Brooke: Will you please just do this for me and your father? Come home with us, Bridget. Right now. Please.
Deacon: Mrs. Forrester, with all due respect --
Eric: If you have any respect, you'd keep your mouth shut while we talk to our daughter.
Deacon: She is your daughter. You're right. But she's also my wife now. And I don't want her to go.
Sally: Oh, Saul, you were my heart and soul, old friend. Wherever I go, I got to take you with me.
Darla: Hey, Sal, where's Clarke?
Sally: I don't know, honey. You'll probably find him in his office packing.
Darla: Packing? What do you mean? What are you doing?
Sally: Darla, honey, there's something I gotta tell you.
Darla: You've been drinking?
Sally: Oh, Clarke and I, we had a little taste, to make a toast to Spectra.
Darla: Why? What's going on?
Sally: We're closing up shop, honey. Spectra's going out of business.
Sally: It shouldn't be a shock to you. We haven't been cutting it for a long time.
Darla: No. No. No. No, Sal, we've had slow periods before, come on.
Sally: I know, we have, honey. This time it's different. Because this time, I'm different, you know? I've lost all my fire, all my moxie, all my razzle, dazzle. I try to find a reason to keep on fighting, but I just can't. Sometimes when I come in here and go through the motions, rattle the papers -- like I'm sleepwalking or something.
Darla: You need a vacation.
Sally: Oh, honey, what I need is to be put out to pasture.
Darla: It's Macy, isn't it?
Sally: Of course it's Macy. I see her in every inch of this place. I look over there at that drafting table where she used to work and it's exactly the same. I look up and she's not here and I think, "Macy, where are you? Why are you so late coming in?" And then it hits me. And, darling, it hurts so bad. And then I tell myself, I got to find some way to get out of this you know? I got to look for a reason to move on. To get past it.
Darla: Sally, I know that Macy would not want us to quit, and neither would Saul.
Sally: I know that too, honey. That's what's kept me going these last six months. But it's getting harder and harder to do, you know. This was supposed to be a thriving exciting business, not a graveyard, even though that's what it's beginning to resemble, more and more. No, honey. I'm afraid it's over. The game is over. And all that's left for us to do is just pack up our things and go home.
Rick: Next time, I'll bet you swim all the way across the pool. You know what, buddy? After that, I'm going to teach you how to dive. Yeah. What do you think, 2012 maybe?
Rick: The Olympics! He'll be ready.
Amber: Sure, he will.
Little Eric: Cookies.
Amber: Oh, sure, honey. There you go. Yeah, you like those cookies.
Rick: Come here, buddy. Look, why don't you go into the bedroom and go find your cars, okay?
Rick: You're still worried about her.
Amber: Yeah, I am.
Rick: It's a done deal, Amber. If Deacon goes anywhere near Bridget again, my parents will kill him.
Amber: She's 18, Rick. She's 18 and stubborn and totally under Deacon's spell. He knows how to handle a woman. And Bridget's just in way over her head.
Thorne: What are you going to do, Deacon? You're gonna force her to stay when she wants to go home? That's the way you treat all your women?
Deacon: Thorne, I would never do that to Bridget.
Brooke: Well, that's good to know. Honey, did you hear that? He's not going to try and stop you.
Deacon: Mrs. Forrester, I think she already knows that.
Eric: Sweetheart, look, I want you to step back and think about this for a second.
Bridget: It's not like I haven't given this any thought.
Eric: Have you and Deacon been talking about marriage the last few weeks?
Eric: Within the last couple of days? No? Honey, this was an impulsive decision that happened right after Amber and Rick's wedding, wasn't it?
Bridget: It doesn't matter.
Eric: But it does matter. Bridget, it does. I'm just asking you to think about this okay? Think carefully and logically about this. Is a husband what you really want right now? It's not too late for you to get out of this. You can. Please, honey, let me help you do that.
Rick: I agree with you, Amber. Bridget is no match for Deacon. He worked her, she fell for him, and she'll end up getting hurt. But you know what? My sister is tough. Once Deacon stops drooling over her, she'll see exactly what he's doing and she'll put an end to it.
Amber: I don't think it will be that easy. Deacon can be very charming.
Rick: If you lived with him like you did. But Deacon had a reason to charming. He wanted you in bed.
Amber: He still sees Bridget as a way to get to me.
Rick: Doesn't he realize he doesn't have a chance? We're married now, Amber. It's over.
Amber: I don't think that matters to him. But if he can hang on to Bridget long enough to drive your parents over the edge then --
Rick: There's no way I'm letting you go, Amber.
Amber: Not even if your sister's life is at stake?
Brooke: Bridget, honey, we're not going to tell you what to do. We're not even going to bad-mouth Deacon. We're just going to give you enough space so that you can really give this some serious thought.
Eric: You can't do that here. Deacon's not going to allow that.
Deacon: Bridget can do whatever she wants.
Eric: Look, you married her. You're not going to give her a chance to reconsider here. This is all about your agenda.
Deacon: My agenda? You know, you're absolutely right. I do have an agenda. You know what it is? To make Bridget happy.
Brooke: Why don't you tell her to go home and weigh this? That way, she'll be truly happy with whatever she decides.
Deacon: Come here, doll, I want to talk to you.
Thorne: Bridget, don't do it.
Deacon: Thorne, why don't you give your sister a little bit of credit. She's a lot smarter than you think. Baby, listen to me, when we got married last night, I thought that was for real. It's what I wanted. And I thought it's what you wanted. If you're not sure, if you need to think about this, then you take all the time you want and you think about it. Whatever happens, your parents want to get some hot-shot attorney and slap me with some restraining order, and I never see you again, I swear to you, I'll never regret the time we spent together. Of course, I'll never be happy with another woman because you're the only woman that can make me happy. But I want you to do what's best what's best for you.
Bridget: I don't need time to think about this. I know what I want. I'm staying here with my husband.
Eric: Bridget, no.
Bridget: No, Dad. I've made my decision. Now I'm like you all to please leave.
Eric: So help me, God, if you lay one hand on her --
Deacon: Eric, this is so simple, all right? It really is. Help me out here. You want her back, you know what you have to do.
Clarke: Sally, here, I've been thinking.
Sally: Whoa, that's a news flash.
Clarke: Come on. There's a lot of things that we can do. First of all, let me go to the bank.
Sally: Oh, it's no use. I appreciate all your efforts. But you know they won't help us.
Sally: Speaking of help, will someone please explain to me why my television has only Hispanic programming. Where did we get this, Tijuana?
Darla: Oh, Sal, you must've hit the S.A.P. button.
Sally: S.A.P, what's that?
Clarke: S.A.P is secondary audio programming.
Darla: It dubs television programs into Spanish.
Sally: That means, if I want to look at my favorite program in Spanish and I push that S.A.P. button, I can program what I want?
Darla: Yeah, but not all programs are dubbed in Spanish. You know, just kind of the cutting edge ones. Then, hit your button, back to English.
Clarke: Can we get back to a rational business discussion?
Sally: Then I suggest you do what we're doing, pick up some boxes and start to fill them with things. Darla, honey, I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but we're going to have to start handing out pink slips. We'll go to the bank and we'll divide it among the workers. We'll call it severance pay.
Clarke: Sally, I know you. I can't believe you're giving up so easily. This place is your life. I can't believe you're closing it down. It's killing you.
Sally: Of course it's killing me, Clarke. What can I do about it? You've got to accept it. We've all got to accept it! We've got no choice. By the end of the week, we are all going to be standing in the unemployment line.
Irma: Welcome to "The Irma Blanco Show." My guest is one of the most talented up and coming fashion designers today -- Antonio Dominguez.
Tony: Gracious, Irma. You can call me Tony. It is good to be here.
Irma: Now, Tony, you were telling me about the growing popularity in Latino fashions.
Tony: That's right. As I tell all my friends, Hispanic is hip. It's the place to be.
Irma: Well, your collection certainly proves that.
Tony: My collection -- I've designed a few pieces.
Irma: They're all smashing, decidedly sexy. As a matter of fact, we have an example of one of those designs now. It's just beautiful.
Tony: Thank you. You, my style is evolving.
Irma: And your influence is growing. Now that you've won the Latino style competition, where do you go from here, Tony?
Rick: Mom, Dad, come on in.
Rick: What's going on?
Eric: I'm afraid we have some bad news.
Amber: It's about Bridget, isn't it?
Brooke: No surprise to you.
Rick: Well, what about Bridget?
Eric: She spent the night in Las Vegas.
Brooke: With Deacon. His favorite place to take women.
Amber: What were they doing in Las Vegas?
Brooke: She got married, Amber.
Brooke: Yes, your sister now is Mrs. Deacon Sharpe.
Rick: That son of a -- he doesn't even care about her!
Brooke: Of course he doesn't! He's in love with Amber. That's why he did this!
Bridget: Are they gone?
Bridget: They'll be back.
Deacon: Don't doubt it.
Bridget: You okay?
Deacon: Come here. Baby, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.
Bridget: Don't be. I'm fine. But, Deacon, before they come back, I want you to make love to me.
Rick: Mom, we are not going to go there. We have a serious issue to deal with!
Amber: Your mother's right. Deacon did marry Bridget because of me.
Eric: What do you suggest we do about it, Amber?
Rick: I'm going to go over there and bust that guy's --
Amber: No, you're not!
Rick: You can't expect me to let this ride.
Eric: We just don't know what to do about it.
Brooke: I think we should call Jonathan.
Eric: Anything legal is going to take days, even weeks. That's way too long. I want my daughter back home tonight.
Amber: There's only one way that can happen.
Amber: I've got to go over there and get her out of this mess.
Rick: No, Amber.
Amber: Rick, I'm the only person who has a chance of getting through to that man. And I'm going to. Dammit, I'm going to do it!
Tony: Let's see. Where do I see myself? Well, of course, I would like to have a job.
Darla: Sal, you want me to turn this off?
Sally: No, doll, it's okay. It's interesting.
Tony: I feel that I have something to offer. I mean, the Latino influence is very pervasive right now. I mean, we are becoming the largest minority group in the country. It's an incredible market.
Sally: Yeah, you bet it is, baby.
Tony: Hispanic fashion is hot right now. You see it everywhere. Magazine cover, television ads. But it is understated, culturally relevant. Am I talking too much?
Irma: No, no, you're terribly charming, Tony.
Tony: Maybe you could offer me a job?
Irma: If I had a fashion house, I would. Speaking of that -- where would you most like to work? For what design house?
Tony: Oh, any of the big ones -- Lauren, Armani, Forrester.
Sally: No, not Forrester! Too dull, no vision, they'll bury your talent if you go over there.
Tony: Of course, it would be exciting to be with an upstart company -- someone who appeals to the masses.
Irma: Well, any company would be lucky to have you. Thank you for being my guest today, Tony.
Sally: Sure, that's it. An upstart company, huh? Someone like Spectra. Someone like Spectra! That's it! Of course! That's it!
Clarke: Sally, I don't like jumping on any other designer's bandwagon, but this guy's got something we can use. Darla, get on the phone. Track down this Tony Dominguez. Use Francis, our publicist. Sally, this is an untapped market. It's huge. It could put us back in the black!
Sally: What do you think? Shall we have a go at it, huh? What do you say, Bucky? One more try to catch the brass ring, huh? This boy has something, something very magical. Antonio Dominguez -- "creator de suevos." Dreammaker.
Bridget: After everything you said to my mom and dad, I've never heard anything so beautiful, so reassuring. Deacon, we never had a wedding night. I'd like to have it tonight. I'm going to go take a shower, okay?
Bridget: I'll meet you in the bedroom.
Amber: Deacon, this can't go on.
Deacon: You heard.
Amber: How could you do this?
Deacon: You want me to stop it?
Amber: Yes, that's exactly what I want you to do.
Deacon: Great. That's exactly what I wanted to hear.
Amber: Then you'll stop this insanity?
Amber: Good. When?
Deacon: I'll annul my marriage to Bridget when you annul your marriage to Rick.
