All My Children Best Lines Wednesday 12/15/10

Provided By Gisele

Angie: Blind and sleep-deprived. I could easily reach out for the wrong thing. And then there's the clothing, the bathing.

Woman: You'll have help.

Angie: But I don't want help. I want to be able to do this myself. I don't want my child thinking of me as some helpless cripple. That is not who I am. I mean, at least a newborn will stay in one place, but before long there's the crawling, the walking. What if my child is headed for a hot stove, about to fall, and I have no idea?

Woman: Mobility is a long way off.

Angie: But it's coming, all of it. I remember how active Frankie was. He was climbing onto everything and trying to get into every cabinet.

Woman: That's what baby-proofing is for.

Angie: Who will baby-proof me?

Tad: J.R. is -- he's busy at the moment. He's with his family.

Annie: Right. Work can wait. I'll just, um -- bye.

Tad: Annie? Next time, why don't you use the front door?

Annie: [Breaks Marissa's ornament] Whoops.
