One Life to Live Articles
Well, itís a New Year and Llanview is making sure it starts out right.
Honestly, I cannot say too much about John and Natalie because as soon as
she starts in with the whining, I fast-forward. I do have to admit, though,
that John and Marty were showing some sparks. I think it is time to play
partner switch, I am ready for something other than boredom. I know most of
you out there probably wouldnít agree, but Nat and Vincent play off each
other pretty well, and Iíd enjoy seeing them follow through. John and Marty
do not have to be a couple, but some good scenes with them on a regular
basis would be enjoyable.
It was really cool seeing Evangeline and Todd together again. My dream of
them being a couple is dead, but their friendship still shows the chemistry
they have. I almost felt sorry for Adrianna and Rex as they watched
Todd and Blair with Tommy. I say almost, because as much as I understand the
reason for them doing what they did, it was still totally wrong.
It still amazes me how Starr has transformed from the conniving
spider-loving youngster into this intelligent, compassionate, amazing young
lady; she is one of the few younger actors that I really enjoy watching.
Clint, Dorian, Vicki-- I am still liking the humor in that threesome.
It was such a pleasure seeing Asa up and about, but at the same time, it
is sad to now see the unmistakable signs of his age and recent illness.
Oh, was Jess not brilliant when she ripped that jacket off? It is so
refreshing seeing Jessica doing things she never would have done before.
With that said, I am glad that Jess and Nash didnít do a Tess thing in the
mine. I would like to see Jessica do the adult thing instead of cheating, I
want her to tell Antonio of her feelings for Nash and actually decide who
she wants to spend her life with. Oh, I know itís a soap, so another door
with another man will open sometime, but she needs to make a decision about
these two now.
My favorite scene of the week was when Todd was telling a supposedly
sleeping Blair how he felt, and giving a heartfelt apology. Let me not
forget, Roxy and her suit were a nice bit of comic relief. We all know David
is my favorite, but until his return, Iíll rely on Roxy to make me laugh.
I am off yet again to do whatever, so Iíll see you in Llanview.
