Morgan: What's the matter, Stephanie? You don't seem so happy to see me. Well, I -- I mean, I guess you thought that I'd left or something. But no, I couldn't just leave without saying good-bye and thank you for all your "hospitality." You know, you and your family, you have been so warm and welcoming, and I just wanted to leave them something to remember me by.

Brooke: Hi, honey.

Rick: Hey, Mom.

Brooke: What are you doing here so late?

Rick: Well, you know, I've got a lot of catching up to do if I'm going to be going on a honeymoon next week.

Brooke: Well, then, I won't interrupt you.

Rick: Mom, Mom, hang on for a minute. It's been a while since we've talked.

[Brooke sighs]

Brooke: I don't think you want to hear what I have to say.

Rick: Well, there is one thing that I want to hear. I want to hear that you support me and this marriage.

Brooke: Honey, you have plenty of support. Stephanie's hosting the wedding, and she's organizing everything.

Rick: Yeah, and she's been doing a great job, and we really appreciate it, but she's not my mother. Look, I'm getting married. It's kind of a big deal. I need to know that you'll be there for me. Please say that you will.

Amber: What's he sayin'?

[Little Eric babbles]

Amber: Oh, my dear, you are gonna have a wonderful time at the wedding. You are. There's gonna be a cake and presents. Yes. It's gonna be like a birthday party. You like birthday parties, don't you?

Little Eric: Yes.

Amber: Yes, you do. And everyone you love is gonna be there, everyone except Deacon. He better stay away.

Deacon: This isn't fair. You're a good kid. You shouldn't have to pay for what your family did. But I can't let them steal Amber and my son.

Bridget: Hey, you okay?

Deacon: No. Bridget, why do you have to be a Forrester?

Bridget: Pretend I'm not. Pretend I'm Janet Rosenszweig. The name on my fake ID, remember?

Deacon: I wish you were. 'Cause that way, we could be together.

Bridget: We are together.

Deacon: Yeah, for the last time.

Bridget: Somehow I don't think so.

Deacon: Your father thinks that I'm a despicable human being.

Bridget: Come on.

Deacon: Those were his exact words.

Bridget: I can't believe he'd say that.

Deacon: Well, he did. And he said a lot worse.

Bridget: Why? What did you do?

Deacon: See, you're doin' it. You're looking at me through their eyes. I knew this was gonna happen.

Bridget: No, no. Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it that way.

Deacon: It doesn't matter. I mean, this was over before it started. I want to thank you for tonight, but tonight's all we're gonna have. You'd better go.

Bridget: Not yet.

Deacon: Bridget, please. The more you stay here, the more I want you. Just go, please.

Cop: Lieutenant! Lieutenant, she's not here.

Ridge: Where is she?! Where's Morgan?!

Taylor: Ridge, your mother's not answering the phone!

Tim: I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

Ridge: Come on, let's go. Come on.

Lt. Baker: All right, let's get to the house right now. Let's go. McClosky, we're goin' to the house. Let's go!

Stephanie: Stay away from me, Morgan. Don't come near me.

Brooke: Honey, you know how I feel about this. You're going to tie yourself to Amber and Deacon for the rest of your life.

Rick: And you think that's a mistake.

Brooke: Yes, I do.

Rick: Well, you know, you've made a few of those yourself.

Brooke: So I know what I'm talking about.

Rick: But when you made those mistakes, where were the people that loved you the most?

Brooke: Rick --

Rick: Grandma, Aunt Donna, Aunt Katie?

Brooke: They were right there by my side.

Rick: That meant a lot, didn't it?

Brooke: What it meant was that when I realized that I made a mistake, I felt safe going to them for help. And if I do what you're asking, that will be the reason why.

Rick: You really don't think this is gonna work out, do you?

Brooke: Honey, I just wanted so much more for you.

Rick: Mom, this is what I want. Look, I know it won't be easy. I know Amber and I are young, and if we were on our own, yeah, we would screw it up, but we're not on our own. All right, we have people who love us, supporting us, helping us, giving us advice.

Brooke: Not that you'll listen.

Rick: I will listen, Mom. I will, as long as I know you're trying to help us stay together, not break us apart. I want to have a family, a real family -- Mom, Dad, kids -- something solid.

Brooke: I'm sorry I couldn't give that to you.

Rick: But you can, Mom. You can by protecting this family, the family that Amber and I have created. Please, will you do that for me?

Brooke: Yes.

Amber: What have you got there, huh?

Little Eric: Poker chips.

Amber: Poker chips? Poker chips, let me see. Poker chips. [Laughs] Oh, only Deacon. It should never have happened. Then Deacon could've let go. But now I know he's gonna try something. [Sighs] I know it.

Deacon: Bridget, just go!

Bridget: No. I can't leave you like this.

Deacon: I'm not gonna let you stay. This isn't good for you.

Bridget: Well, it hasn't been bad for me.

Deacon: Yeah, but wait'll your family finds out.

Bridget: They don't have to find out. Do they?

Deacon: Ah, man, that's all this is to you. It's just a fling, some naughty little secret. What the hell was I thinkin'? What else would someone like you want with someone like me?

Bridget: No. That's not true.

Deacon: Just forget it, Bridget. You don't have to apologize. You're a kid. You're not gonna want anything serious.

Bridget: I'm not using you. I swear. God. Look, Deacon, sometimes I say stupid things, but just ignore them, okay? I've never done this before.

Deacon: Done what?

Bridget: You know, fallen in --

Deacon: Don't say that, all right?

Bridget: It's how I feel.

Deacon: No, it's not how you feel, Bridget. This is a crush. That's what this is. And tomorrow, or the next day, you're gonna meet some guy at the ski lodge or the yacht club, and your patents are gonna love him. Then you guys are gonna have the perfect wedding, the perfect kids, and the perfect life.

Bridget: Do I have any say in this?

Deacon: No. Your family knows what's best for you, and it sure as hell ain't me.

Bridget: Well, that's not their decision, Deacon. It's mine.

Deacon: You really don't know what they're capable of, do you? They took my son, Bridget.

Bridget: You didn't want him.

Deacon: Is that what they told you?

Bridget: You signed away your rights.

Deacon: Amber told me that if I didn't sign that piece of paper, I'd never see him again. And they offered me $1 million. And I thought to myself, "this is it. This is my shot to give my son everything that I've never had, take him on trips, set up a trust fund for him." And now, they won't let me see him, and there's no money.

Bridget: Amber tricked you?

Deacon: She was acting under orders.

Bridget: Whose? No. No, Deacon, not my father. He would never treat anyone like that.

Deacon: Listen to me, I'm not trying to turn you against your family. I just want you to see how hopeless this is. You'd be trapped in the middle, and as much as I want you, I can't let that happen.

[Cell phone rings]

Bridget: [Sighs] Get that.

Bridget: It's probably just Lisa. Hello.

Brooke: Hi, honey.

Bridget: Mom.

Brooke: I called home to check in on you, and Thorne said you weren't there.

Bridget: Um, no, I stopped to get something to eat first.

Brooke: Well, why don't you get home right away, okay? We have a lot to do to plan this wedding.

Bridget: Yeah, okay. I'm on my way. Bye. I have to go. We are not finished talking about this.

Deacon: She shouldn't be dragged into this. Brooke. She doesn't want this wedding any more than I do. Maybe she's the answer.

Ridge: What's goin' on?

Taylor: She's not answering!

Ridge: Try again! We're gonna be too late. We're gonna be too late!

Stephanie: Morgan, you don't want to do this. You don't want to do this. Trust me.

Morgan: You told everybody, "Morgan's insane. Morgan is dangerous, and one of these days, she's gonna kill somebody." As it turns out, you were right.

[Sirens wailing]

Stephanie: That's the police.

Morgan: Oh, I bet it is.

Stephanie: If you run now, you can still get away!

Morgan: And where would I go, and what do I have left, Stephanie?! You stole my life, and I am just here to return the favor! [Grunting]

Eric: Good God! Get off her!

Eric: Stephanie, are you all right? Are you all right?

Stephanie: I'm fine. Get her! Get that bitch! [Grunting]

Eric: Stop. Stop.

Brooke: Deacon?

Deacon: I hope I didn't scare you, Brooke.

Brooke: How'd you get in here?

Deacon: Gosh, it was the funniest thing. I just told the security guard that I had a surprise for the bride and groom. They let me right in. 'Cause you know what? I do have a surprise. You can throw me out in a few minutes. First, you're gonna hear what I have to say.

Brooke: More threats. [Sighs] Look, I understand how you feel.

Deacon: Oh, I know you do. That's why I'm here. You got to stop this wedding.

Brooke: Oh, so you were bluffing.

Deacon: No, I don't think so.

Brooke: Well, you told everybody you had a plan to stop the wedding.

Deacon: I do, and it's foolproof.

Brooke: So why do you need to see me?

Deacon: My way is -- messy. Look, I know what's goin' on here, all right? You don't want the wedding to go on, but you want to keep your nose clean, so you figure, "hey, let's let Deacon do the dirty work."

Brooke: No, you're wrong. I really don't want you to sabotage the wedding

Deacon: Oh, well, you got that right, because your kid's gonna be the one that pays the price.

Brooke: What are you talking about? If you touch one hair on my son's head --

Deacon: No, I'm not gonna do that. That's too easy. Besides, you'd have me thrown in jail, and I'd never see my son again. What I have in mind is something much more creative, plus legal. You can't touch me. You can't stop it.

[Brooke sighs]

Brooke: Great. So what is this brilliant plan?

Deacon: Brooke, you better pray you never find out, because I don't want to do it. It's not my style. But you're not leaving me too many options.

Brooke: Well, what do you expect me to do?

Deacon: Anything you have to.

Brooke: I promised my son that I would support him.

Deacon: Shouldn't be too big an issue for you. You guys go back on your word all the time. In a couple days, you're gonna wish to God you took this advice. Brooke, I want you to listen to me very carefully. If you force my hand on this one, I promise you and your family -- they'll never recover.

Rick: What the hell are you doing here?! You know, I thought we made ourselves pretty clear. You stay away from us -- all of us -- until after the wedding.

Deacon: I guess Amber must have missed that little memo, 'cause she came by earlier.

Rick: Yeah. Yeah, and you scared her with all your stupid threats.

Deacon: She's not afraid of me. She's afraid of her feelings.

Rick: She doesn't want you, Deacon. My God, don't you have any pride?

Deacon: Pride isn't gonna get my family back, Rick. But somehow, I think that I have something that will.

Rick: Oh, right, right, "the plan."

Deacon: Either you call off this wedding, or I will.

Rick: Yeah, I'd like to see you try, buddy.

Brooke: Rick.

Rick: What, Mom?! He's bluffing. Now get out of here before I have you thrown out!

Deacon: Brooke, this is your one chance. Don't forget it.

[Brooke sighs]

Eric: Okay, all right.

Ridge: Mother!

Taylor: What happened?!

Ridge: All right?

Stephanie: I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm okay.

Eric: Morgan tried to drown her. She -- I pulled her off. The officer came.

Lt. Baker: Get her out of here right now.

Morgan: Ridge, wait. I only wanted you to love me.

Eric: All right. All right, she's gone now. We never have to see her again. Oh, God.

Little Eric: Daddy, Daddy.

Deacon: Hey, come here, you. Oh! Oh, God, I missed you. Look at this guy. Look at this handsome devil.

Amber: Why are you here?

Deacon: I was just visiting the mother-in-law to be.

Amber: Brooke? That's who you were with at the lair, wasn't it? You guys are teaming up against me!

Deacon: Amber, everything I'm doing I'm doing for you. Look, whether you believe it or not, I'm the white knight here.

[Amber sighs]

Amber: Please, Deacon, just leave us alone.

Deacon: I can't do that, babe. I can't lose you to them.

[Phone rings]

Bridget: Hello?

Deacon: Hi.

Bridget: Deacon.

Deacon: I shouldn't have called.

Bridget: No, no, don't hang up.

Deacon: I can't stop thinking about you.

Bridget: Me, either. Look, I know you're worried about my family's reaction, but --

Deacon: They're gonna lose their minds.

Bridget: Yeah, they can be a little overprotective, but they love me. They'd do anything for me.

Deacon: That's what I'm counting on.

[Knock on door]

Deacon: Hold on. Okay, I've got to go. Good night, baby. Sweet dreams, baby.

Brooke: Look, I don't know who was with Deacon at the lair tonight, but it certainly wasn't me. Now, I told you before I'm against this wedding. But I also told Rick that I would support it, and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Amber: He still has something planned.

Rick: It doesn't matter. Deacon isn't gonna crash the wedding.

[Deacon thinking]

Deacon: I won't have to, 'cause I'll be there as Bridget's date. When Rick and the Forresters realize that they'll have to choose between Amber and their sweet baby girl, there's no way they're gonna let this wedding go on. And that's when you two come home -- to me.

Amber: Are you sure?

Rick: Yeah, just relax, okay?

Amber: Okay.

Rick: All right, okay.
