On the box for this week, Complete and total redemption! After
some of the worst episodes of GL to date, the writers really
redeemed themselves this past week. Josh and Reva fans, rejoice!
The power couple is back in the saddle. And I couldn’t be happier.
What an emotional roller coaster these two have brought us along
on; last Weds. “Inside the Light” was wonderful. I especially
loved the flash backs of those two from way back when. It brought
back so many memories and reminded me just why I love these two.
Just when I thought I couldn’t endure another Jeva break up, GL
brought it home and got us all back on board. Bravo GL, bravo!
Tammy and Jonathon reunited as well. I am so glad they didn’t
stretch this out longer than need be, what with the rumors of Tom
Pelphrey leaving next year. Lets not waste precious acting skills
by having T.P. play the wounded and scorned ex-boyfriend,
determined to stop at nothing till he gets his woman back. It’s
been done …ahem Sandy…ahem Edmund. I’m jes sayin.
Can I tell you how much I am loving the new Lizzie? She has really
proved herself. It is so rare when a recast is better than the
original. Now I think Nicole Forester has as of late been doing a
lovely job as Cassie. The key thing that she has been remembering
is that she must have that undeniable chemistry with Tammy. And
the scenes with the two of them last week were awesome. I have
heard on several occasions Stephanie Gatschet say that her real
mother is her best friend and she brings that into her portrayal
of Tammy. I also enjoy seeing Cassie and Josh scenes. These two
have a great relationship, it can lead to so many places but it is
also great if it stays just how it is. (Like that’ll happen)
Anyway back to Lizzie. She has really brought another dimension to
the once, way to snooty, way too immature, and way too cold Lizzie
played by Crystal Hunt. She would have never been able to pull off
the sexy scenes with Jonathan and with the storylines to come,
only the current Lizzie (Marcy Rylan) would be believable enough
to make it work. I am real excited to see this weeks “Inside the
Light” starring Marcy Rylan. I don’t wanna spoil any of the
surprises that lie ahead, but with sweeps coming up, and with all
the Emmy nods, you gotta know that GL is really gonna “bring it!”
Good things to come GL fans good things! That’s it for this week,
next week I will delve into why the writers are so scared to just
let Gus and Harley have that “normal life” they claim to want so
much. At least for a little while. Gus addicted to pain meds?
Isn’t he wacky enough? I say let them finish that damn house
already! Get all comfy cozy and then rock Gus’s world by telling
him Harley and Mallet slept together. And then if Gus turns to
some unhealthy addiction…well then, so be it!
Till next time, this is Natali the stayhomegoddess, stepping off
