An evening of glitz and glam at the 30th Daytime
Emmys 2003 by Flo
It was Friday, May 16, 2003 7:30 P.M. I arrived at Radio City
Music Hall in my red gown and rhinestone jewelry, looking like a
princess. The crowd was huge, but my seat was great!
I saw so
many Daytime stars outside and inside of the music hall. I was
blessed to have spoken to most of them and to receive such
wonderful compliments on my gown. One fan thought that I was
related to Fran Drescher from "The Nanny." LOL!
The stars I got to speak with were:
Robin Christopher (Skye- GH)
Tyler Christopher (Nik- GH)
Chad Brannon (Zander- GH)
Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis- GH)
Kelly Monaco (Livvie- PC)
Ricky Paull Goldin (Gus- GL)
And the list goes on! I even got to smoke a cigar with
Anthony Geary (Luke- GH)! They were all so nice to get to know
and so nice to finally meet them in person. I met the most
important ones that I love to watch on TV. Next time I wish to
meet Stephen Nichols (Stefan Cassadine) and Constance Towers
(Helena Cassadine) and that will completely make all my dreams
come true!
The opening act of the show was hosted by Wayne Brady. His
skit was great and he did such a wonderful job hosting the Emmys
that I hope to see him at next year's Emmys! Everyone that
announced the Awards did a wonderful and terrific job besides
looking fabulous, too!
I got to take some really cool pictures. Getting to
speak to some really talented stars made the night shine so
bright!
My reports back to my family, friends, co-workers, and fans
on the internet were filled with over joy. There was much
excitement and clapping of hands! Some of them pointed out while
watching it on TV that they heard screams and cheers
throughout the audience. That must have been me bellowing out
along with the other fans to all the stars: "WE LOVE YOU ALL!"
because my voice and hands were sore by the end of the night!
What a priceless night filled with glitz and glam, along with
magic that would cause anyone who went to shine like a star.
