GH Commentary

Week of December 16, 2002 - "The
Blondes"
A little about me: I have watched GH for many years and
love being able to say, "I watched when". I do have to admit
that I FF through a lot of GH because there are people that I can't stand
watching. Then there are the people I can't stop watching because I'm
hooked. So I have to warn you that things may be missed/skipped. Now, onto
my very first GH Commentary, which is a summary of the week in general.
This is a few days late because of the holiday.
Blond #1 - I FF through Luke and his Laura/Summer
companion. This whole story is very scary to me, but I was happy to catch
her finally admitting to a reason why she's not shown up to help him out.
Her dissing the crazy old man was just mean.
Blond #2 - Courtney needs to admit she's rebounding from
A.J. Believe me I'm glad she's stopped being so naïve and is seeing A.J.
for what he is but her being with Jason is just not right. I'm waiting for
them to say, "Hey everyone, we've been putting on a charade to cover
Sonny," or something. Her peeping in the window at Kelley's was just
childish, especially with Liz right there. Jason not even saying hello to
Liz is sad. Yes, I'm a Liason fan. Guza can come up with a great way to
save that botched storyline. Why was Courtney sleeping on the couch when
they had a big bed two feet away? Sorry, I just don't like her and Jason
together.
Blond #3 - It will be nice to see Faith and Ned take
Sonny down. At least having another woman in power will be nice. I loved
Ned and Sonny's fight. I thought it was a very good fight acting wise. Ned
has had some pent up anger for quite awhile. It will be fun seeing him
become Sonny's newest "problem". I was also happy that Ned
dumped Alexis. I am a HUGE Alexis fan, but time for her to move on, she
missed her opportunity with Ned. Newbie Faith will be a good distraction
for Ned. I hope he uses her well and has some fun in the meantime.
Blond #4 - Sonny saying, "What's going on with my
sister?" Hello, it's called growing up! Carly starting another club
is a great idea. That woman needs to stay busy to keep her nose out of
other peoples business. I'm just a little tired of Carly, nothing more to
say there.
Blond #5 - I am very glad Felicia is back in the loop at
GH. I have missed her, but she needs to improve her interrogation skills.
Her and Cameron might be nice together. He's so serious and needs some
loosening up.
Blond #6 - I'm glad Scotty brought up the fact that
Laura was his wife at one time. It's nice to see history being mentioned.
Non-Blondes:
New Gia is OK so far, but not the same. Becoming a
lawyer all of sudden, is a big stretch, but that's what Soaps are all
about. Giving New Gia a new story is a good idea. I just found it weird
how she bumped into Zander. They never liked each other right?
I love Coleman and Sky together. She is a great actress
and deserves better than Jax. (I won't even touch the Jax and Brenda
fiasco right now). Christmas at the Q's, that was very sad and un-fatherly
of Alan to act the way he did. Sure, they all love Brenda, but you have to
draw the line somewhere. That whole situation was cruel, even for Edward.
Last but not least, couldn't Jason pick up that tree
without a shirt? Yum.
