Alicia Minshew (ex-Kendall) has the lead role in the new film "Desires of the Heart." It begins filming in Savannah, GA, then move to India. Minshew will be playing Madeline, an artist living in Georgia who catches the eye of a psychiatrist visiting from India played by Val Lauren. But when he is sent back home for his arranged marriage, things get complicated!

Julie Marie Berman (Lulu, GH) plays Jo March in the new independent film "Orchard House," which is an updated version of the Louisa May Alcott classic "Little Women" set in 2012. Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie, AMC) plays Teddy, the guy in love with Jo. When filming in Grafton, MA, is completed on August 12, the film will be picked up by a distributor.
On Monday, September 3 at 1 p.m., ID will offer viewers a first look at the all-new series "Deadly Affairs" with Susan Lucci (ex-Erica, AMC), which premieres on Saturday, September 8 at 10 p.m.
Brittany Allen (ex-Marissa) just filmed guest-starring roles on two Syfy shows, "Lost Girl" and "Defiance". Defiance is a new show that starts airing April 2013. Lost Girl starts airing its 3rd season in January 2013.
Réal Andrews (ex-Officer Trumbull) stars in his show "The Real Catch" on WFN.
Vincent Irizarry (ex-David Hayward, AMC; ex-David Chow, Y&R) has joined the cast of "Left to Die" for Lifetime, an amazing true story filming in August in Bogota, Columbia. Barbara Hershey will star as Sandra Chase, a woman whose vacation to Ecuador turns into a nightmare when she is wrongly imprisoned for drug trafficking. Rachael Leigh Cook will play her daughter, Tammi, who relentlessly fights for her mother's release.
Eddie Cibrian (ex-Matt, Y&R), who returns as Dennis Rockmond, the hunk who pulled a disappearing act on Maura in June, and Colin Egglesfield (ex-Josh, AMC), who plays Jane's screw-up brother, Tommy, will appear in the "Rizzoli & Isles" episode "Melt My Heart To Stone" on Tuesday, August 14, at 9 p.m. ET.
Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo) will play a patient named Spivey on season two of the FX's "American Horror Story," which will begin in mid-October. He is also guest co-host on "Live with Kelly" 7/23.

Trai Beyers (ex-Mookie, Maya's abusive boyfriend) has the recurring role of techie Alec, a co-worker of Max's who is all business and has no qualms about protecting what is his, in the fifth season of the CW drama 90210 beginning on Monday, October 8.
Matt Bomer (ex-Ian Kipling) stars as Ken in the male stripper movie "Magic Mike." Denise Vasi (ex-Randi) plays Ruby in the same movie.

ABC passed on "Devious Maids," the newest drama from "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry, but it's found a new home on Lifetime. The network has ordered 13 episodes of the series to begin airing in March. It revolves around four housekeepers who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills but have dreams and ambitions of their own. Roselyn Sanchez (ex-Pilar, ATWT) plays Carmen, one of the leading roles. Brianna Brown (ex-Lisa, GH) plays Taylor Slate, a classy and smart second trophy wife who has some insecurities in her marriage since the ex-wife is still a constant presence. Susan Lucci (ex-Erica, AMC) is one of the rich ladies, Genevieve Delacourt, who is depressed she's no longer the man eater she used to be.
Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan, AMC) and Ashley Jones (ex-Bridget, B&B) will guest star in August on Episode 12 of the fourth season of "Drop Dead Diva," which airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime. Tuesday, 8/14,  he rides the newest extreme ride in Dollywood on "Good Morning America" on ABC.
Jack Scalia (ex-Chris) will appear in a Syfy Channel original movie called "Jersey Shore Shark Attack," which premiered on Saturday, June 9, at 9 p.m. ET. The cast includes Paul Sorvino, Joey Fatone, and "Jersey Shore's" Vinny Guadagnino as angry sharks terrorize the Jersey Shore during spring break weekend.
J.R. Martinez (ex-Brot) will play a physical therapist who works with injured military members on the season finale of the Lifetime drama "Army Wives" in August.
Billy Miller (Billy, Y&R; ex-Richie, AMC) is taking a break from Y&R to film the Lifetime movie "Fatal Honeymoon" on Australia's Gold Coast. Based on actual events, Miller stars as Gabe Watson, who pled guilty to the 2003 manslaughter of his wife, Tina, who died while scuba diving on their honeymoon. Accused of tampering with his wife's equipment in order to pocket more than $200,000 in insurance money, Watson served 18 months in prison before being released in November 2010.
Victoria Rowell (ex-Dru, Y&R) appears in a three-episode arc on the upcoming second season of VH1's hot drama "Single Ladies" as Veronica Vanderbilt, a stylish attorney who is working for Raquel played by Denise Vasi (ex-Randi, AMC). Veronica's ex-boyfriend, Sean, is played by Terrell Tilford (ex-David, GL; ex-Greg, OLTL). The show's second season began on Monday, May 28. Rowell's episodes will air toward the end of the season, likely beginning in early August.
In addition to "Venice," Crystal Chappell (Carly, Days; ex-Olivia, GL; ex-Maggie, OLTL) is helming another web soap this summer called "The Grove," and she'll begin taping a role in a third web series, "The Team," in June in Shreveport, Louisiana, with Tristan Rogers (Robert, GH & NS; ex-Colin, Y&R; ex-Hunter, B&B), David A. Josh Duhamel (ex-Leo, AMC) has the recurring role of Captain Flynn on "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" on the Disney Channel Fridays at 8:30 a.m. ET. The show is also aired later in the day at 5:30 p.m. ET on the new Disney Junior channel. Jason Tam (Markko) has filmed parts in the NBC pilot "Do No Harm," a modern-day take on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Phylicia Rashad (Felicia, Santa Barbara; Courtney, OLTL) plays Dr. Vanessa Young, the chief of surgery, and Alana De La Garza (Rosa, AMC) will play colleague and friend Dr. Lena Steck. Tam was on the set of the FOX pilot "Guilty" an hour-long legal drama with Cuba Gooding Jr. as a morally questionable defense attorney who, after being falsely convicted of fraud and stripped of his license, now uses unorthodox methods to solve the cases he's been prohibited from handling.
On Saturday, April 21, at 8 p.m. "The Wife He Met Online," with Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan, AMC) and Sydney Penny (ex-Dr. Liv Norman, Days; ex-Julia, AMC; ex-Samantha, B&B), premiered on Lifetime. Also appearing in the movie are Barbara Niven (ex-Liz, OLTL) and Cynthia Preston (ex-Faith, GH).
Bobbie Eakes (ex-Krystal, AMC; ex-Macy, B&B) will star on the second season of the Web comedy "Fumbling Thru the Pieces" as Janice, which also features Hillary B. Jon Lindstrom (ex-Craig, ATWT; ex-Kevin/Ryan, GH & PC) has a new romantic comedy "What Happens Next" releasing on Netflix and DVD on February 7, 2012. Lindstrom plays Paul Greco, a recently retired, straight billionaire and socialite who finds himself at loose ends until his worried sister played by Wendie Malick (Gertie, AMC) gives him a puppy. "While walking the dog in the park, he meets a young man, Andy, a gay advertising wiz, and they start to develop a friendship," Lindstrom previews. As the new friends explore the distinction between contentment and happiness, they also face complications presented by their ill-informed family members, including Andy's sister, Roz, played by Natalia Cigliuti (Anita, AMC) and their well-meaning advisors. Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley) and Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo) served as executive producers of "Dirty Soap" on E!, a look at the behind-the-scenes lives of Farah Fath and John-Paul Lavoisier (Gigi and Rex, OLTL); Nadia Bjorlin and Galen Gering (Chloe and Rafe, DOOL); and Kirsten Storms and Kelly Monaco (Maxie and Sam, GH). Thorsten Kaye (ex-Zach) will appear on the NBC musical drama series "Smash" starting with the 7th episode in the recurring role of Nick, who is the love interest of Anjelica Huston's character, Eileen Rand. The show premieres on Monday, February 6, 2012, at 10 p.m. centering around the creation of a Broadway musical based on Marilyn Monroe's life.

William deVry (ex-Storm, B&B; ex-Michael, AMC; ex-Tim, PC) has a recurring role on the CW's "Nikita" as Patrick Miller whose story begins in earnest on the mid-season finale airing Friday, December 2 at 8 p.m. ET. Ricky Paull Goldin has a new "high-concept, over-the-top comedy" web-series for Disney called CeReality. Co-starring Kate Gilligan, it is a soap opera spoof called "The Young and the Breakfast" and the sponsors are Kellogg's and Milk, thus the theme and the title.
Jacob Young (J.R., AMC; ex-Lucky, GH) returned to B&B as Rick Forrester on September 26, a role he played from 1997-99. He states it's only a short-term stay.
Colin Egglesfield (ex-Josh) has a recurring role on TNT's "Rizzoli & Isles" as Tommy, brother of Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and son of Angela Rizzoli (Lorraine Bracco). He appeared in the episode titled "Gone, Daddy Gone" which aired on Monday, September 5 at 10 pm EST.
