, I don't think we'll ever have our Bridget back. She'll never be the same sweet girl that she was.

Bridget: You must be pretty proud of yourself, huh?

Deacon: No.

Bridget: Why not? It's quite an accomplishment. You got me to fall in love with someone who doesn't even exist. I'm such a joke. None of this was real.

Deacon: Bridget, some of it was.

Bridget: You just can't stop lying, can you?

Deacon: You said you heard me talking to Amber, right? Well then, you heard me say how bad I felt about this, how special I think you are.

Bridget: Oh, yes, so special. So special that when you made love to me, you had to turn out the lights and pretend I was someone else. That's what I heard.

Deacon: Bridget, that was because of me, not you. I felt guilty!

Bridget: Because you were just using me.

Deacon: I use everybody! That's what I do. For me, sex is -- it's just that. It's sex. It always has been. But see, I knew it was different for you, and that changed everything for me.

Bridget: Yeah, that made you hate it.

Deacon: No, no, that made me hate myself.

Bridget: But not enough to stop! Oh, but you couldn't do that, right? Because then you'd lose Amber. But you know what, Deacon? You never had her! You never will! She doesn't want you! So you did all this for nothing. You ruined my life for no reason! I guess that makes us look pretty pathetic, huh?

Deacon: No, just me. Baby, please stop crying.

Bridget: Oh, God! Don't touch me. Get -- just get out. I don't want you near me! Just get the hell out!

Deacon: Calm down. Just take it easy.

Bridget: Get out! Get out! Get out!

Deacon: All right. All right. All right.

[Bridget crying]

Rick: Look, you're not gonna convince me, so you might as well stop trying.

Amber: He really feels bad.

Rick: Amber, it's an act. He's trying to impress you. If he really cared about Bridget, he'd tell her the truth.

Amber: Well, I think he's going to.

Rick: Well, sure -- as soon as he gets you and Eric back.

Amber: Well, that's never going to happen.

Rick: Exactly. Look, the only way that Bridget is going to get rid of him is if she kicks his sorry butt out.

Amber: You know, I tried to talk to him about it, but he just wouldn't listen to me.

Rick: Look, can we just stop talking about Deacon, please? I haven't seen you all day. I missed you.

Amber: I'm sorry. I missed you, too.

[Phone rings]

Amber: Uhh! I'll tell whoever it is that we're busy. Hello?

Deacon: I need you.

Amber: Deacon, I'm with my husband. I can't talk to you right now.

Deacon: Amber, she knows.

Amber: What?

Deacon: She heard us talking.

Amber: Oh, my God. Is she okay?

Rick: Is it Bridget? What's wrong?

Amber: Deacon, just calm down, okay?

Deacon: I don't know what to do. Everything I'm doing is wrong. I'm making this worse.

Amber: Okay, just leave her alone. Okay, we're on our way over, and Deacon, you better get out of there, 'cause her family's gonna want to skin you alive.

Rick: What's going on?

Amber: Bridget found out.

Rick: How?

Amber: She heard Deacon and me talking. Oh, I'm -- I'm gonna go get Helen to watch the baby. You call your mother, okay?

Tony: What are you smiling at?

Kristen: Just happy. Not about Ellen, of course. I know you're upset about that.

Tony: No, no, no, there's nothing I can do over it. You're right. We should be happy.

Kristen: You know, I am usually so careful about everything.

Tony: I've noticed.

Kristen: I know what to expect from one day to the next, but now, it's like anything can happen. It's like this all the time for you, isn't it?

Tony: Well, for anybody who doesn't play by the rules.

Kristen: Now rules exist for a reason.

Tony: Yes, to make things predictable and to give the timid a place to hide.

Kristen: Hide from what?

Tony: Life. Everything that makes your heart pound, everything that's exciting -- adventure, love.

Kristen: Danger, and there's disappointment and getting your heart broken.

Tony: That, too.

Kristen: Are you gonna break my heart?

Tony: Maybe. Are you willing to take the risk?

Kristen: You've been a good influence on me. What?

Tony: It's just that that's new to me. I've never been anyone's role model before.

Kristen: Really?

Tony: Really. I can honestly say that this is a first. Now, I have led a few people astray before.

Kristen: Now, that's what I'm talking about. See, I needed a little leading astray.

Tony: Well, in that case, I'm your man.

Kristen: You know, I think it's more than that. I mean, look at what an impact you've already had on my life.

Tony: I think you're giving me a little too much credit.

Kristen: No, Tony, I'm serious. I have made more progress with my family in the last few weeks than I did in the whole ten years before that. I couldn't have done that without you. Your insight, your perspective --

Tony: If you wouldn't have been ready to change, you wouldn't have listened to me.

Kristen: Well, you're right. You know, you could have given me the same advice ten years ago, and I'd have blown you off.

Tony: No, because ten years ago, I hadn't figured out the advice I had given you.

Kristen: Well, I guess it's lucky we met when we did, then.

Tony: I don't believe in luck. I think everything happens for a reason -- when you're ready for it.

Kristen: Are you saying you're ready for me?

Tony: Are you saying I've got you?

Kristen: Oh, yeah. You've got me.

Brooke: So what did she hear?

Rick: I don't know, exactly, but Amber told me before that Deacon kept going on and on about how guilty he felt.

Brooke: Guilty?

Rick: Well, for taking advantage of Bridget.

Brooke: So that's what he said? He said that he was just using her?

Rick: He must have. Well, they thought Bridget was off somewhere else, talking to a friend.

Brooke: But she heard everything?

Rick: Enough for Deacon to call here, freaking out.

Brooke: Oh, my God.

Rick: Look, Bridget must be a mess, okay? I'm gonna call her.

Brooke: Okay, look, I'm gonna call your father and fill him in, and then I'll be over there right away.

Thorne: Bridget found out?

Brooke: Deacon opened up his mouth one too many times.

Thorne: Oh, God, honey, we've got to go get her.

Brooke: I know. My baby's coming home.

[Phone rings]

Bridget: It's Amber's number. Amber. Always calling, always coming over. I have to get out of here. What are you doing here? I told you to get out.

Deacon: Bridget, I can't leave you alone.

Bridget: Well, you don't have a choice.

Deacon: Look, I'll just -- I'll stay outside, all right? I -- I'm not gonna bother you. I just want to make sure you're all right.

Bridget: I'm calling the police.

Deacon: What are you gonna say to them?

Bridget: That you're an intruder, and that they should shoot to kill. I'll tell them that you're trespassing.

Deacon: I'm still your husband.

Bridget: My husband? My husband? You're more like my rapist!

Deacon: Bridget --

Bridget: You have no idea how this feels. How it feels to be so -- so --

Deacon: Violated?

Bridget: Yes. Yes, by someone that you trusted, by someone that you would've done anything for.

Deacon: Bridget, I do know.

Bridget: But you still did it. You still did it for Amber and your son. I'm glad they took him away from you. I'm glad, because you are sick, and you're full of hate, and you don't deserve him, and I hope you never get to see him again, ever!

Deacon: Bridget, wait! Wait! Calm down. Calm down.

Bridget: Don't touch me! Don't ever touch me!

Deacon: Bridget, wait! You can't drive!

Amber: Helen's on her way over.

Rick: Good. Good. Mom's gonna meet us there. I just tried calling Bridget, but she didn't answer the phone.

Amber: Did she leave?

Rick: I don't know. Look, why don't you try calling Deacon again?

Amber: Oh, no, he's long gone by now.

Rick: Good. You know, if I ever see that guy's face again --

Amber: Look, let's just concentrate on finding Bridget, okay? Hopefully she's all right.

Rick: All right? Amber, she just found out that her husband was using her to get to you.

Amber: Yeah, but -- but she's been suspecting it for a while. I mean, I know tonight at dinner, she was testing him.

Rick: That's not gonna make this any easier for her to deal with.

Amber: Yeah, but she has you and your parents. She'll be all right. At least it's all over.

Rick: Yeah. Yeah, you know what? You're right. I'm gonna go get the car, we're gonna go over there -- you know what? She was probably just too upset to pick up the phone.

Tony: Muchas gracias. Buenas noches.

Kristen: Oh, where's the bellman?

Tony: I sent him away.

Kristen: You know, he still has my room key.

Tony: Oh, you mean this?

Kristen: Oh.

Tony: You know, I was thinking, you could save yourself a lot of money if you just canceled your room and stayed here with me.

Kristen: Oh, that's very thoughtful of you.

Tony: Well, isn't it?

Kristen: Look -- good night.

Tony: Wait a minute, don't go.

Kristen: Tony, you can't expect me to break all the rules in one night.

Tony: Well, why not?

Kristen: It's just too fast for me.

Tony: It was too fast for you to come to Miami, but here you are. Stay here with me.

Bridget: I'm such an idiot. God, why didn't I listen?

[Bridget remembering]

Eric: He's just using you.

Rick: It's all part of his plan to get Amber back.

Eric: You're a young girl. You're being manipulated. He's a dangerous man.

Amber: He's lying to you, Bridget. I'm the one he wants.

Brooke: Deacon is a cruel person.

Amber: Deacon doesn't care about you. He only married you to get back at your family.

[Bridget crying]

Eric: I can't accept this for you. I won't accept this.

Rick: Get it straight. He has no feelings for you.

Brooke: Deacon is using you.

Amber: Deacon doesn't love you.

Eric: He's going to abuse you.

Rick: Can't you see how he's manipulating you?

Eric: He doesn't love you. He's lashing out at us.

Brooke: Deacon's in love with Amber. Deacon Sharpe does not love you.

[Bridget crying]

[Horn blowing]

Deacon: Come on, Bridget. Pull over.

Bridget: Deacon, leave me alone.

Kristen: It's late. We should get some sleep.

Tony: I don't want to sleep. I want to make love to you.

Kristen: I can't. Not yet. It's too soon.

Tony: Okay. Come on. I'll walk you to your room.

Kristen: No. I think we'd better say good-night right here -- before I change my mind. Whoo! I must be crazy. Good-night.

Tony: Good-night.

Amber: What's wrong?

Rick: Door's open. Bridget?

Amber: Bridget?

Rick: Bridget, it's Rick.

Amber: Try the bedroom. You're the best.

Brooke: Bridget, honey? What are you doing here, Amber?

Amber: I came to help.

Brooke: But you're the person that Deacon's in love with. Seeing you is only going to upset Bridget even more.

Rick: She's not here.

Eric: Where is she?

Brooke: We don't know.

Eric: Try her cell phone. Rick, see if she's in the garage.

Amber: Maybe she's at the beach.

Thorne: Bridget?

Eric: Bridget? Bridget?

Thorne: I'll tell you what, Dad. You head up this way, I'll go down this way. Bridget?

[Horn blowing]

Bridget: Stop following me!

[Horn blowing]

Deacon: Damn it, Bridget, slow down! I'm just making this worse. Back off, back off, back off, come on.

Bridget: You stay away from me. Oh, God, how could I be so stupid? I thought he loved me. He was just using me, and I let him. I let him. I married him.

[Bridget crying]

[Bridget remembering]

Minister: Do you take this woman for your wedded wife?

Deacon: What if I told you ever since the last time I saw you, I haven't been able to get you off my mind?

Minister: -- To live together in the holy estate of matrimony --

Deacon: I look at you like you're a woman -- a beautiful woman, and I'm falling for you.

Minister: -- To love her, comfort her, honor and keep her --

Deacon: I knew that you were the one for me.

Minister: -- In sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, keep you only unto her for as long as you both shall live?

Deacon: I will. I will.

[Bridget crying]

Deacon: I will. I will.

Bridget: Lies. It was all a lie.

[Bridget crying]

Deacon: No, don't, Bridget!

[Crunching sounds]

Deacon: What's happening? Bridget, Bridget, come on, come here. Oh, oh, no. Oh, no. Bridget, it's okay. Help! Somebody help me, please! It's okay. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. It's okay. They're gonna be here in just a second. Just a second. Just relax. Please, somebody help! It's okay, hang on. Hang on. I'm so sorry, baby.
